We visited The Lakeside on the 14th & 15th Jan for the long weekends to spend some relaxing time with family. Kids enjoys the pool the whole day. The food was amazing. Cleanliness is 100% and staff is very friendly. Everyone treat the place as their own home, so we felt the same and had a wonderful time. Evening time they arranged a Boat ride to see the sunset and it was so peaceful.. There were 4 kids and 4 adults in our team and all enjoyed the ride and also the late evening BBQ. All in all its a location suitable for all moments in your life. Birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, or a spend the day with family. Thank you team Lakeside..

From the entrance to the banquet hall,the garden,the pool ,the lake and even the restrooms offer you a classic vibe. I truly cannot recommend this place enough. The lake side is one of the best places in SL to visit and spend time. Beautiful location and relaxing atmosphere. Great place for photo shoots and video shoots of any kind. Wedding banquet hall and other arenas are ideal for your special occasions. Close to Colombo very eco friendly environment. Over all I enjoyed everything there but my favourite experience was the boat ride in the sunset.

They went above and beyond to accommodate our requests and made us feel like we were their top priority. On the wedding day, everything was executed flawlessly. The staff were attentive, professional, and ensured that everything ran smoothly. We were also pleasantly surprised by the complimentary facilities that were provided, which added an extra special touch to our day. One of the standout features of this location is the breathtaking view of the lake, which provided the perfect backdrop for our night-time functions. We toured many venues in Colombo | Nigambo | Gampaha, and as soon as we walked up to The Lakeside Gampaha we knew this was the one. From day one, we were treated like we would be spending millions when in actuality we had a very small budget. Kumara Aiya told us that he would somehow make all of our dreams for our wedding photoshoot will come true, even with the tiny budget we had. The entire planning process was a breeze. We had to do almost nothing except say yes or no. Kumara Aiya and his team as our coordinators, they did an AMAZING job. Everything went so smoothly. We never had to worry about anything. The entire day was perfect! We had so much fun, and we joked constantly that we wanted to get married every year! Thank you all for the perfect day! We highly recommend The Lakeside Gampaha.

Kumara and his families hospitality was above and beyond anything that my wife and I have ever experienced. This was a life changing trip to Sri Lanka and we learnt more about local customs and the Lankan way of life in 2 days with Kumara than in 2 weeks in Lanka. The venue is stunning – Modern, exceptionally clean and well maintained. This is the perfect wedding destination, with multiple options for entertaining guests. The lake is a magnificent photo shoot location with wildlife that brings the venue to life (frogs, turtles, lizards, squirrels, owls and more). The Bridal suite is premium hotel standard and there are lots of other facilities including outdoor swimming pool, conference room, ceremony lawn, pool room, multiple reception and banquet halls. On the 1st night we were welcomed by Kumara’s family, picked up from Colombo, toured around the village – enjoying national cuisine and the nearby town, I even got to make Egg Hoppers at a local stall. The night was capped off with a romantic, lakeside dinner on the Jetty where we could see the frogs by candle-light. The next morning, we were privileged to experience a Sri Lankan National photo shoot and the results are stunning. Kumara has a highly professional team that speak English and assisted us with getting ready and guided us on the shoot. They made the day so special and stress-free for us. We enjoyed many Sri Lankan dishes and sweets from the Sinhalese New Year celebration. Kumara and his family are also extremely community orientated– Running many local businesses and charity drives. A true self-made man, Kumara is such an interesting person to talk with and learn from. We hope to see you in Australia!! This is such a unique and highly recommended experience in Sri Lanka – A must do for anyone looking for a true adventure!!!

If you visit this piece of heaven you will witness one of the most picturesque views you could ever imagine. You have to go down a steep mountainous road to reach this destination. The architecture is amazing. One will never truly appreciate the beauty of this place without seeing it from your own eyes! We have travel for a get together. The place is so beautiful and amazing nature view . The experience we had with the location was amazingly wonderful. Fantastic & What a view. Really enjoyed the stay Naturally beautiful environment gave us a great experience. Lot of activities available, you may walk around, go to the view-point and watch around.Rooms with facilities meeting expectations.Good buffet with variety of food options. Staff is very friendly and supportive. We would highly recommend for anybody without hesitation.

The Lakeside is a beautiful place with picturesque views! We had such a great time here capturing memories for our son’s first birthday. He especially enjoyed playing with the friendly doves, ducks and chicken roaming around the gardens. The lush green grasslands overlooking the lake is my favorite spot that reminds me of The Little House on the Prairie! The atmosphere surrounded by nature is calming and soothing, quite a retreat to the soul! And I’m truly grateful for the kind and cheerful people at The Lakeside who are always eager to help with absolutely anything. My heartfelt gratitude to the management and their lovely niece Ama for being so gracious and wonderful to us.
