We had our wedding reception at Ile Des Deux Cocos in December 2022. We couldn’t have hoped for a better experience. The team were very hands-on, everything was managed immaculately. We were allowed to keep several of the on-site games open for our guests, including archery, which everyone loved. Chef Subash was fantastic and went out of his way to create a delicious all-vegan menu at our request. We spent the night in the villa on the island, which was a magical experience and one of the best hotel stays we have had. Special shout out to Stephan for co-ordinating the reception, and even making sure we had 5* noodles after midnight when all our guests had left and we were hungry! And to Jotee for making our stay at the Villa so memorable! Ile Des Deux Cocos will always hold a special place in our hearts and we will be returning at every opportunity.

Nice place to spend a day lazing in the sun. Visited for a corporate team building event. Food was okay and the water facing the north side of the island is crystal clear. Saw some red crabs on the rocks protruding from the water at low tide.

Absolutely amazing experience, with fantastic service and incredible food. The whole family enjoyed spending the day on the island, with snorkeling, a little hike and some activities. Even though it was overcast, it was still a magical day. Highly recommend taking time to visit.

We did a day trip here and it was wonderful. Included in the price was a snorkelling trip of 45 minutes to the Marine park (which you can reach from the beach if you are an accomplished snorkeler). The bar is open, and the lunch buffet is very satisfactory with a variety of foods for all palates. Pamper yourself for a day here. And don't forget to tip the often low wage people who make your day awesome. With prices at 3500 MUR for adults, this can seem steep for Mauritian standards. And it probably is. I thought it was worth every penny.

A beautiful place to stay and visit even if it's a private property. Owner is the Lux. You have a restaurant on the beach for residents. You can walk on the beach and swim for free. Access is possible from blue bay with boat.

Didn't use rooms but very nice place, very good hospitality displayed by staffs all throughout the day, very delicious foods and nice drinks. Highly recommended.

This page is in a cost of its own. Private island with private villa, private butler, private chef, etc. From 4pm the island is yours. Amazing experience

Staying on an island in a vintage villa when you have the whole island to yourself is the best experience one could have. The service was amazing, the snorkeling with fishes was out of the world. I loved the campfire they set up for us post dinner.

Good place but a bit time waste

We visited this island as a day trip and were blown away by the friendly staff team - they made us feel incredibly welcome and ensured that our day was very special. The food and cocktails were outstanding, and everything was served with a friendly smile and conversation. Likewise the cool blue waters and variety of fish we saw while snorkeling made the trip memorable. A special place - definitely to be recommended.

What a fantastic day the family and I have just had on the Lux private coconut island. The island is just lovely with great geography and a chilled beach club atmosphere. It is really close to the amazing Blue Bay snorkeling area (circa 200 metres) and all equipment is available of you don't have your own. The service and the lunch are really where this island adventure really excels. the drinks and food staff could not do enough for you with an array of lovely cocktails and a really good buffet lunch cooked to perfection. I particularly loved the langoustine with garlic butter sauce. During lunch there is a musician who will play your favourite relaxed classics on his guitar and harmonica and we even had a little sing along to Hey Jude. A walk round the island after lunch is also a must, allowing you to see both the adillic tropical bay and the impressive rollers hitting into the reef. All in all, if you get a chance to visit, I wholeheartedly encourage you to do so. Have fun!

The most amazing experience I ever been through. Already amazed by the mesmerising beach and fascinated by the surroundings, the island tops it all off with such amazing service in terms of care and love and respect. The food buffet was so fabulous, me a vegetarian , they had 4 to 5 options but they kindly showed me so much affection and help by offering me to make fresh items on the spot of different extra varieties for me. Even the drinks and mocktails were really unique and satisfies your thirst in a happy way You Cannot Miss This At All 10 out of 10

Tearing up upon leaving... that's how much we loved being there. From the deliciousfood (😘 Chef Soubash), the loving care of Ravi, Mike's friendliness (and the drinks 🤪), Jyotee's softness 🙏 , Stephan's kind attention and Basile's jolly attitude and all the others in hiding making our stay memorable. Really worth the weekend ☀️. Perfect place for our family to discover and enjoy.

An absolutely amazing day on this island. The staff was the nicest ever. As well I enjoyed the food!!!! Especially the beef was prepared at the grill and the taste impressed me a lot. I was enjoying a lot. ❤️🇲🇺🐠

Coral reefs, fishes, turtles, snorkeling and blue sea at its best. I fell in love with this place.
