I’ve been coming to capital nails for years and is the only place I will get my acrylics. The place is clean and service is amazing. Kevin takes his times and will not let you leave unless your nails are perfect and exactly how you want them- the pictures speak for themselves!

I have been here before, so I knew from that experience what to expect. I got there a few minutes after opening. I was greeted by the Owner & seated for a gel pedicure, immediately. The young lady that did my feet, did an amazing job! No bleeding toes whatsoever like other spots I have been to. She cleaned up my cuticles, filed my nails like I requested, under the nails & removed any ingrown nails she found. She was careful, delicate, to be honest she moved so efficiently I was unaware she actually worked on my feet. She’s mastered this craft! I was in & out before the time on my meter was up! That’s under an 1 hour. The place is clean & spacious. My advice: walk with cash, even the Owner recommended it to avoid the fees. It’s been a week and a half: polish in tact, heels still soft and smooth. I’ll be back

I went to this salon today after booking an appointment. I scheduled for a "soak off" and a full acrylic set. To start with the positives, the place and environment is very nice and they have great music and my nails ended up very nice. However, the process was painful to say the least. Like I said, i scheduled for a soak off however there was no soak off; instead the lady used a cuticle scraper, an extra nail, and cuticle scissors to remove the previous nails. It was extremely painful and you could tell they didn't care about the health of my natural nail. After the nails were basically ripped off, she started the full set. I felt uncomfortable about the health of my nail and asked if it would be safe for acrylic to be put over very damaged nails and she said that the pain is temporary and continued the set. All in all, the process was very painful and after I take off this set I am going to have to give my natural nails a very long break to gain strength and health back. I’m not quite sure if I will be coming back. Because though the results are nice, the integrity of my nails were severely compromised. *updated my previous set was not lifting at all, the nail tech was struggling to get the cuticle scraper under the previous set and my natural nail would not look the way it did if my nails were just ready to “pop off.” I understand that I could’ve gone to the manager right away and I should have however the nail tech should always have the integrity of the natural nail in mind and that was definitely not the case. And I think that the response of the pain is only temporary is ridiculous and unprofessional.

I go here every month. Best for my gel manicures and they take their time on you! Love that.

I would not recommend anyone going here. I went here recently to remove my acrylic nails and before sitting I asked the price and the gentleman looked at my nails and said it would be $10, after getting my nails removed the guy charges me $15. I asked him why is he charging me $5 over, he said "because $10 is to rip off your nails, which would cause bleeding, so we have to use acetone to dip your nails". If this was the case to begin with, then why didn't he tell me the correct price when I initially asked? I simply don't care that it was only a $5 difference, but for the fact he was so unprofessional about it really tipped me off. Hence, he has lost a returning customer.

I've been on a search for a good, reliable nail salon in the area, and this is the one for me!! They are accommodating and so friendly! Clean environment. Comfy chairs.

I brought my tween daughter and son in last week to have their nails done prior to our vacation. My daughter received a gel pedicure which didn't even last 4 days they're chipped up and peeling off. She also had very short acrylics applied and 3 nails fell off. They charged me 90 dollars for her nails and pedi combined she didn't even get a design but they charged an extra 5 dollars because she wanted a different color on each of her nails. My son only received a basic mani and pedi he didn't get his nails buffed and no clear polish and was charged 50 dollars I thought that was but much .(FYI I had the same service performed at a different location and my daughter and I have experienced the same activities and my nails still look great)

Amazing Salon!! I love my experience when I come to the salon and I leave satisfied everytime! Great quality nails and Nail Artist Kevin puts a lot of hard work and care into his work for his clients! I will always recommend them.

They don't do a good job of cleaning your fingernails, I didn't like the experience.
