👍👍 Really wasn't expecting much but was surprised by how good the food was. Definitely get the wings. We tried the firecracker sauce and wasn't disappointed. The surfboard fries were also good. We got the chicken on the hill. There were huge chunks of blue cheese and the waffle fries weren't soggy. Goo... People often mention good, great, sports,

Really wasn't expecting much but was surprised by how good the food was. Definitely get the wings. We tried the firecracker sauce and wasn't disappointed. The surfboard fries were also good. We got the chicken on the hill. There were huge chunks of blue cheese and the waffle fries weren't soggy. Good for sharing. We also got the hot chicken and taco salad. Our server Jordan was very nice and even wiped off our wet table so we could sit outside.

Was enjoying the art's festival Saturday and wanted a cold beer being that they don't serve alcohol at the booths I was at a cross road with food and drink so I stopped in here and to my surprise not only the upstairs was place to go for dining and drinks but a place to enjoy a game bartender was attentive and service was good 👍 definitely like to come back.

Redbeard's was an awesome experience. We were with a group in the reserved area upstairs. They manage to focus on standard bar fare without too many frills to deliver just darn good food. There's nothing wrong with jazzed up and fancy food, but sometimes you just want a solidly good burger or piece of Chicken and Redbeard's delivers. In addition to good food the drink selections are decently sized and well rounded and the pricing is fair. Service was also excellent. Our son spilled his Froot Loops he brought to snack on and one of the employ offered to call the 7/11 across the street to see if they had more!! We hope to return to this location soon.

Place is still great even post pandemic. Love their nachos and wings. You can order 32 oz beers and it's got TV's to watch sports. My go to sports bar when I'm downtown.

Great little sports bar. Nachos were top notch and I highly recommend the "Full count" vodka based cocktails.

We wandered until we found Redbeard's. The food was fine the drinks were real, real good and the service was wonderful. If you're headed to Pittsburgh, check this place out! We had the nachos with chicken and it was tasty but the drink, I think it was the Full Count, was legit!

Service: 4 Food: 4 Ambiance: 4 Cleanliness: 4 We were wandering Downtown Pittsburgh looking for a place to grab an early dinner. We struck out at 3 other places on the same block (didn't have reservations) and ended up here as they were able to sit out table of 4 easily. Our server was no nonsense but friendly enough. Drinks came out fast and food did not take long either. We ordered: Perogies: App comes with 4 and they were hot, crispy on the outside with soft warm potatoes on the inside. Get it with a side of sour cream. Fish Sandwich: (pictured) this sandwich was huge!! The picture only shows half a sandwich as I forgot to take a picture before sharing half with my kid. The fish was crispy and flaky. Did not feel greasy at all! Hot Nashville Chicken: (pictured) huge piece of friend chicken with a peppery spice. Served open faced on a thick slice of toast. Burger: Nicely cooked, even with it being done Med-well, the burger was thick and juicy. Wings: lots of flavors to choose from... Bummed they didn't have the Honey Habenero. Garlic Parm and Redbeards sauces were good! Overall a solid 4 star restaurant for bar and American fare (and one with probably the cleanest bathroom I've ever seen in a sports bar!)

I always feel like reataurants downtown are either too dive-y or too fancy. This place strikes a nice balance between the two. The beer selection is solid and the sandwiches are surprisingly delicious. Every time I go here I'm satisfied by my experience.

Went before an evening at Heinz Hall. We had the pleasure of sitting inside, right next to the open front so it was the best of both worlds. Food came out quickly and was hot and good. I had a fish sandwich that was as big as the bun opened up, so I had it opened face with fish to spare! Fries were perfectly cooked. Waitress was busy and was still attentive and proactive on refilling drinks and checking in on us. Dinners were about $14 per person with good portion sizes and ingredients. Very enjoyable evening.

Been here twice since moving to Pittsburgh and the food has been amazing and so has the staff. Fun bar type atmosphere with dining in the back and the outside bar and patio is great. Try the Turkey Rachel and truffle fries…yum!

Stopped by for drinks before dinner. Service was fast and friendly. The drinks are reasonably priced. Looks lime a good place to hang out before a game.

We have gone to Redbeard's twice in the last month and I have never been before. The first time we were in search of food after 10pm and their kitchen was still open. We sat downstairs at the main bar. The food was good, the atmosphere was decent. It wasnt too crowded. The second time, the bar was alot busier so we sat upstairs. It's nice to have that option. It was less crowded, the bartender was great and it was still a good vibe. Food was good the second time around also.

I was actually pleasantly surprised by the food. Been passing by here every day for years. Saw it as a place to get a beer after work most likely but I came in for lunch and had some great food. I got their BBQ Cowboy style burger and it had great flavor. It was cooked well. Came with ample amount of fries.

We typically stop here before a show at the Benedum or Heinz Hall. We've had no trouble getting a table, though typically we go on a week night. The menu is limited but I always find something good. The burgers are especially good and usually so big I can't eat it all.

Delicious food, great seating outside, very nice owner, and great service. We tried the burgers, Fuji apple salad, and gyro. Some draft beers, fried pickles and poutine. Worth checking it out and enjoy their outdoor seating!

Very welcoming, great servers. We had the wings in the Redbeards secret sauce which was very tasty. Reasonable beers list and some excellent local sports memorabilia on the walls
