The vibe and the view are so cool,but the music is too loud. Staff is very attentive. Food prices are reasonable. Happy hour offers are available. The restaurant is air conditioned,further a non air conditioned open area also there.

This restaurant is located on the rooftop of OGF mall and i recently went there on a Saturday night to grab a beer and also bought a hot butter cuttlefish. Both are reasonably priced and the cuttlefish was good. Some of the items on menu can be little pricey but overall very good.

Nice restaurant on the 6th floor at One Galle Face (Zone A side). Ambience and service is excellent and lives up to the franchise name. Staff is helpful and courteous, with very good customer service. Accomodating to needs of customer. Wide variety of food available. Portion sizes are good and there is choice of medium / large to order for most menu items depending on your need. From what we tried, the spaghetti was excellent, as was the grilled chicken. The fish and chips and fried shrimp could have had a bit more flavour, however it was cooked very well. Overall a good experience and would recommend . As it is managed by Cargills, many offers/promotions available for Cargills bank.

The food was tasty. The mayonnaise is the best. The non-alcoholic beverages were super great. Specially the pineapple sunrise. Do not buy wings. They are extremely small and not worth the price. So is the seafood platter. Not worth of 3500/-

This is an international joint that could be a notch better. The menu very clearly says ribs cooked to perfection as it falls off the bone. Well guess what. No matter how much I tried they did not fall off. That's a false claim which I do not appreciate. The place also needs to be dusted and kept clean. Several of the corners had layers of dust that could have been taken care of. We were served water in a glass that was definitely not washed. (See Pics) The quality of food was fairly average and would give it a 6 of 10. However hygiene could be a 3 of 10. Lots of scope for improvement.

This place is good for a special family night out or for a date. Also the bar is great if you wanna get going with the friends. It got both indoor and semi outdoor seating and the outside view is great. The only downside is that their prices are high and the portions seems to be a bit too small. But the food absolutely gives a punch to your taste buds. Must try their mix platter with beer. They server free bites if we buy a pitcher. Can get a bit crowdy in Friday and weekend nights but in the day time you got enough space and freedom. Recommended to visit. Must visit this place at around 5pm you can see a beautiful sunset.

I always visit when in SL (a fan). The one near WTC branch was my go to before One Galle Face Mall opened. In 2019 food was really good when I visited the mall branch but this year was a bit different. Back ribs was dry unlike last time, the whiskey based sauce was kinda watery and the balcony area where we ate was dirty with bird poop that has dried up and birds watching you eat looking like they are ready to attack if you don't guard your food.😅 Hopefully no one else experience/d this. Maybe it was just a mishap for me. I will still try next time on next vacay!

The overall experience in TGI Fridays was "meh" - not good, not impressive but also not bad. The sizzling food was actually sizzling and looked appetizing but did not live up to the hype. The service was good. The atmosphere was okay - it reminded me of an old brewpub.

Thoroughly disappointed with TGI Fridays. It was my first time, and I wanted to try something new. Food preparation nearly took an hour for a simple burger and another dish. When my food finally arrived. The beef burger patty was tasteless and bland, it was 2300LKR and tasted horrible. Presentation is not up to par for an international chain. Won’t be visiting again, and if you value your time and money - i won’t be recommending this place to anyone. The picture i uploaded, looks like I visited some small burger joint on Galle road, and not a well known international franchise.

It was my first time at TGIF. We went their one galle face restaurant. Ordered fried chicken pasta, garlic spaghetti vegetali, chicken pasta from their pasta menu, cappuccino, strawberry surprise from their non alcoholic beverage menu and fried mozzarella from starters. Fried mozzarella was my favorite. Lovely place with great foods. They have delicious pastas with vegetarian friendly options and so much worthy for the price.

One of the best restaurants in OGF regarding the view. Food were nice and served on time. Above from all, I loved the vibe there as the cafe designed with a sense of an old school guitar and includes many guitars and details about some legendary guitarists. All the guitar lovers should take a look here.

The place was crowded but fast service, we took November sea breeze and it was worth the price and the cranberry taste was upto standards and the potato wedges was a very large portion for the price. The Cajun shrimp and chicken pasta and the romesco grilled veg pasta were small portions but very fulfilling and worth for the price and very appealing.!

Living up to the TGIF standards in terms of ambience, cleanliness and service. Tried the chicken wings, fries and the potato wedges. Only the chicken wings were up to TGIF standards which was a bit disappointing. Felt the fried items were not satisfactory. The drinks were delicious and the service was friendly and fast. Indoor and outdoor seating available and the latter has a nice view of Galle Face. If fried food items are improved, would definitely give a better rating.

Food is not tasty and it does not seem fair with the price you pay. You can get a better tasty food and service from other similar restaurant or even from a star hotel restaurant. Service is poor and very slow even during non busy times. Orderded beverages with starter and had to wait about half n hour to get the beverage and then once about to finish consuming the beverage only got starters and the dishes were not fresh and tasty. Pina colada tasted like just syrup water. Chicken was cold and hard. Sauce was too sweety and the bolied vegetables seemed a little too burnt and got a weird taste. Burger cheese patty was too cold and you may loose your appetite when you take two three bites of it. Not value for money and too cold inside.

We were here on valentines day and service and food was great. We had white fish and pasta and brownie was so good. It was a pleasent lunch overlooking the under construction port city. We enjoyed our meal in the afternoon on the balcony with a refreshing breeze.

The quality of their meals have gone down since my last visit in 2017. I ordered the Ultimate Fridays burger and was greeted with a dry beef pattys inside an even dryer bun. Although the beef tasted alright, the overall experience was a disappointment. My wife ordered a chicken and shrimp deal but ended up with only a flat piece of chicken, 3 prawns and a less than tasty cucumber salad.

A nice place to hangout with friends. We ordered two dishes from the same pasta and however, when we got our meals we noticed that the dishes are different in taste, with my one being totally bland compared to the my friend's dish. When we informed this to the manager, he was quite apologetic and offered to provide us with another plate from the same pasta. He even provided us with a fries on the house till we get the next. The new dish came within 5-10 mins and it tasted even better than my friend's dish with extra cheese and seasoning! What could have been a bad experience was well taken care of thanks to the friendly manager. I would give TGIF at One Galleface 5 stars. The experience was really nice. Highly recommended.

I had a wonderful time in this restaurant with great ambiance and view of the Port City. The restaurant is located at the sixth floor in One Galle Face Mall. One can easily spend an entire evening at this place with your choice of drinks and food. They have some amazing sea food and chicken delicacies. The staff is friendly and attentive.

Well known food chain around the world. Vibes were really nice, although the food we had wasn't. Really didn't worth its price, which was really disappointing. Beverages were good tho. Although I have been to TGIF IN Sri Lanka and many other countries, again this is my first visit to the one in OGF mall. Located in a nice place where you get indoors and outdoor roof top view to the Galle face. Almost all TGIF is same, in many ways so I will try my best to summarize this experience. The ambience were good, but the seats were damaged, thought they could have maintained little better the benches at least. Prices are bit exorbitant. But had good environment and ambience, except for the damage cushions which are not acceptable for a place like TGIF. The theme and tab menu and most items are almost same with others, what I did notice was, the franchise might be owned by cargills as the local beverages and Branding was there everywhere and also notice cargills card promos for dine in. Anyway we ended up ordering a fish and chips and and a shrimp and chips, because I was badly craving those two. the food was good quality and taste wise. The fish and chips, the fish seems to be a good expensive fish and cooked to perfection, so tender, however the fries were bit over fried, would appreciate if they have a big a portion of tartar sauce, as it was not enough for the portion and I ended up paying more and ordering an extra tartar sauce portion. Even the fried shrimps were perfectly cooked not rubbery or hard, it was tender, however again had the same issue with fries and sauce. They had the kist ketchup bottle sauce on table, no malt vinegar or balsamic. I would give this place 3.8 out of 5 as I feel in order to get full marks, it should be reasonably priced, well maintained and consistency in the portions they provide, rather than serving partial of it properly and side or other half negligently like the fries.

Takes a bit of searching to find the place. The location and view is excellent! Food is very nice. Waiters a tad clueless, asked what the specials were and told that all burgers have an offer. So ordered burgers, ribs. Turned out only certain burgers had the offer 🙄. But the food was great. Drink sizes I think have shrunk. Food took a long time to come though.

It has been a downgrade since my last visit. I can understand why, with the current economic situation in the country. But the review has to be authentic. It's not the TGIF I used to love. I can't recommend the food given the price tags of these dishes.

I was a huge fan of old place, the one in front of World Trade Center. I always love their cocktails and burgers. Most of the time I ordered their beer pitcher and fried seafood plate. Highly recommend this place. Best place to enjoy your free time and drink and get drunk, even with family.

Great place for Western cuisine that tastes like it’s fresh off the Barbecue. The meat is tender and the glazes that they use bring phenomenal flavour to the dish. All this along with very friendly and enthusiastic staff makes this a great restaurant to go to.

This place is amazing ! Honesty the food is impeccable, everything we've had tasted was delicious (and the Jack Daniel sauce is a killer combo with the chicken and shrimp). The service, the ambience and everything about the place was top notch! Celebrated my daughters birthday on the 28th and it was an unforgettable experience. Everyone who came fell in love with the food and the restaurant. The staff was so friendly and attentive. Helped us in eveyway. I recommend everyone to check this great place out.

3 out of 5 dishes were sent back. Never gonna go back to Fridays and it's a disgraceful restaurant. Been here 4 times and all times has been under par. Eaten at Fridays in many countries and the food has been top notch. Sri Lanka hell nooooooooo. On the top things they are super expensive and tried to cheat us with over cooked rubbery Australian steak. It was all sent back. The only excellent dish was the buffalo bites which was juicy and cooked well. Food is not fresh over here. The manager agrees and knows the food is bad. This is a very badly managed restaurant.

Probably the worst food I’ve had for a while. The burgers were undercooked and the chicken was raw. The drinks were good and our waiter’s service was super! But the food was just terrible. Plus it wasn’t cheap either, 3,000 per head when no body finished their food was just not worth it at all!

Pub is very good. An awesome view on the rooftop of One Galle Face, in front of port city developments and Galle face. Friendly staff and good food for affordable price ranges. Pub will be closed at 2PM and re open at 5PM. Not a Busy place compared to other places.

First time experience to TGIF, the place was well maintained. Atmosphere was good and friendly staff with good service. The food was good and tasty but the portion sizes of few dishes were very small for the prices. Buffalo wings was tasty but just 6 wings with two celery sticks was a unhappy portion. The ultimate burger was awesome. Seafood spaghetti was very delicious but portion was very small. Overall we had a very good food experience. Bit expensive but Worth trying .. they serve beer and wine too.. bar closed from 3 pm to 5 pm all days..

The food was disappointing. We ordered the fridays burger, the burger had no sauce on it, bun was dry, only 2 small onion rings, 1 tomato slice, and 2 little gurkin slices. Then the French fries were already bit cold and not crispy. We wanted to order beer but local lion lager and Carlsberg was not available also all draft beer was finished. Don’t think we are coming back here.

I went to this place and had some pasta, beer, and beef and chicken burgers. The beef burger is not something I would suggest, but the chicken burger was excellent, and the pasta was decent all around. The vibe is very relaxed and pleasant.
