    Worst service- spent 200 USD on balayage and haircut to remove damaged ends..the hairdresser seemed to be in a hurry and didn’t bother to style it well.. I wanted more personality with my hair but what she did was just so plain and boring— very very very different from the references I showed and what I requested.. 200 bucks on this is just pinching me. Wish there was someone to fix it for me.. attaching before and after pics- one could just take a guess on which one was after pic :(

    Overall good experience. I used Groupon coupon and Marcos is my stylist. He listened to my requirement to not reduce length and do long layers and edges to be blunt(like trimming off my sharp edges). He does as per my requirement. I posted my before, after pictures below.

    awfully unwelcoming when I called the salon in advance to say I would be 10 minutes late due to traffic, the front desk lady assured me it would be fine. However, when I arrived, Mazie brought me back and told me that if I had came three minutes later, she wouldn’t of been able to take me, which is understandable. I know that they have a schedule to keep, but it was frustrating to hear that after I had already been told it was okay. As we talked about what I wanted to get done, and I showed her a picture and asked how many sessions it would take to get there she told me couldn’t do it when that’s not what i was asking she started to become passive-aggressive with me, and I felt very uncomfortable. I don't know if she was having an off day, but the way she spoke to me was unpleasant. When I mentioned that I had been to the salon before, Mazie told me that she couldn't do my hair because the groupon I had purchased was for new customers only. I wasn't aware of this prior to scheduling my appointment, and I was willing to reschedule and pay the full price, but not after that experience. As I was leaving the salon, one of the stylists asked if everything was okay. I just nodded and almost broke down in tears.

    I had a really bad experience. Sasha (front desk representative) is very rude, and condescending. I bought a Groupon for a full highlight, haircut, shampoo/conditioner. I have bought the Groupon one other time and only rebought it because Groupon said I could re purchase for myself and not as a gift! I genuinely had no idea it was just for a very first customer. I was not trying to cheat the system, and was noticeably very upset at the way Sasha was treating me. She told me that it was my fault, and her whole attitude towards me was very condescending and unwelcoming. She told me originally told me that the Groupon would not be honored and that I owed 187 but then said no, we will honor only what you paid for it and then you owe the rest. So, I paid full price for the Groupon, and then paid the rest of the 90 plus the tip I put down. Because of this experience, I will not be back. Sasha could have very easily went to the owner about this, It was an honest mistake and told me that next time I will no longer be using a Groupon. I actually found someone that I really like this time to do my hair, and would have gladly paid the money and been a customer for life! Sasha, instead, gave me anxiety and me feel less of myself because I could not afford that hair treatment. She is the face of this business since she checks in and out people. She ruined the reputation of the business for me completely.

    Stop making your patrons look bad on the news! Please, they look a hot mess with these hairstyles that you are doing. It's giving them no justice, the hair always look so frizzy, choppy, and dried.

    Mazie is an extraordinarily talented stylist, who is constantly learning and wants nothing but the best results for everybody that sits down in her chair. For several years, and throughout Covid, I cut my own hair. She has been the only person I have let cut my hair since I have stopped Doing it myself, and I love what she’s able to do. She’s driven, caring, honest, and considerate and you will not go wrong picking her as a stylist Oh, and Connor’s really cool too

    Friendly staff. Easy to schedule appointments. I saw Marcus. He did an amazing job with my cut and highlights. I would recommend Izzazu

    I had an amazing experience at Izzazu Downtown! I absolutely love my hair and I highly recommend Mazie! She knew exactly what I wanted and went above and beyond! I am in love with my new hair! I highly recommend going here.
