Takes a long time to see your case and also the police officers at the court talk to everyone as if they are all criminals / villains. I understand that no one goes to court unless there is a rule or law that they have infringed - but basic human compassion should be the bare minimum shown. Even those who are in the wrong have come and are facing their accusers.

The qazi court that never provides justice. Assistance of judge is very disrespectful for women who visit their office.

Horrible place. Old litigants need to climb two stories. No care for litigants. Fans are switched on only few minutes before the judge sits on the bench. Inhuman to the best

I was dissapointed to see a government office in such a prime location, an important icon, in a run down state. So much has to be doo/renovated. wish I could have got some photos, but I did not take the phone inside the premises.

Well? Do u wanna sit on some iron chair coverd in dirt well that's the only place you have sit and wait. Well it's outdated like most of government organizations also its like going back 90s kinda vibe with all those paper works and 0 computers no AC, unorganized documents and stuff, old designed building, very uncomfortable experience.

You are not allowed to take mobile phones in after the Easter Sunday attack. There is a lottery ticket seller just across the road, who will keep the phone for you for a fee of Rs. 30 per hour.

I was there in 1953. My ship docked there for a day. Two friends and I went to the Mt Lavinia hotel on liberty. W ordered beer. Guess what? They brought 3 bottles of WARM beer. YUK! We went back to our U.S. aircraft carrier, the USS Lake Champlain, headed for Korea. This country used to be called Ceylon.

Situated in front of the Mount Lavinia BreadTalk, if you are coming from Colombo wide it is 500m before the Mount Lavinia junction. The court complex is an old, dilapidated building. The Mount Lavinia District and Magistrate courts are in the same building. You may access the court offices from the gate in the later part of the building. The offices are open till 3’o clock only. No parking available.

Very primitive and no basic human requirements are met. No social distancing, no healthy or friendly environment. Heavily crawded and highly congested.

security doesn't allow you to go inside with bags or helmet. there aren't any place nearby to keep them safe. when i asked them about this problem they replied it's the rule. they can't do anything about it.
