whenever your in Pisa and on the way to find some good vegan Restaurant you should definitely check out Vegan Come Koala! It’s super cute and so delicious!!! I had some vegan and gluten-free Pita bread filled all the way up with some local goods. The Guy (who i think owns this place) was super friendly and outgoing! I’d definitely come again!!

Sandwich and burger cruelty free and so tasty, awesome lunch! Best falafel wrap we've had. Super friendly owner too. Takeaway only, no comfy seating. Pics don't do the food justice 😋

Many food options available from wraps, paninis to lasagna. The owner it’s very friendly and prepares everything with care. No matter what you get from here, it will taste very nice. We tried the panini burger, panini hot dog and piadina kebab. All incredible. So thankful for this little hidden vegan heaven in Pisa.

After spending a week in Umbertide, I hitched a ride to Pisa from a nice couple that was heading back to Switzerland. I had to make it to Paris by the weekend and I thought, I should really go see the Leaning Tower of Pisa. I was further delighted to discover there was a vegan restaurant just a short walk away. I arrived at Vegan Come Koala and was immediately impressed with the selection. This restaurant packs a lot of variety into a small space. I decided to go with the tempeh wrap and had a lovely conversation with the owner. The wrap was delicious and filling, providing me with sufficient energy to make the next leg of my trip, continuing North. This is hands down the best vegan restaurant in Pisa.

So happy to find such a wonderful vegan cafe in Pisa that you can skip other touristy restaurants. Lots of choices for healthy food and drinks. And you are totally welcome to customize your food. The owner is extremely friendly and really took time for each customer. It's a blessing to eat delicious vegan/plant- based food in Italy and the price is pretty reasonable. Thank you!

Wife, my son and I stopped for a sandwich, wrap and some tofu to go. The food was excellent. Ingredients were very high quality and the quality the owner put into preparation was on full display. We loved the food and are so grateful we found it. If you are vegetarian go here. If you are vegan go here. If you are neither you should still eat here.

A little gem in otherwise not very vegan-friendly Pisa. Really really cheap and delicious food. The menu sign is a little overwhelming, but the man who worked there both days we went, explained everything in great English. I would especially recommend any of the Tofu burgers, the red pesto, and maybe buying a couple extra things just to support such a lovely place! :)

Seems to be the only vegan place in Pisa, and food was delicious! I've been vegan for 15 years, the tofu and tempeh was cooked well and super tasty. We came back 2 days in a row. This is a small, local place and owner is very friendly. Nice to support this business. Recommended for vegans!!! Thanks

Super delicious sandwich and very friendly service. A great way to eat vegan in Pisa. Nearby is a nice place with benches and palm trees where you can enjoy the food. In addition, everything is sustainably packaged in paper. Gladly again :)

It is excellent to have this vegan shop/cafe in Pisa. Good range of products and a friendly owner. However, the portion sizes could be larger for the price. I wish this place every success into the future.

We had Seitan Wraps and the food was amazing! Especially the cheese tasted so much like real cheese. Also, the owner was just super kind and lovely!

The cheapest vegan food in italy (at least what I've seen), the food is great and the guy who probably owned it or at least worked there was cool. Sometimes the most humble place can be the best.

Basically a small counter with a guy who makes sandwiches using the vegan meats and cheeses that you’d get at a supermarket. There’s a wide array of toppings so you can get a pretty good sandwich if you pick a good combination.

Lovely little place not that far from The Leaning Tower of Pisa. The food was lovely and great to see that it's 100% vegan. The owner was very helpful and spoke English well (which was an added bonus)

I was on a hurry to catch a train and they were really nice and fast to prepare something quick for me. I was not the most polite person because of my hurry and they were really nice. The food was delicious and made with care

The only vegan place in the city full of meat and seafood. Very nice owner and tasty food. Fresh strawberry smoothie was delicious. There could only be more veggies available to add to your meal, but this is more my preference. Highly recommended if you miss vegan protein during trip in Italy :)

Vegan food (only vegan it seems) in Pisa! Food** The food all sounds really good on paper but I’m actually production it was not so nice. We ordered the pizza with seitan slices. There were 4 slices of very thin seitan sheets and a couple small clumps of cheese… it was basically bread and tomato sauce so not really worth the money. There should be more toppings or more cheese. We also got the miso soup which was decent but it was luke warm. Cappuccino was good. Atmosphere ** Very small place, 3 bar stools and tiny counter to eat off of. No music or anything to add to make it feel nice. Service *** The man at the counter was nice. Price €€ Under 15 euro each

It was pretty late in the evening and I was only a little hungry. Suddenly my eyes spotted a sign that said "Vegan". I grinned from ear to ear and total hunger set sail straight to the door. Fear came over me, because I only had my card and not even a penny in cash. I stepped in and an extremely friendly person spoke to me after my humble "Hello". I told him how happy I am to find a vegan only restaurant/bistro. And he offered me a "Hotdog". Still afraid of being unable to pay, I kindly asked if I can pay by card. A soft and polite "yes, sure" came through his lips. While he prepared my food, we had a nice little smalltalk about veganism. I was surprised that he is vegan since 2003. Then I got to choose a sauce for my hotdog. I think there were 6 or 7 different ones. But I took the avocado creme, witch was the only one with 1€ extra charge. Totally fine for me, since avocado is love. He wrapped something up witch I couldn't really see and we went to the door to pay, because of WiFi reasons. As I didn't read any lists of the menu I didn't know any price range. Keep the extra 1€ charge in mind when I say, that I only paid 5,50€! Finally he handed over my food. A gorgeous looking bread half the sice of my upper arm filled with a saitan sausage, sauerkraut and of course the avocado creme. Bite after bite I wanted to go back and tell him how tasty it was and how happy I am, that I took this road on our way to the camping site, and not another one. So I really hope that you read this review and whenever I have the chance to get there, I will come back! Long story short: I had a nice conversation with a really nice guy who made the best vegan hotdogs in whole Italy. <3

What a jem! So happy to find a vegan place here. The food is light and fresh, leaves you full, and delicious! The owner is so nice too. Just wonderful!

Delicious and fully vegan! The owner was very nice and helped us figure out what we wanted. The food was fresh and delicious. A nice break from the heavier Italian meals we had been having. I had a tempeh wrap and my partner had sliced seitan on bread, both were wonderful.

Have to go. It is a unique offering in the centre of Pisa, and even if you are not vegan or vegetarian you will love the food. There is tempeh, tofu and seitan served in a variety of different ways and with a choice of homemade sauces and cheeses. There are fresh desserts, healthy drinks, nice coffee and products like locally-made vegan cheese. The owner is just a great guy, speaks good English and cares about treatment of animals. It is very nice to sit outside the shop and watch the world pass by.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could!! Best sandwiches in Tuscany hands down. He has so many options for spreads, toppings, breads, cheeses, and vegan meats. Can be gluten free, healthy, or a super huge "can barely fit in your mouth" sandwich. Perfect for grabbing lunch and then wandering around town.

The restaurant was a big surprise for us. With a small but very cozy atmosphere, the menu features a wide variety of panini and piadinas, typical of the Italian cuisine, with vegan and delicious alternatives. Burgers, drinks and snacks are also sold, which can be eaten at the place or taken home. There are a variety of gluten free products too. In addition, the staff that served us was very friendly. I recommend it!!

Really good food and very tasty. This is one of the best spots for vegan food in Pisa. I enjoy talking to Marco and learning about different ways to make a good vegan dish. His hamburger and tofu sausage plus a smoothie was really good.

Small store with a great choice of high quality food! We had a tempeh wrap and a pizza with seitan and the best vegan. Parmigiano we ever had. Great place where you can also buy some nice vegan products. We highly recommend!

Lovely little hole-in-the-wall place in the city centre with loads of options, including some groceries. We had a couple pizzas and the sauces and toppings were delicious. The only downside was that the dough was pre-packaged so it tasted more like a supermarket pizza. It was organic and wholegrain so that's perfect is that's what you're after. However, for a more authentic scratch made pizzas, other restaurants might be able to do that for you.
