Overall not a bad hotel - nice location, in walking distance to sporting arenas and restaurants. My biggest complaint was the parking. The hotel's parking garage was "full" unless you were a Hilton Honors Diamond member. Because we were not, we had to park in the lot across the street. We had to lug all of our luggage through an office building, around the corner and down the street. It was a giant pain and we arrived frustrated, and then were greeted by unfriendly check-in staff. The room was fine and the location is nice, so I would probably stay here again if in town, but the parking is awful. Also super annoying that you have to be a Diamond member to park in the lot when it's busy.

Not happy the front desk was unhelpful in every way. We checked out of the hotel and I left something behind and had to re park the car in the extremely tight car park. I asked the front desk to revalidate my parking ticket and the idiot refused, stating that I am no longer a guest. I was only checked out for hotel by 10 minutes. Talk about money grabbing. Stay away from this place if you would like a nice peaceful stay

I stayed here once and the area as well as the hotel was great. I really enjoyed the local park-watching the barges and across the river the trains moving back and forth. Hotel was superb. I wasn't there but a couple days on business. Oh and loved the sandwich shops where everything is placed into the bun- fries and all :)

Great location and great service. The location downtown is great because it's right in the middle of everything, so places are just a short walk away. I also love how Market Square is nearby, with discounts at restaurants for being a hotel guest. In general, just a great place to stay at!

The location of this hotel is perfect! It's located right in the center of things and within walking distance to restaurants and parks. My room was on the 10th floor with easy access from the elevator and a nice view of the city. The bathroom has been updated and was very clean. My only complaint is that they put the ac/heat unit under a window that has a bed pushed up against it. So the room was extremely hot even though the ac was set to 65. I had to buy a fan in order to stay cool while in the room.

The rooms were fantastic and the windows/view were great as well. Only problem was the service. We came during an event and there was no parking for hotel guests, leaving us to walk almost 2 blocks away and walk back and forth through our trip.

Room was fine, location was great. However, if you have Hilton Honors elite status (gold or diamond) don't expect the usual (and stated) benefits. All you get is bottled water, no free breakfast or meal/drink credit. I've spent well over 20 nights in Pittsburgh this year at other hotels and thought I'd try this one. Don't think I'll book here again.

This is a wonderful hotel. Perfectly situated on Forbes and Market. I stayed on the 11th floor, corner, and the views were incredible. I wanted to add that my stay here was beyond comfortable and the team here were kind, friendly, helpful, and attentive. I will stay here again! You cannot go wrong staying here, convenient to everything. Make sure to eat at Revel, you won't be disappointed.

We had a junior suite. The suite was spacious and gave my 17 y.o his own space. The first day there was terrible sound in heat/ac unit. But No maintenance on staff so nothing could be done. Restaurant/ bar closed day of arrival for lack of staff. Parking is not the hotels. It's a public parking lot next to the hotel. The hotel itself is very clean and so are the rooms. Since so many amenities not accurate will try another hotel.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is great but mind the parking situation. Paid parking garage is adjacent to the hotel. Walking distance to most things you need, bus stops are close. Overall very pleasant

The rooms were clean. But sadly they did not know what they were doing. Seemed the manager had changed recently or something like that. The front desk people (two separate) did not know most of the answers. For example, we asked for coons for laundry and the front desk person seemed to not even know if they have it somewhere or not. Or we asked for the restaurant and it seemed that another front person was trying to open the door to the restaurant but couldnt. He was very surprised. He told us breakfast is from 7-11 but it was 7-10! Later we found out restaurant was closed at the time due to gap between lunch and breakfast. Anyway, not the best experience!

Hotel was great! Nice staff, great location, and is clean and comfortable. Parking garage is attached. It was a little challenging to maneuver through (especially if you have a large vehicle), it was convenient. We especially enjoyed having a microwave in the room. The only reason I gave it a 9 instead of a 10 was because the room was on the smaller side and was a little tight. I'd definitely stay again.

Stayed to see phish and took the rally bus to the shows at star lake. Great location and walking distance to pizza at 1 am. Coffee steps away and quiet clean room. Thank you! Only thing I would recommend is fixing the handlebars on the peloton on the bike in fitness center. Pretty loose.

Great location, comfy beds. Pillows flattened out to folded wash cloth flat....that was off putting. But they were nice enough to give us extra pillows. Cannot beat the location!

I'm not really sure why this hotel has such high reviews. It's pretty standard, but without a pool, bar, or dinner restaurant. To be fair, there's a restaurant that serves breakfast but it's only open in the evening on certain days of the week. That's ok, because there's lots of other food options in the area. The walkability is great, it's in the center of everything. The safety in the area is questionable, though. Lots happening around Market Square. The rooms are clean and up to date, which should be the standard, and the views are ok. Several times, there was no one at the desk when I needed assistance, because they were hanging out in the back, but overall, very friendly staff. Overall, I would probably try another Hilton brand hotel before coming back here, but it's a safe, mediocre bet.

I often get asked how I find such deals. The secret's out: ʜᴏᴛᴇʟᴅᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ This stay? A testament to their awesome comparison features. Great location and great service. The location downtown is great because it's right in the middle of everything, so places are just a short walk away. I also love how Market Square is nearby, with discounts at restaurants for being a hotel guest. In general, just a great place to stay at!

Location is great. I chose this hotel for a very quick overnight stay because I had an incoming flight arriving late and needed to catch a train out in the morning. Figured it was better to stay downtown than to have to deal with traffic in the morning. My digital key didn’t work at the front door, the music in the foyer was so loud I couldn’t hear the person at the desk through the intercom, so it took a few minutes for them to let me into the hotel. I was in a walking boot and on a knee scooter, carrying luggage, so I’m not sure why they wouldn’t just open the door. And in spite of the fact that I was struggling (a lot) to get around, no one offered to help me in any way, even though there were two people at the front desk and I was the only guest in the lobby. My room was…ok. Mostly clean. Difficult to navigate with the scooter (barely enough room to move between the foot of the bed and the counter with the TV, and definitely not enough room to turn around). The mattress cover on the bed had blood stains on it, the wifi didn’t work, and the counter was dirty, with hairs and something vaguely sticky on it. The TV thought it was 12/31 at 7pm for some reason, so the guide was useless. I was only at this hotel for 5 hours, and I will not go back.

Stay here while I was in Pittsburgh on business for the Pratt Family. Brought them a stage so they can have their reggae rock relief concert. Love the hotel, all employees were absolutely fabulous, and the Pratt Family is second and none

I have stayed at this hotel several times in the last few years, many times renting two rooms. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn this past weekend and my daughter left behind $120 pair of l running leggings. We called the moment we arrive home. Housekeeping cleaned out the room, and new guests checked in. They couldn’t find my daughters leggings. The front desk clerk could not cared less. I guess it is OK for staff to take guest’s belongings. We won’t be back.

First time staying at this location in Pittsburgh, and the area was great, a lot of choices for restaurants and things to do within a short walk. They do have parking, but because the parking is shared with other businesses in the block it is very limited. The room was very nice for the one I picked through the app. We did arrive 20 minutes prior to check in and I asked if possible could we check in and I and to press the front desk clerk to call and see if the room was ready since we had just drove in from out of state. Thankfully one room was ready and by the time we parked our other room was finished being QC’ed. I’d the rooms weren’t ready it would have been fine, but it shouldn’t have been that hard to find out where they were at since it was almost 3 and we pre-checked in. I like the location, Market Square is fantastic, would recommend if you want to be close the the Strip District and other attractions in the area.

Love HGI... staff was friendly and the room was nice and clean. The festival outside the hotel was an extra bonus.

Fantastic room, especially the shower! The staff was friendly and parking right next door. I got a late checkout without issue.

Great downtown location. Room was clean but basic. A few minor glitches (no phone cord, coffee machine was not functioning well, armchair was missing a cushion) but I would probably go back there again.

Very nice hotel, comfortable rooms and great staff. Parking available next door. Washing machine and dryer payable with quarters on the second floor.

Decent hotel. Restaurant is expensive so be prepared. Outside of the hotel is Market Square, full of restaurants. Gym is limited. Parking garage is small.

This hotel was and the perfect spot for me. It was only a 20 minute walk from PNC park. Also located right next to the market square. It was also awesome because of the festival on the street. I would recommend this spot to everyone.

Great location. We came to see Metallica at PNC Park. Walking distance to the venue. Jessie at the front desk was very efficient and extremely welcoming. She is a big plus for the hotel. Can't say enough good things about her. We would definitely stay here again.
