I've been wanting to try this place on my visits to daughters house, just the name is enticing. So my 4yr old granddaughter and I did. I had the pig in the blankets, sausage wrapped in a pancake and a side of 2 scrambled eggs, that serving was huge, come to find out, the eggs are dbl yolkers! It seems you never get enough eggs. We also ordered the kids menu, hot dog n french fries! Those fries were a big serving! Wow. I'm so glad I finally made it. Very friendly staff!

Mike had typical 2 egg breakfast and I tried the wrap with a side of fruit. Most times a side of fruit is a little cup with old fruit but not this one. It was a plate with a small bunch of grapes, a few strawberries, a slice of pineapple, a slice of watermelon and honeydew. Everything was delicious!

Friendly staff and fresh food! Walked in first hour they opened so crew was still cleaning up but got me situated quickly. Ordered Skillet based on recommendation and it was exactly what I needed with fresh coffee! Definitely will be back!

Hostess wearing mask around her neck while seating and serving us several times. I made it a point to put ON my mask, she continues to return without a mask. The number of people she sees all day, this is a problem. Shes "got 5 tables" all no mask. Food might be ok idk, but I wont be back. Also FWIW, the coffee is pretty bad honestly. I was looking forward to the "Diner coffee" idk y. This stuff was phewwww not good. Stick to Southern Belle. Food update: Coffee gets poured all over the table as she fill ours drinks. My skillet was poor honestly. Mushy. My wife has large egg shells in her egg. See photos.

Food was really good service not so much. There may have been a mix up with wait staff and they were apologetic for it. I'll definitely come back again and I recommend the Farmer Omelette topped with Sausage Gravy!

I’ve driven by this place several times over the past few years and finally went this morning for breakfast. We got there a little after 7am and it was not too busy. It started to get busy when we were leaving around a little after 8am. There is tons of room to spread out in this restaurant and you do not feel like you are right on top of one another while you eat. They have a large menu with tons of options. I do like that they have a lot of build-your-own options for their selections. I went with the build-your-own breakfast skillet with hash browns, 3 eggs, breakfast sausage, green peppers and onions with a side of rye toast. They give you large portions for your meal and that was across the board for all our meals. Food tasted great and service was great, as well. I’m glad that we finally made the trip here for breakfast and we will be back again soon. Enjoy!

They have delicious pancakes and that’s all out of everything I have tried. I just spent $20 on baked blueberry french toast and I have no idea what I got this. This tastes and looks nothing like french toast. I’m extremely disappointed to say the least.

This place is one of my favorite restaurants because my dad works here and I come here like 2 a year. My dad is the top chef there,he always gets me what ever I want. My dad let's me go in the back where the chefs are and plus the chef are all Mexicans. This place is best

Restaurant was a little chilly and waitress was in a hurry. Atmosphere was mostly quiet and comfortable but a little cluttered. Food was excellent, extensive menu, prices were reasonable, big portions. They were accommodating to a couple of special requests which was appreciated. Would definitely go again.

Food was not good. Burger was supposed to be medium rare and was well done. And it tasted like something you get from the frozen section of the store. The eggs with green Chile was bland and the refried beans looked like institutional mashed potatoes. The fruit punch tasted like something left out on the bar for a day or two. The service was mediocre and the food was definitely not worth the price.

Server was excellent. The food was subpar. The biscuits and gravy wasn't very good. The pancakes was burnt and hard. The hash browns was bad. The hearty omelet was decent and so was the French toast. The food was alot better under blueberry hill Cafe. I wasn't happy with this place and I don't think I'd recommend it at all.

Food was great, coffee is PHENOMENAL!!! Food came quickly on a mid-Sunday morning but the service was ehhh after the food came. The waitress came around numerous times to refill the coffee but one member of our group had a coke and each time we asked for a refill on that the waitress would forget. It wasnt extremely busy either so a bit puzzling. Of course I'll be back but I hope we can get that coke refill in a timely manner next time.

The wait to be seated was only 5 minutes. The server took our order right away. The food took awhile to come out. The server went mia for a bit. And the food quality was okay. Nothing good or special about the place. Definitely a last resort spot for me personally.

One time my order was ready. I called like it says but no answer. It always busy inside why I pre order to pick up. Need to get that online order thing working please

I dont understand why they have people waiting to be seated when empty tables are available. The floor staff needs training in about every aspect, the hostess was wearing sweats, the staff confused, the bus boy very slow with his loud cart splashing stuff in the bins everywhere. I got a bit nauseated when he rounded the corner and splased a couple drops on my table. The coffee creamer on my table was spoiled and the coffee has a weird taste to it. The over medium eggs are completely lacking flavor...how does one DO that? The hash browns have no seasoning at all and are way under cooked...not even a tan color. Prices are rather high the other places nearby are much more reasonable.

Lovely restaurant, great menu, wonderful, friendly service! The amount of food is quite large and the prices are very reasonable. Great place for breakfast!

..restaurant is no longer Blueberry Hill Cafe, it's been Big Apple Cafe for awhile now..it's clean and there's plenty of room/seating..our waitress was attentive to us although she seemed to be in a hurry everytime she came by, didn't think that it was that busy..food was "okay", hashbrowns were undercooked imo..overall, a pretty good experience..we've been before and will probably go back again sometime in the future..

Service is good even though they are short handed. Food was good and on time. We always stsy to long to talk after our meal but i tip big so hopefully that helps. No complaints here other than waiting to sit but that's the sign of a good busy restaurant!

The food arrived warm, even the hash browns was cold. I want be going back.

Great food and service and decent prices. Nice kids meals too. Be prepared to pay your bill and be out of there about ten or fifteen min till two. They do not want people actually leaving by 2 pm.

Your perfect neighborhood diner with great staples and a couple of hidden gems. I got the California skillet and loved it! Great savory and filling dish. I got 3 meals out of it. 🤤

Unfortunately I thought this breakfast place was going to be good..very disappointed with service food and cleanest …. First and last time here.

  • 2/5 Nicole D. 5 months ago on Google
I've had this place a lot of times but it seems like everytime the portion is smaller. I did a build your own skillet and all I get is onions, sausage and cheese and I think there was more onion than hashbrowns. It was also 17.00, which is absurd for what I got. So that will probably be my last time going. I gave 2 stars because the lady at the drive thru window was super nice

The skillet I ordered hash browns well done. They came raw! The pancakes were ice cold. The waitress Rhonda asked if everything was okay or checked to see if we needed more drinks. We won’t be going back anytime soon.

Walked in got sat down, orders quickly, food came quick but after food was delivered waitress never stopped by to refill drinks. Omelet was over powered with onions. They were prepping for a party of 26 instead of taking care of their current customers. This was not the place that I was originally looking at for breakfast. This is NOT the Blueberry Hills Cafe!

My family and I love this place! We've noticed significant improvement in the quality of the food since the transition from Blueberry Hill to Big Apple. For example, the veggie omelette and skillets are soooooo much better. I can see char marks on the fresh broccoli and now there's spinach! Everything has texture and is fresh. In the past it seemed Blueberry Hill just dumped frozen veggies on the griddle and they served up a mushy lump with eggs on top. If anyone is on the fence about trying this place, don't wait! Go now!

This place has a new name. It's now called 'The Big Apple'. We both enjoyed a very large mushroom, swiss cheese omelet. The coffee was good and the waitress kind. This was our second visit to this place.
