Cute little place for a quiet walk and even a meal.

A former hunting lodge for bavarian dukes in the 13th century. renovated through ages till date. surrounded by lake and trees with a river pass and wooden bridges. designed with towers at the corner and a pyramid roof gate. today consists of the old gothic sryle chapel, restaurant, museum to german writers and a club for friends of the castle. worth the visit if you are in the area and you finished visiting Nymphenburg Castle cause they were one connected with an axial road now covered with trees.

The castle and the nearby grounds are just breathtaking, especially in summer. Nice place for evening walk or a leisurely stroll. You can also follow the Würm river as it meanders through and empties partly into the beauty lake besides the castle. It's just picturesque to view and walk about

Beautiful little gem to discover. Perfect for a sunny day, but the restaurant is also great. Expect some good tasty traditional food and beers. ;) Great for friends or family.

Really nice place to chill and walk around. There is also children’s library inside the castle. Also lots events keep happening there.

It is a small castle with really great area around. It seems to be a great place to take a rest from daily routine:) Nobody is in a hurry there.

Super tasty, we ordered cannelloni with mushrooms and salmon with lentils , both were great. Interior is also cosy and stylish.

Great location (esp. In the snow). Mostly known for the wine festival, but also the restaurant schlossschanke offers good quality and is perfect for a Sunday afternoon combined with a walk around the area. They also offer dinner in the special castle environment.

I love this place. I just happen to be driving back from the shower and looked up some places to go and saw this and it was a very happy impromptu visit strolling the grounds. Hey beautiful adopt runs alongside the property can't see anything modern so it really takes you back in time

Nice small Lake, with beer 🍺 garden. Very friendly staff. Nice place to visit in summer time if you are living near Pasing.

Service was ok and the food was average. Waiter did not speak English. Did not have an English menus. We had to do our own translation using google translator. They did not have WI-FI and the cell signal has one bar.

The castle surroundings are beautiful and quiet. Biking around the castle domain and the nearby fields makes one feel in the Bavarian countryside rather than in its capital, which is what makes Munich so special among big cities.

Food is great (I had lachsfilet - it was just the right amount of fried, salads are also good), staff is helpful and of course the atmosphere of the castle and the lake - it all creates the experience.

It is like second heaven. The meadow is so beautiful and green. Delightful and peaceful to walk around, very scenic. The Castle houses an International lending Library. Love to visit it. I will always want to go back there and spend my leisure time there. It give me peace and immeasurable joy to go there! Worth going there.

Only had fries when we visited, so I can't really rate the food. Location is beautiful especially the inner courtyard and the pond in front. Staff is very friedly. It is also possible to get drinks to take for a walk around the area by ordering at the stand up tables

Beautiful place to go for a bike ride or walk. There is a restaurant there as well.

Historical, well kept and looking at the notice boards would suggest a hive of stage activity. It’s a beautiful place, the lake is perfect to sit and contemplate the world.
