Il Ristoro della Pe' is the BEST restaurant we dined at during our week long trip in Italy. From excellent service from all staff, to exquisite food and drinks, this is the place to eat at if you're staying in Pisa. We loved it so much we came back for dinner before going back to Edinburgh. Delicious food, wonderful staff, really accomodating chef (I am pregnant and they made a few alterations to my meals to suit my needs and aversions). All in all my favourite place to eat in Pisa! Highly recommend!!!

BEST PASTA/GNOCCI EVER!! If you have just a little respect for you self, you go and eat at this little hidden gem! 💎 Maybe it doesn’t look like much, but I am so happy we choose to spend our night/dinner here! Most wonderful pasta and gnocchi!! So inspiring to watch the chef make everything in that little kitchen! And the lady that made sure the service was in top, she was the nicest person ever! Not a finger to put on anything! I couldn’t stop smiling going home, and most of all I just wanted to sit there for hours and watch how the chef made real italian food! They have been there for 6 years, and I will definitely comeback within the next 6 days to get som more fantastic food. Do yourself a favor and visit this place. please.

One of the best Pasta dishes we had during our italy trip. We had the Spaghetti Carbonara and Gnocchi alla Sorentina Rinfozzati. Both very delicious. We we're lucky that we have been there before the opening times so we got some seats. Better try IT with reservation

Dropped by as we were walking around Pisa. What a surprise it was!! Awesome food from grilled smoked cheese on eggplants and two excellent pasta dishes - orichette with black cabbage pesto and pasta with speck and pumpkin. We came late to the party but got seated in spite of that - thank you so much, a most excellent meal!

We stumbled across this restaurant by chance through Google reviews, after a last minute trip to Pisa. Wow, amazing food, service and atmosphere. It's very small, with everything prepared per dish. We didn't realize but through sheer good luck, we actually got a table. For the 1 hour we were there, countless people were turned away due to no seating. This really is deserving of 5* and an exceptionally hospitable host. Go check it out, if you can get a seat! 🍝🇮🇹🍷

Delicious! The pasta was amazing and the staff were very friendly. It was the best pasta I have tasted in the few days I was in that part of Italy.

For anyone visiting Pisa you absolutely must go here. The food is delicious. After I ate, my plate was that clean you could immediately reuse it again. If you are looking for authentic Italian food from a master Chef, a fantastic atmosphere and great service, this is the restaurant.

The best pasta with fresh tuna that I ever had! It's not far from the leaning tower, the staff is friendly and food delicious :)

We had a great time! The food was absolutely delicious - smoked burrata, carbonara, sausage meat on toast with caramelised onions - outstanding quality. Amazing owners, very patient with a messy table of 6 people with 2 moody kids. The owners were great! Absolutely recommend!

Oh my goodness. First off- this place is a MUST TRY. Be sure to place a reservation!!! We just arrived in Pisa and had reserved this place in advance, due to the positive reviews. My god, SO GOOD. The service is wonderful, knowledgeable, and personable. The food was impeccable, well prepared and delicious. Go with what the staff recommends - you will not be disappointed 🖤

Let me start by saying a a MASSIVE thank you to all the staff in the restaurant - Pe, your lovely and positive personality what brings joy to the restaurant and chef Luca, your food is OUTSTANDING!! My tummy has been filled with the tastiest food on earth. I recommend the Arselle spaghetti (clams), octopus pasta and definitely the drunken pasta!! For dessert try the raspberry panna cotta! - so refreshing. I actually don’t want to leave this place let alone the restaurant - I feel I have met my second family <3

Absolutely gorgeous food with lovely service. The waiter was very accommodating and patient with everyone. Wonderful local wines and a choice of soft drinks or beer. The food was wonderful, full of flavour and very well presented. Great choice of many dishes of pasta and salads. Overall a wonderful experience and would highly recommend.

After a few failed attempts to eat here,I booked for my last night in Pisa. I had the tagliatelle Ragu,oh my! Superb! I have never enjoyed pasta so much. Lovely service and a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you so much!

We walked im withiut a reservation, and they could luckily squeeze us in. We had 2 starters, 2 mains (as 2 of us were not that hungry) and a bottle of wine for 4 people, which came to a very reasonable price . Service was great, our server explained the dishes to us in English and help reccomend wine too. Flavours were well balanced, with great quality ingredients. I'd reccomend going for the specials- we had clam tagliatelle and mushroom carpacchio which were absolutely delicious.

Pretty small place with a great menu. Food was just delicious. We had the carpaccio and gnocchi. Carpaccio came with a tasty salad underneath and topped with cheese. Olive oil was of really good quality too and tomatoes were fresh and tasty. Gnocchi was spectacular too full of tasty mozzarella and a great tomato sauce. Atmosphere was “decent”, don’t expect a super fancy restaurant because it isn’t, however, if you want to try really good food, come to this restaurant. It’s all about food quality. Price was 28EUR with water/coke and the two mains. Really cheap too. We left the place fed for a week or so. Waiters have a really good English which is something you appreciate too, although Google can make things easier if you need it. Will come back and keep recommending this place.

Went on a Friday night without a reservation. Place is small and plainly decorated, think cafe rather than restaurant. They squeezed us in amongst friendly locals and we had fab food, fine service and a fun time. It was great value too. You're spoiled for choice of restaurant in Pisa but this one is a wee cracker.

We had a fantastic evening here. Stumbled on it by chance and managed to get a table a little after 7, after that people were being turned away. The chef and waitress were so friendly and chatty. All laughing at our poor attempts at Italian. This was the best carbonara I've had compared to any previous trips to Italy and the truffle crostini was incredible. My husband really enjoyed his spaghetti and octopus, 100% would recommend.

High 4. Arrived just before opening without reservation and they managed to fit us in. Many people had to be turned away so definitely recommend booking before. Friendly staff, tasty food and can tell it’s all fresh.

Found this place on Google away from the tourists. Great value, lovely service, and fantastic food for lunch. I would heartily recommend to anyone visiting Pisa.

Service wasn't the best, felt at first like we were a bit of an inconvenience when trying to get a table (as we couldn't speak great Italian) but the food was incredible when it arrived! 5 star for the food, just let down slightly by the service.

Best pasta we've had in our trip to Italy. Delicious, fresh. Small place but lovely. Staff is great, they also help with recommendations. Avoid more turist places, this is amazing. The carbonara was so creamy. A dream!

Very small but cozy restaurant ( inside they may have 4 or 5 tables), yet interesting plates. I would recommend pasta over steaks.

This burrata! Just too amazing with its smoky flavour. We borh had a pasta as our main dish. Very good price for a huge plate. So tasty! Also friendly staff, even though she was busy and had to work very fast.

Great and generous pasta restaurant not too far from the tour. The service is impeccable but I would suggest to book a table if you want to have dinner as it tends to be full of locals in the evening. The clam spaghettis were especially good (a local specialty).

This place was the highlight of food in our trip in Tuscany. It’s a small cozy place, family-owned by some nice people. They made some amazing recomendations, everything was super delicious and affordable! The cook is preparing everything in front of you and she’s super nice! Super home made food. Good prices and a huge amount of food. Open kitchen and helpful staff. It was a pity being there only for one day.

Despite the fact that I didn't have a reservation, the staff kindly accept me for a quick dinner. I can guarantee that the good is really good and fresh. The wine recommendation was also good and the friendly staff was super nice. Overall the experience was super positive. Just as a note, you must do a reservation otherwise it may be all booked since place is small. Ps- The tiramisu could improve but nothing major.
