So the owner contacted me because I wrote a bad review on my experience, now I’m getting ignored , I got a color correction on my hair paid over 400 got compensated for my 135 shirt that was ruined, but it looks like I’m going to have to pay for another color correction this is my hair after one wash and you can clearly see all the yellow and orange. I asked her if she can personally fix my hair or get a refund and she ignored me.

My life is busy. For me, I have try several hair salons in Shadyside, Pittsburgh before I decided to go to Whitehouse Hair Salon. I am very picky. I don't let just anybody touch my hair. They cater to what I need. I have being with them for while now. Definitely worth it. Just have my hair color and cut. Prices reasonable. Highly recommended.

I have finally found someone I can consistently count on for my hair! Selina is my hair bff - I have been going to her for over a year now and she is so detail-oriented, always checks in with you throughout the cut, and is seriously so kind. I have never been happier with my hair cuts. The salon is cute and clean, and the complimentary beverage is always a plus!

Paid $345 for highlights my hair is orange and grey I’m disgusted and would not recommend this salon to anyone it’s def a rip off I now have to go spend hundreds more to get my color corrected! I’m mad I have to put 1 star on this review it deserves a 0

Myra is a fantastic stylist. My hair always looks great after she’s done with me, and I get lots of compliments. She’s super knowledgeable and friendly, and she’s taught me a lot about how to take better care of my hair, and thoroughly answers any questions I have. I trust her so much I finally got some color done—the half-balayage turned out beautifully.

Selina has been doing my hair for years, and I highly recommend her! She’s helped me to get my hair looking healthier and my balayage always looks so natural. She worked with me around my wedding schedule to make sure my hair was the perfect length and color for engagement photos, the shower, and the wedding, and most importantly she is one of the kindest people and I always enjoying chatting with her!!

Selina is absolutely amazing, worth every penny!! I have never worked with a salon professional that could consistently deliver perfect highlights and results until I met Selina. Also, at my first appointment, she corrected a terrible mistake that a previous salon had made, saving me before a family wedding scheduled the next day. She takes her time with the details, no matter how packed her schedule. Kind-hearted and extremely talented, 100% recommend.

I initially had gone in the week prior and received a balayage that I was unhappy with. Upon calling the salon they offered to completely fix it for me with a new stylist. I met Myra and she was wonderful at explaining the whole process to me, I felt very comfortable and well informed. She took the time to explain what I should do differently to keep my hair as healthy as possible, and made sure to explain my hair texture to me and how to properly take care of it. This hair transformation was absolutely beautiful and I will definitely be coming back!

Valerie is my stylist; she is awesome! My balayage has lasted and grown out exactly as anticipated; I continue to get compliments. Christine is a wonderful stylist at Whitehouse as well! Both are great choices to book with. It is time for me to make another appointment and get fixed up for the holiday seasons. I will be seeing Valerie again!!!

Flo’s been my go-to hair stylist for 3 years now and I trust him with my life (my hair)!!! He’s one of the few hair stylists who really understand my thick textured southeast Asian hair, so I always know I’m in good hands when I go for my appointments throughout the year. Highly recommend for balayage and hair cuts that blend well when your hair starts to grow out after a number of months!

Selina is amazing! She takes into account what you are asking for and tailors it to your specific hair type and face shape to make sure you have the best cut possible. She is very detail-oriented and makes sure to check in throughout the cut to make sure you get what you are asking for. She kills it every time.
