Very good vegetarian restaurant in NJ. I went there few times. They serve buffet lunch all 7 days now and buffet dinners on weekends. Week days buffet prices are reasonable and should be tried. They serve dosa as well on the buffet. Generally buffet menu consists of samosas, manchurian, dosa, paneer dishes, daal fry, pulav, mix vegetables, Salad, lot varieties of dessert, mango lassi etc. they also serve Thali which is also very nice 👍 Weekends are crowded but they have lot of options to choose from. Dosas are good this time when I went they had bindi (okra) masala and it was good . Sweets varieties included gajar halwa, malai kulfi (best ) , chikki, Chena , chocolate fountain etc see pics for more details.

Pure vegetarianism is a plus for only vegetarians. When I visited last year 3-4 times, the food taste was better than now, and they have raised the price, last year they were charging $24 including tax & service charge for one person, and now they charge $26 including everything for one person. It was too crowded, and I noticed many people were going back because they didn't have a place to sit for them. It's good, but I would say slightly expansive per person.

The Manager (white shirt) and the whole team are very patient, kind, polite and professional. We had lot of questions since this was our first visit, and the gentleman who served us (Pradeep) was kind enough to answer all our questions, and he explained everything in detail. He was very attentive but in a non disturbing way. And we observed that other staff members providing similar and wonderful treatment to other guests. All you can eat buffet was delicious. Whole variety of Vegetarian food with the right taste. They have Vegetarian Manchurian (taste like chicken) and Paneer curry that substitute well for meat, so even if you are a meat lover, you will love this Vegetarian food. Soups, Fries and Cheese Cutlets are nice additions to the menu too. Finally the dessert and sweets really reminded us of the authentic Indian dishes we previously had when we traveled to India. Clean and pleasant environment with large tables to accommodate whole families. We drove half an hour to try this place and the experience was worth it. Thanks to the Manager, Pradeep and the team. Please keep the same great service and and the delicious food for us to come and enjoy again in near future.

This place have amazing vibe. I would it have quality Indian food at fair price. One of major attractions is strawberry chocolate fountain. Loved the rasmali (Indian dessert), manchow soup and noddles. Try to reserve table in advance on weekend or comes before 12.30 to avoid wait time. If you are trying Indian food first or a seasoned Indian foodie this place won’t disappoint you at all.

Hi, based on many good reviews, I have decided to visit this restaurant today. I will start with cleanses that's was good washrooms were cleaned, and the ambiance was good, and the interior was also lovely even the owner was also lovely; he was greeting everybody with a smile. They have a good variety of starters, and the dessert selection was also nice. They had four main dishes in the main course, including butter/garlic naan and steamed rice. I would say the bread sandwich with green dressing was really nice. Samosa, veggie fingers & onion circles were okay. Thick greasy veg Manchuria and garlic noodles were fabulous must-try items. Dosa & sambhar were also tasty. And the Paani poori was also yummy and had two different dips. The soup was okay. I would say the main course was not that excellent bhindi masala & malai kofta were great in taste; however, panner makhani & yellow daal tadka were below average. The garlic naan was so good, crispy, fluffy & full of garlic flavor. Now dessert section, the ras-malai was a show stopper. I had two servings, they had Gulab Jamun it was okay and they Chocolate fountain too you can dip fresh strawberries that were something new for me in an Indian restaurant. And their rose lassi was delicious. If I conclude my overall experience, it wasn’t that bad. The only thing I would highlight It’s a little pricy. The buffet price is $20, and they added a tax & service charge too; the total was $ 24.47 for a one person. Which is a little expensive but the quality of the food was excellent. I don't mind going back again. It's worth it. And this is a genuine review, not sponsored.

Serving the people since past 17 years, I had the best vegetarian meal here in this country so far. Usually the restaurant only offers buffet. Started off with pani puri and the pani had a strong mint flavor which really made it amazing. The other stuff in appetizer like cheese pakora, samosa, batata vada, Mysore masala Dosa, spring roll were all awesome. When moving on to their entrées, had navratan korma and baingan Ka bhartha as haven't had these two in a long time. The spices added were of the right amount and this applied to each dish of theirs. The Manchurian too was amazing whereas it combined really well with the masala rice. I really wanted to try out their kofta but only the curry was left. The dessert section was mouth watering too. Jalebi was okay, but Ras malai, Gulab jamun stood out with the latter being served hot which is a rarity here. The malai sandwich was also great. The ambience of the restaurant is great with them having a Rajasthani vibe to the place. The service was decent as they only delivered the Dosa and roti to the table, rest all was self service. Overall a great level of satisfaction after dinner with the dishes being really authentic.

It's a good place when you go with a large crowd and if someone wants to eat many varieties together. Otherwise, there are better options for pure vegetarian lovers

The noodles and munchrium were amazing they were nice and spicy. And the taste was amazing too. The panner on the other hand lacked some flavor but it wasn’t bad. The onion rings on the other hand was awful it was too hard to bit into and had to chew a lot to get it down my throat. The strawberries at the fountain I found so of them in ripe and they felt like it was frozen. But over all it was good.

The best experience during our dinner buffet tonight.. Its been a while since I came to Chand palace for buffet but I feel nostalgic after coming here. This is one of the best Vegetarian Indian restaurant in and around Edison or piscataway. A wide variety of options for vegetarians and everything was tasty and fresh. Caution: go here with empty stomach and you ll enjoy every item. Dosas, soup and garlic naan were my fav. Starters were amazing as well. Was already full and couldnt try the rice items. Rasamalai and carrot halwa are good. Mango lassi is top notch. Dont miss visiting this place if you are vegetarian.

This is a great all-you-can-eat restaurant for those who are vegetarian or want to eat out with people with dietary restrictions. The selection is delicious and incorporates many vegetables. The food is smothered in rich sauces and the servers provided rich garlicky bread. If you are new to eating Indian cuisine, the servers can describe the contents of the food for you. The real star for me was the unlimited mango lassi. This can be a restaurant you attend casually for dinner or for larger parties, there is space for all.

One of the best vegetarian places in central Jersey. While buffet is great, they also have a pretty good menu covering north Indian curries. They do make curries and vegetables without onion and garlic upon request.

I am not a vegan but my daughter is. Came here for quick lunch buffet. Great food, plenty of spice, and nice desserts. Lots of Indian families eating here tells you it's authentic and well done.

Best option for pure vegetarian food. Only Pure Vegetarian food serves here. It's buffet lunch only. Price $ 30 is too high. We visit often and are always fully satisfied with quality and variety of food. Somehow, the last visit was not at par. Specially sweets. The Bengali Mithai served in the first and second round was unsatisfactory. Lack of varieties and quantity served on serving stand was not enough, and each time, get empty very quickly.

Rating my first visit to this restaurant- not an exceptionally great experience with the taste of the food. The staff is fascinating and friendly. The food quality and taste are not so excellent, though I would recommend getting a freshly made dosa, which is why it is an extra star. I will probably not list my favorite, but I will try to revisit another year if I do.

Chand Palace consistently impresses with the unwavering taste of their food, a quality I've experienced across multiple visits. Their commitment to maintaining flavor consistency is truly commendable. The restaurant's buffet offerings are a delight, even on weekdays, boasting an extensive spread that surprises the palate. On weekends, the selection becomes even more expansive, catering to a wider range of preferences. While Chand Palace's prices may lean towards the higher side, the delectable dishes and the sheer variety they offer make the expense worthwhile. The flavorsome journey through their menu, from traditional favorites to innovative creations, makes each visit a gastronomic adventure. The diverse options ensure that everyone, from the most discerning foodies to families seeking a satisfying meal, finds something to relish. Chand Palace's commitment to taste consistency and their ability to consistently provide an extensive buffet selection showcase their dedication to culinary excellence. Although slightly costly, the restaurant's memorable dining experience and broad array of dishes make it a worthy indulgence. For those looking to savor authentic flavors and explore a wide range of choices, Chand Palace emerges as a restaurant well worth frequenting.

The very best Indian around! Always consistent with quality of the delicious food and amazing service of the staff. Love coming here for lunch especially, but have done take-out a number of times as well. Owner us very friendly and you tell he takes pride in his restaurant.

I Ordered food for pickup last week and the food tasted horrible. I ordered chilli garlic fried rice and there was no salt but the color was so orangish with color added and there was no flavour at all. I ordered paneer capsicum masala and what do all think its a gravy right? But instead to my surprise it was a paneer bhurji with capsicum and it was so dead dry, couldn't eat with Naan and parata. The Naan was so fat, its was double the size that you get at a regular restaurant and nothing tasted good at all. It was such a disaapointment and for these days with the high prices, paying even a dollar for this food ordered was not worth it. I recommend not to visit to my friends around too.

We were welcomeed into a warm atmosphere and an elegant space. Early reservations are most helpful on crowded weekends! An extravagant arrangement of food platters awaits you inside. The food was deliciously crafted, as soft as butter, and simply exquisite. Their thoughtful and innovative dessert platter delights you with a wonderful variety of options, some cool and creamy, others soft and spongy. We were also able to find a fruit inclusive diet with a well thought out chocolate fountain and fresh, juicy strawberries! Overall, it is one of the best places for gatherings or trying out the Indian cuisine with it's simple and impeccable additions to welcome you to a wonderful new experience!
