Food is awesome, good vibe, cool place to chill out love it & value for money.

If I have to choose a restaurant to represent the city of Thalapathpitiya, this would definitely make its way to the round-ups. Nice decor and tasty food. The meat and seafood here are absolutely amazing. It would be a shame if you come here and missed them. 🥳Big fan of the Seafood and chilies chicken 🐓. Tinder and zesty. Even the side salad in the entry dishes are delicious. We had an incredible meal at Capital Tavern (Pub Restaurant & Bar) last week and I simply can't speak highly enough of the entire customer experience. A beautiful venue, friendly and knowledgeable staff and stunning food. I have severe dietary restrictions and Capital Tavern (Pub Restaurant & Bar) went above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating, making sure I was well looked after. This is hands down the best restaurant I've been to in Thalapathpitiya Area. Best Place to hangout with friends and families prices are also reasonable. Friendly customer service very helpful.

Really chilled place to have a few drinks. The food is good too. Went on a Friday night. It was fairly packed, with seating option both inside an out. The drinks selection was good and had a decent food menu too.

The outdoor seating facing the lake in a spacious environment is particularly attractive. The indoor ambience is more of a restaurant than a pub. Music is too loud thus, a conversation isn't possible when the band is playing. There is a manager, supervisor and decent number of other staff but, the level of service is way lower than expected from a 5* standard property.

I have been couple of times here. The service is awesome. Ambience is super. You can order from other restaurants too. The food is delicious and the portions are big.

It is an amazing place to satisfy anyone who like to eat. There are exotic dishes to select from various restaurants such as Thai, ceylon, western, Indian and Japanese. We tried Indian and Thai cuisines. Those were super tasty and so flavorful. Must try place. Location is ideal and away from heavy traffic. Ambiance is well maintained. Friendly and experienced staff delivering an amazing service to customers. Bit pricey but really worth of trying. High recommended monarch imperial to every one.

Location 5*, staff 5*, ambience 5* , only disappointment was the dish. I ordered a rib eye steak for 11,000/-, it was extremely small , over cooked and chewy. The steak should be at least 1" thick before cooking, but this was less than 1/2" after cooking. I suggest the management should show the steak to the customer before preparing, like showing a wine bottle before opening. It's customary in some restaurants for expensive dishes like imported steaks.

This is one of the few restaurants at Imperial Monarch, a perfect place for a gathering, amazing food and service. The vibe is so nice with outdoor seating by the lake.

We received an excellent service overall. Food is amazing as usual. Bloody Mary wasn't even in the menu but they went an extra mile to give me my favourite drink 😍 Thanks a lot...

This restaurant is amazing. The vibe and the music is what you need to end a busy week on a Friday night. The food is top notch. However the service could be improved as they took longer than we expected. This might be because the place was packed but who cares? They made up for it with their amazing food! Definitely gonna visit again. Highly recommended!!

Amazing, tasty food. The chefs here in Sri Lanka really know how to make all cultures of food. Ribs, sliders and bacon fries were SO good! Ate here with a chef, and he gave the food a 9/10. And when the weather is nice, it’s probably great to eat in front of the pond! Drinks were lovely as well.

Food is awesome & value for money and a good place for family dinners!
