Comparatively good value for money in terms of the Italian “beach tax”. 10 euro for the day. The surf today is supporting long boarding. The life guards are present on the beach. Looking at the beach, left side is paid umbrellas, right side is bring your own. 3-4 hours outside of the midday sun was great for the young family. Feels safe and secure. Staff were polite and happy! Plenty of parking at the beach front, clean facilities, each bar, restaurant, and volleyball. Access and beach equipment for the disabled. Can’t complain!

Cozy free beach with a little bar that sells drinks, paninis and ice cream at reasonable prices. The bus station is directly at the entry of the beach and there are enough parking spots if you arrive by car.

Spent the day with my friend just hanging out on the beach, drinking our beers and enjoying our sandwiches. Really a very relaxing place and if you just want to chill, take a break, or just wanna enjoy the sunshine, then this is the perfect place for you. Great place, lots of restaurants within reach and also accessible from Marina di Pisa and Pisa Centrale. Bring your friends, take out your ukulele, and don't forget your volleyball and have blast here in Bagno degli Americani!

Good beach but not on the season, because we were there in October:)

The beach has nice thin sand and the sun beda and umbrellas seems to be free, or we got lucky enough as we did not find anyone to pay and no one came to us to ask us to pay. It has a nice bar and a restaurant, also the water is perfect for the kids as the entrance is not abrupt at all. Parking is available at the beach for the normal public parking rate.

Such a great beach!! Free beach at one side, pay 10 euro for two sun chairs and an umbrella at the other side. Drinks, food, snacks close by. Clean, beautiful water. Mostly italians visited here. I spent the entire day at this beach and loved every second.

We found this beach thanks to the reviews others had left so I think it’s only fair to do the same! Great sandy beach, you can choose between the free beach or the reasonably priced beach (22 Euro for the day for two deckchairs, umbrella and two sun loungers - we’ve paid a shedload more for much worse in other parts of Italy). It’s staffed by extremely vigilant lifeguards, has toilets nearby, a bar with nice beer at decent prices (3 Euro a bottle) and a nice relaxed atmosphere. We couldn’t find a space in the car park but there are loads of parking spaces on the road at 0.50 Euro per hour - again, a lot cheaper than some places!

The beach was amazing, warm, secure, and the sunset is just breathtaking. The good thing is there many restaurants close and with live music. Just don’t go to LA LUNA, the worse restaurant in the region.

The only place where we found available parking. We booked a spot with two sun beds and a parasol. The price isn’t too bad, and there’s a lot of refreshments in the kiosk. The staff seemed a bit annoyed at all the people visiting.

Beautiful small free beach. it has showers and toilets which are free as well. There is a bar and restaurant as well with decent food, drinks and ice cream. It is a little crowded on weekends but still very good. The waves are smooth and the water is semi-clear. Even suitable for young kids..

We were there with a group of 36 people from Germany so that we could see something different from our accommodation house. The beach is really beautiful and above all clean. There is a great bar and a great restaurant with very tasty food. I won't soon forget the time there

Mixed group of people, cozy bar and no obligation to pay for sunbeds. Excellent, neat and clean.

Nice beach, life guards, parking (paid). It's being cleaned at least unlike other public beaches. Very busy during June weekends. During the week (in the second part of June), not too many people. There is a bar and toilet which is also a plus but don't expect luxury 😉

The Boy Scouts used this beach back in 1975. I was the lifeguard. Best summer ever!

Beach quite ok. Fine sand. Clean ocean. Parking not too far away. There are toilettes and showers. Chairs and umbrellas can be rented for ten € a day. But lots of empty ones. When asking for different ones closer to the sea the answer was they were all reserved. Sure 🧐. The rest is ok.

For me it's clearly a very bad beach: tons of people, umbrellas, no beautiful view (even if there were, it'd be hidden by all this huge mass of people, like one person is almost on another), and there are bars and restaurants. Looking at all comments, it's apparently what most people are looking for (so sad). Plus it's free.. people say it's nice because it's free... LUCKILY IT'S FREE, IT'S A BEACH!! Come on people, wake up! The beach is nicer during the night: less people and usually good mood with music. Hence the second star

It's a very nice beach with two bars were you can sit and relax while getting a refreshing drink.

A good sand beach to take the kids. Umbrella rental price was a little expensive but I would do it again.

Americani is a free beach and that warms the cockles of my cheap heart...free parking also available on the main beach road.

Nice beach, easily accessible both by car and public transportation. Free wifi available.

The "Bagno degli Americani" beach resort in Tirrenia welcomes you with a young, professional and smiling staff. Everything seems "casual" and "easy" but one can feel the hard work and creativity behind. The sandy beach has two different areas (free/equipped). Highly-qualified lifeguards. Good restaurant and well stocked bar. Free events (DJ set, summer open-air cinema...). A nice place to be.

Enjoyed both, the free beach and the Bathhouse. Suggested if you are in Pisa or Leghorn area and would enjoy the beach and a good sea.

Nice beach, was never not too crowded and the cold water outdoor showers are okay. Indoor warm showers for 1€ are also okay. Dont bring a sun shelter, its forbidden and we had to take it down
