Colombo Rowing Club, established in 1864 has a prestigious history. It has been a cradle for many talented rowers since its inception and even after centuries, it still continues to be the best rowing club in the island.

A blast from the past! This historical place transports you back to the Raj era days. Typical British style club with wooden flooring and a fantastic well stocked bar. Service is yuck and polite . The walls are filled with memorabilia & photos of the by gone era. Competition scores line the wall. Food is good and overall a great place for a quite evening when in Colombo.

Old, prestigious members club in Colombo 2 area. Very close to Fort area. Beautiful location! Very good food . All beers 🍻 and hard liquor 🥃 available. Also they have a good selection of wines🍷 !

Members only club. Nice place to have drink and relax. This place is well maintained and clean.

Nice atmosphere and lovely setting. Beautiful colonial club house reletively well preserved. Delicious food with a wide selection to choose from but strangely not featured on the menu. So you hit the jackpot only if you persist and ask whether there are more items than are officially offered. But the helpful staff will let you know the unmentioned. Sadly though, the ladies toilet does not meet the expectations of such a supposedly prestigious club.

Members only well maintained place with nice view of the lake.

Not a member so can't say much about the club activities. Went there for a field trip and the place look very professional and clean. Has looots of boats and other equipments, clean bathroom/changing rooms, nice bar/pub and training facilities. Also there is a nice view form the deck

A great place to hangout for predrinks! The menu features a unique range of finger foods along with the usual crowd favourites (like hot butter cuttle fish)... Definitely the Go To spot in Colombo to get the old school English pub experience! Warning : shorts/slippers/sarong NOT permitted. It is a private members club and therefore will require you to be accompanied by a member. Cheers!

My Lovely Wife and I, now calling our selves "" Mannans " a family that's United in good and bad times, hosted a family gathering, and it's here my Friend Fajudeen played a vital roll putting together a sumptuous Dinner on the 6th August 22.Of course the Rowing Club, its management caring for the members " every move "" has always made our visits memorable.....Thank you...Pray Blessings ...Keep going.... The food and service was excellent as usual. Very few guests around but understandable since it was a Tuesday As usual the ambience and the view is remarkable

Country's only club dedicated to rowing. Beautiful location by the side of lake 'Berai'. Club house bar has historical theme with lot of wood. Limited parking within premises with prior approval.
