I'm torn about this restaurant. I was going to give it a 4 stars. But after giving it more thought, I have decided to give it a 3 stars. If I compare their food to other buffet restaurants that I have been to, they do offer a variety of food (especially seafood) and the food was pretty good! I'm very impressed with their sushi options and their fried food. My main complaint is the prices - it's like $20 per person, and there's an $8 charge for not finishing your plate of food. Golden Corral and Fortune Star Asian Buffet don't have a surcharge if you don't finish your plate. I understand that the restaurant is trying to save food (and money) but that's a pretty steep surcharge for an already expensive buffet meal. It could be like $2 to $5 for the surcharge. Sometimes you pick something that you don't like, and it's not fair to force people to finish a plate of food that they didn't like.

Unpleasant dining experience. DO NOT RECCOMEND. It's an average Asian buffet, not a seafood buffet, as they claim on advertising. No friendly faces among the workers there. The food was cold, lacking taste and not fresh. Not much of a choice, also. They charge $23 per person for dinner, which is a robbery, in my opinion. Also, if God forbid you leave a food untouched, they gonna charge you an extra $8 for that, which is insane policy for a restaurant! They present themselves as a nice seafood buffet with cheap prices, but this is a lie, bluff. If it would at least be fresh and delicious, that would be another story. The only nice thing about this place was an atmosphere and nice windows with a mountain view. I gave a start for that. Keep away. Do not recommend this place.

Hokkaido Asian buffet has a huge selection of foods with a focus on seafood and other Asian dishes the buffet spans two walls of the restaurant and includes stations for salads, seafood and Asian delicacies, soup, hibachi station served by a chef who proposed your selected raw items on a hibachi grill, meat carving station, sushi, side dishes, and desserts. There are many non seafood options... chicken and beef dishes and even some pizza etc for the non seafood eaters. The price is reasonable...$21.99 on Sundays and lower during the week. They do charge an extra $8 for excess wasted food and have many signs encouraging you to only take what you can eat. Service is minimal as expected at a buffet. The food was reasonably good, somewhat better than expected for buffet style service with foods prepared in bulk and left on warmers. Mussels were great, crab legs just okay. I did find that the food quality varied from serving to serving depending on how long the food has been out.

OH EM GEE! I wasn't expecting all of this! It's a very nice and clean restaurant. Service was great, plates were cleared off almost immediately and the employees were nice. It wasn't too expensive for how much fresh food and different food bars, my boyfriend and I ate there and our check was $50. Muscles and sushi were absolutely amazing (fresh wasabi and ginger). All meats were tender and not dry. This definitely is a higher standard for buffet. Highly recommend.

Absolutely disgusting. There was mold on the crab legs they charge $8 a plate if they think that you wasted anything so yes it appears to be $20 but their food is absolutely gross they only offered us a $10 discount on a $50 check that we could barely eat one plate from. I know everyone's looking for a discount, but you at least serve edible food. please don't go here and feed your kids mold it is absolutely disgusting. I was a waitress and my boyfriend's father owned a restaurant and worked for USDA so we know what good and bad meat is and I never complained at restaurants because we both have dealt w it and tipped nicely. This kind of just blew my mind. the level of expired moldy food🤢 The inside was completely rancid. Photos of them trying to tell us it wasn't mold below .please, I would never take anyone there, let alone a child whether you eat crab or not once I saw how miserable the employees were and how they treat people-please don't waste your money and time.

The food was nice and hot!! The place was pretty full. Which was good, thats how you know they doing they’re thing!. They made sure too refill your drinks and they also got the plates right away… I wish there crawfish was A-Grade. That’s the only bad thing. Overall everything else was fine. The restroom was clean too that’s also a big deal to me.

Blandest Asian cuisine I think I've ever had in my travels across the USA. Even the "American" food they had on the buffet was bland. I don't consider myself a great cook or anything, but I prepare better adain meals at home by far. That's kinda sad. Staff was extremely friendly and courteous. Place was clean.

We usually have a great food experience when visiting. We went recently and found many of the options over done, dry, and flavorless. The butterfly shrimp coated in melted cheese still had the shell on it possibly fused to it. Idk.. for 65 bucks (2 adults 1 child) it's not an experience I'd want to have again. Service was great, friendly can't complain there.
