Large selection of unique and delicious food. The hub of comfort food! The place runs in a cafeteria style, have a seat at a table, grab a pitcher of water, and then start choosing your meal. The choices vary from breakfast dishes to deep dish pizzas. Delicious dessert, delicious salads, good sandwiches. The shops are all working quickly and it seems everyone is passionate about their food. They plate everything well even though we were during the lunch rush.

It was quite the trek to Federal Galley! I think we took a wrong turn and ended up coming through the parking garage, through offices, and then finally emptied out near the Federal. While potentially hard to find, once you're there, the food options were very impressive and the draft options even better. Definitely recommend swinging by!

Four of us went and had the best dining experience of the week. We had garlic cheesy bread, truffle fries, spicy Asian fries, veggie sloppy joes, vodka pizza, and gumbo. We also had a great hard cider called crack berry. Everything tasted great especially the vodka slice and the truffle fries. The ambiance was a little more fun night out with a big group and less date night, but it was still welcoming.

We visited here twice in two days, once for lunch and once for dinner. The service during lunch was not great. The staff was just sitting around talking and it took forever to get our food. The service was much better during dinner. The food was all good, especially the food from Driven PGH. The drinks were hit or miss. The vibe is pretty chill and a nice place for happy hour. I say, check it out!

I had no idea this place even existed. My mind was freaking blown when I entered. I felt like I was transported to Austin Texas because of the lively atmosphere and vibes. You may be overwhelmed by the abundance of food and beverage options. Choosing what to eat here is the equivalent of choosing what to watch on Netflix. You'll spend more time choosing what to eat than eating. 🤣 Place is packed during happy hours. Perfect place to bring guests or dates to impress them!

The Federal Galley, itself, is very nice. In and outdoor seating. Several TVs with sports showing. There's no loud music, so you can have a conversation. However, there are many people so the space is loud in general. I've gone twice and each time it was not hard for me to find a park. I believe there are three or four restaurants to choose from. I've eaten at two them, Given to Fly and Driven PGH. Honestly, Given to Fly was a let down. The chicken could have been cooked a little longer, the wonton fries were just okay (the main reason I went btw), and I ended up throwing away my banana pudding (really like a parfait lol). Driven PGH was good. The pizza crust taste like old school Pizza Hut crust. I love it! Crispy and buttery. Also, I saw an outside bar the second time I went. Overall, my vote is for you to try it. This is a nice place to go with family or friends on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon for lunch.

I visited this innovative restaurant incubator yesterday and was very impressed by the wealth of options (including how the menus were well marked for dietary restrictions and I was able to find gluten free options immediately), the warm and inviting atmosphere on a very cold Pittsburgh evening, and the speed with which my Hawaiian bibimbap bowl was delivered (it came out in just over 5 minutes). They have adopted a table numbering system where a server delivers your order to a table number you specify when ordering. The tables that were not in use were clean and appeared to have been sanitized. Families and friends were enjoying each other’s company, the football playoff game was playing on large mounted screens, and the vibe was really nice and chill. For those who are concerned about Covid precautions, nobody was wearing masks within their own social groups, and nobody asked to see my vaccine card. There were plentiful tables and room to socially distance between groups, however, and the cooks and servers do wear masks when preparing and delivering food. I highly recommend this wonderful place and will be back!

Really cool spot with options for four different cuisines and a bar - there is something for everyone. Nice open and clean space with indoor and outdoor seating. Ford and service were great.

Really enjoyed this place for a quick lunch with many choices for food. we ate at Shaka and had the spicey grilled chicken and the lemongrass curry Ramen and we loved both dishes. They were actually pretty spicy which is what you expect but don't always get. Would definitely got back to eat here.

Neat place! 4 restaurants in one and a bar. What is there not to like?! A nice crowd for the business lunch group and the post-Children’s museum squad. I recommend for a nice, fast meal. Oh it’s even better on a nice day and eat outside.

A great place to share lots of food options! Parking can be a challenge but there is a garage. The online ordering is really nice for getting something from multiple places!

I love Federal Galley. The food offerings are delicious. The variety is a good mix of cuisines. The atmosphere is bright, open, and clean. Staff is friendly. At least two dozen beers are offered at the bar as well as cocktails. I have never had an issue getting a table and have enjoyed dining inside as well as outdoors here at Federal Galley.

This place is great for drinks, dinner, happy hour or brunch. In the summer there is live music and outdoor seating that is rare on the Northside of town. I would recommend this to locals and visitors alike. UPDATE 11/2023 Rotating cast of incredible chefs keeps this place buzzing

We tried all the restaurants here and every single one is highly recommended except Given to Fly. The sauce was salty and not well flavored. The Korean sauce and Nashville ranch are bad. Plus they commit a culinary crime by putting sauce on the fries. They charged a dollar for mayonnaise and for a to-go box and the plastic.

Eatery with a bar and four food restaurants. Buzzing atmosphere with music and plenty of people, great for socialising. You order at the counters and they’ll bring you the food or you can scan the QR code and order from your table. Got the Truffalo chicken sandwich. It was OK, I like blue cheese as much as the next guy but it was so loaded up I could taste anything else. Fortunately I could remove half of it and it balanced out so I could taste the the Truffle and Buffalo flavours.

Decided to check this place out during my art ventures in Pittsburgh and it was okay overall. I wanted more variety in food options but it was simply small in selection. Service was cool. Loved the water and plates with silverware provided in the seating area. The food was basic American food with decent fries. Get there early because tons of young families come on the weekend and seats go fast.

Drinks not posted, just ok. Meal was good. Keep the outside area stocked with napkins, and cold glass bottles of water, put them in a champagne bin at least.

Love this place! Having so many options in a dining hall is a killer idea. We ate at Given To Fly which has possibly the best chicken sandwiches in the city!

This was a unique surprise in downtown Pittsburgh near the Children’s Museum. A spacious food court with five unique eateries that serve interesting and tasty food. A bistro, an Asian fusion place, a pizza place, a sandwich place and a pub are housed in this place that seats a couple hundred folks. We tried the Buffalo cauliflower, the cheezy cheese steak sandwich, a vegan poké bowl, a Chicago style pizza, a unique lentil, goat cheese and French fry appetizer and a vegetarian sloppy Joe. It was all yummy. You’ll pay food truck prices for these goodies, but worth it!

We went to Federal Galley on a Saturday night after looking for food options on the North Side. It has plenty of space for small and big groups, and we didn’t feel that it was packed. Each one from our group ordered from the four options and the consensus is that everything was great. Music was a bit loud in my opinion, but that’s the only thing I noticed.

The open space was clean, welcoming and not crowded which was nice. The QR code table method for ordering was quick, easy and brilliant. We got food from Provision PGH, more specifically; -The pork belly sandwich; amazing flavor and perfectly grilled pork belly. This sandwich did not disappoint, every bite was packed with amazing flavor and they do not skimp on the pork belly! -Sloppy Joe Fries; Sloppy Joe meat had great flavor and the pickled peppers added a great flavor to the dish as well. The Fries themselves could have been more crispy, while they consider this dish a "poutine" the cheese curds felt lost in the ingredients, and there were a lot more fries than toppings on this dish. We also got food from Driven Detroit style Pizza, more specifically; -Burrata, pesto and tomato jam appetizer; Everything about this was delicious. You get a whole ball of burrata with this sweet and acidic tomato jam with some pesto and grilled crostini. The crostini was delicious by itself so you can only imagine how delicious adding those other components were. The burrata was fresh and soft and everything was paired well together. -Vodka Pizza; I've never had Detroit style pizza before but I was absolutely blown away. First off, the piped warm ricotta was a game changer. Secondly the pizza itself is like a thick Sicilian square style pizza and I was so pleasantly surprised to see that instead of a normal dough crust it was a crust of cheese instead. Hands down the best pizza I've ever had. I'm low key sad that I don't live around here so I can't get it regularly.
