Wait time - 5/5 Customer service 5/5 Atmosphere - 4.5/5 Cleanliness - 5/5 Taste 5/5 Cost - 4/5 While in Plain View, New York I recommend stopping into The French Workshop for a tasty/relaxing treat. Upon entrance into the bakery, you are greeted by well maintained and cleaned glass displays which showcases their large variety of pastries and foods. This is followed by a green house styled kitchen which allows you to watch their culinary staff making and baking these delicious treats. Their crème brûlée was outstanding as it had a crisp brown sugared top layer followed by a creamy custard base. Their Opera layered cake was perfectly soaked in coffee and yet had a light and airy texture. The Iced Nutella coffee was a nice addition to the pastry mixture as it was sweet with hazelnuty goodness. Not pictured was a delicious Madame croquet grilled cheese/egg breakfast sandwich which was a tasty breakfast option. Overall I will come back.

Clean, friendly and high quality is the impression that I walked away with. Filled with treats like latte's and pastries but also has some really tasty European influenced Sandwiches. Highly recommended.

Went here recently, loved eating here while I was exploring The Woodbury Plaza. I ordered the Chicken and Avacado, And I have to say it was 10/10! IT IS SOO JUICY AND the bread is probably the main reason as to which it tastes so good. I would definitely come here again and also order the Nutella Coffee. Recommend to anyone

I did a side by side taste test of an almond croissant from the French workshop and CHINESE owned Paris Baquette both located close to each other in Plainview. Both priced over $4 though French workshop's much smaller. Paris baquette tasted better than theirs. It was also much more flakey, which was a little annoying in that it was messy. So for over $4 I'm surprised Paris Baguette was the winner, you get more for your money and a tastier croissant!

I love the environment, I love coming here to enjoy a nice matcha latte while I can catch up on work. The pastries selection are amazing, from salty to sweet you have many options to choose from. Thank you for being amazing!

Always get their freddo expresso without the sugar. They have an abundance of sandwiches. Whether you are vegan or not. It does get busy so the wait can be a bit. You can always look at the cookies they have and order them as well. Plenty of desserts!

Pastry quality is Excellent - as good as NYC or better (for the city dwellers who have their noses up). Best strawberry tart my wife has had. Great ambiance. Staff is usually helpful, but some personnel aren't the warmest. Main issue is that it gets a little loud and there isn't enough seating - the issues of success :) We come every weekend!

Great place to come! Love this bakery, so many beautiful delicious options. Large seating area with nice decor, friendly service. It is always interesting to see how food is prepared, especially baking, here you have the opportunity to see this process - the whole kitchen is visible through the glass walls. Raspberry cheesecake, profiteroles, apple pie were delicious.
