We had a great stay. Loved the room. Basically a mini efficiency apartment with stove, sink, fridge, pots, pans, dishes, etc. We love to cook some small meals during vacations so this worked well. Also a washer-dryer that came in handy. Nice little gym and free exercise classes! Also a pool we didn't have time to use. The staff were friendly. Make sure you try their breakfast sandwiches and espresso at the bar. So good! Quick and easy access to public transit. A fun little local bar (Harry's) and a tasty Indian restaurant nearby. We also thought the price was very reasonable.

Awesome place and very nice guys at the reception, we spent great days here. The rooms and public areas are furnished to a high standard and designed with attention to all details. They have a Gym and a Sauna (unfortunately not yet available at the time we went here) and they also offer free services like yoga class. I highly recommend it. Very close to the U-line of the metro to reach the city center.

A lovely suburban oasis. Location. While it’s located in the suburbs of Munich, it’s very easy to jump on the metro (2 minutes walk) and be in the city in about 15 minutes. There are also multiple supermarkets within 10 minutes walk plus a few reasonable cafes and restaurants nearby, in addition to the cafe/bar and restaurant on site. Service. Extremely friendly front of house, who were all ways happy to help. 10/10. Rooms. Modern and EXTREMELY clean with everything you need for a short stay including washer/dryer, washing machine and kitchen. Facilities. Great gym, free yoga and swimming pool with the beautiful co working space and reception made this feel like a Bali resort. A perfect spot to recharge for a few days. Constructive feedback. There were only a few minor things relating to the room (micro-studio), which are more constructive feedback for the management rather than actual issues, as overall we had a great time. The micro-studio feels like it was designed to fit in too much and prioritises looks over practicality. Eg, (1) the open glass shower looks great, but results in water all over the floor in the bathroom, (2) the dining table, couch, coffee table, and desk are all squashed together making it difficult to walk around and actually use them - needs to be decluttered as we ended up stacking tables and chairs to walk around easily (3) the raised section next to the bed makes it difficult to get out. All fine for a few days, but would be annoying long term. Overall a lovely stay and we will back next time we come to Munich!

My husband have really enjoyed our 3 nights here at WunderLocke. The staff has been extremely helpful and friendly with every interaction. We also love the decor both in the common areas and in the room. We love that the room has a washer/dryer, dishwasher and refrigerator. Every bit of space in the room is functional and clearly has been designed very well. I also thought the bed was very comfortable. We hope to be back!

This hotel is a freaking nightmare. A big warning to all. The worst accommodation in my life. I was with my wife at the hotel bar. I'll ask the waiter for two beers. I'll get two bottled beers. I will pay, I will ask for one glass for my wife. The waiter refuses to deliver one glass. Bottled drinks only for hotel guests. Glass prohibited. This is so crazy! This is not possible anywhere in the world! You are a crazy hotel! Crazy bar worker! A huge party at the reception, all night until 3 o'clock in the evening, a lot of noise, it was impossible to sleep! Restaurant very expensive and poor quality. I had mushrooms, the next day indigestion. The room is also crazy, dirt all over the walls. My kids beds sleep in a terrible place. Trauma to this day. I have a picture of the crazy room and I also have a video - the bar staff - they refuse to give one glass to drink one beer. I will present this review everywhere on the internet and in all social networks including photos and video.

I travel a lot and stay in many places. But this place was the BEST one so far. I stayed for 10 days. The room was amazing, I had everything I needed, beds were so fluffy 🥹♥️ super comfortable couch, kitchenette was full. Receptionists are super cute! I need to special thank to Julia♥️ (thank you Julia for the purple cute umbrella! You saved my night!:))

We had an excellent stay at WunderLocke. It was a group of 4 of us in town for Oktoberfest. We selected the 2 bedroom option and it fit us perfectly. From the moment we arrived at the hotel to the moment we checked out, Hannah and her team answered every question we had, gave recommendations, and provided the best customer service. The location is also great! Oktoberfest is a very quick train ride from the hotel (and the station is a 5 minute walk) with some fun bars and restaurants within walking distance. Yes, they are still doing some construction, but it was nothing I really even noticed. The indoor hotel bar, restaurant, and common area are also a great perk for when you want to spend a minute to relax at the hotel. Highly recommend the stay. We had zero issues the entire weekend.

Stayed here for a week in a 2 room suite. It's a lovely place to stay in Munich. The suites are nicely laid out and have a washer/dryer as well as a compact dishwasher. The TV is particularly well designed as can turn to face the seated area or the table, as well as being Chromecast enabled. The gym is good as well as an outdoor pool. I would definitely recommend to families. Paid parking is available, but there is free off street parking. Shops like Lidl and the U Bahn station are all close by too.

Very nice stay in Munchen when traveling solo or with children. Fully equipped mini studios. Loved the design of the place. You have absolutely everything you need there. Including a dishwasher, which I never expected to have. Very good sound isolation and the most comfortable beds. 4 stars.for location as it is not close to the center, but that's really the only thing I can complain about:)

Great place, it was very comfortable to live there for a month. The subway is in a couple minutes, 10-15 minutes to the center. The apartment have everything you need. There are gym, yoga room (I really liked the yoga classes), restaurants and swimming pool on the territory. I would happily stay there again

Really disappointing. I paid almost 250 euro a night and it’s just a ok place to stay . Website and pictures were really promising but reality was a bit different . I was disappointed as basic things were not in place . Hot and cold water issue which is very risky as water suddenly gets hot while shower . I see people mentioned it a month back but still not fixed . My room was not clean specially sofa as bad stains when I entered it the room after complaining twice it was fixed . I don’t want to sound like a complaining customer but all the feedback is honest. Floor where I was staying (6 floor ) seems under some repair . Constriction in front of the main building so no view which is fine. Over all not worth of money. Good thing is room interiors were really cool and so is the common area.

The place was a pleasant surprise! I was having a hard time booking known hotel partners for my intended schedule for some reason, so we had to source for new hotels. This came up and had good reviews, near the S Bahn, and within budget. So I was going in with no expectations whatsoever, but I was blown away. The staff are pleasant and helpful (we even got an early checkin), the room is contemporary, and has complete amenities, and it's easy to travel due to the distance to the sbahn. One other thing to note is that they also have a Michelin starred restaurant inside called farmhouse mural (which again I was taken by surprise - it was incredible). Overall, great hotel - tremendous value for money!

Nice hotel, we booked with 11 months in advance to be present at the Oktoberfest. We have a great deal price wise. The room upstairs is a bit uncomfortabke, the bed as well. The servicr and people are fantastic. I would go back again but maybe less days, I was not able to sleep very well. Near the underground and supermarkets.

Friendly and helpful staff, we booked a room for four but the air conditioning wasn't working, staff Diego helped us out by arranging another room with slight upgrade. The design and colour tone is fashionable. Appliances are sufficient, with dish washer, washing machine, microwave, boiler, TV, and utensils including pots and pans. Beds are soft and comfortable.

Overall, it is fancy and decent hotel with very humble bathroom. Little bit away from downtown but it could be good or bad thing by your purpose of staying. - Lobby, dining area, room itself are all high quality - However, it smells bad in bathroom. The size and quality of bathroom is poor if you compare to other spaces in the hotel - Reception crews are kind and helpful

  • 3/5 V. W. 7 months ago on Google
Didn’t quite meet the expectation. If you are taller than 1 meter, the upstairs bed is not recommended for you at all. (Maybe only for kids who can sleep alone). The lady at reception is not friendly. Keep in mind that the cleaning service is only once per 7 days. Additionally you need to taking out trashes, even need to ask for toilet paper, dishwasher tabs etc.

Modern design fully featursd self-contained apartments, walking distance to both the S and U Bahn. Parking in garage is 10 Eur per night. A lot of construction in progress in the area in October 2023. Walking distance to Aldi and Lidl. Great price / feature ratio for medium-term stays. I found the bed to be too soft as I prefer a firm bed.

Recommended. Very nice room. Will stay here next time. Morning coffee at the bar was also excellent. Receptionists were all very good but I want to make one special mention. Tim was very charming, helpful and saved us from missing our train by calling us a taxi!

Fantastic place both for a short and long term stay! I liked a lot the design of the room, every detail of it, including the little magnet to put on the microwave oven to hide the light during the night, yoga mat and workout videos ❤️ The room is very clean, and the bed is super cosy. Appreciated the local tips from the TV for dinner places too😌 The location is very nice! It took only 15min ride with U-bahn to reach city centre. (And amazing döner place around the corner 😱) What I would improve: Add glasses for toothbrush in the bathroom🙃

An excellent place to stay! The rooms were very clean and cozy and equipped with all the essentials (towels, soap, shampoo, iron, hair dryer). The room was equipped with a washing-drying machine and even a small dishwasher. The location is excellent, only a 5 min walk to the U line. Also there was a gym, sauna and pool that we could use. In the reception area there was a cofffe/bar and a restaurant. Perfect for a short stay or a longer stay.

How on earth does this hotel have such a high rating? We had 6 rooms for a group of 10 people with a variety of room types. The hotel is less than a year old and very tired and rooms have significant damage and wear and tear. Way way way overpriced! The rooms are akin to a glorified youth hostel. No proper ceilings, so its dusty. Non existent lightning so rooms are dark, but we assumed to hide the filth. Not clean at all. The rooms need a deep deep deep clean. The design and interior fitout is wrong wrong wrong. The location is far out from the main attractions, alas close to transport. . Staff were nice enough, but can't make up for the dismal state of the rooms.

That was a great experience staying in the hotel. We lived here for a couple of months when we moved to Munich last year. The rooms were well-designed and comfortable. The reception worked perfectly, the guys were always friendly and positive. I 100% recommend this place to stay in the city even for a long period (all necessary stuff is included: kitchen/laundry etc).

A wonderful hotel, and I liked its cleanliness and quiet. The details of the reception and lobby are very wonderful, but there is a note for me that the room is narrow in size and height only, but the rest of the details are excellent.

I stayed with my husband and dog for a week. The TV wasn't working, the blackout also didn't work, the air conditioning didn't cool the space. After more than 24h they offered us to change rooms. In the new room, same issue with the backout, the air conditioning made more noise than what it was cooling the space and it leaked, the lights above the bed and kitchen didn't work. And on top of that all the floors were unfinished (holes in the walls and unganged signs) and we couldn't use the terrace or sauna because they weren't finished... but the price we paid for the stay was as if everything was usable and finished! Definitely is one of the worst aparthotels that I have stayed in, we have stayed in quite a few, in different parts of Europe/UK and by far this is the worst. Not only because of the issues in the rooms, the temperature in the whole complex, the design of the spaces and what the place offers. It feels more like a showoff than what it actually is.

The room we had, had all the comfort needed, a little kitchen, little fridge and also a washmashine (dryer included). We could't ask for better! The team was helpful and friendly. Fully recommended! Great value of money as well. The hotel is well connected with the underground and buses. Nearby there are different shops and bakeries as well.

Good concept combining rooms and working spaces. A huge plus was the small kitchenette in the room including a good sized fridge, utensils and dishwasher. The design was cool throughout. The building was probably not intended originally to serve as a hotel - given its layout and minor issues like water pressure or loud air ventilation. However those issues did not impact my stay badly. There was a bus stop, U-Bahn and S-Bahn nearby. I would stay at WunderLocke again.

I WANT TO LIVE HERE!!! Wow, the staff and vibes at this place are immaculate. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating and the rooms were dreamy. You can't beat the value, plus the location is so close to a subway stop that it makes getting around Munich a breeze. The bed was also the softest bed I have ever felt in my life, like I NEED this bed in my life. It was a cloud and I fell asleep so easily. The space was decorated so nicely but it also had everything you need, even a washer for your clothes!! The co-working area, outdoor space, and yoga were also great touches. It felt like an easy place to get work done and relax. But the absolute BEST part of all was the staff. They would stop and chat with us in a genuine way and gave us great tips for traveling. They honestly seemed more like friends than staff. I can't say enough good things about this place and this will be the only place we will stay when we visit again.

I don’t know how WunderLocke got so many five-star reviews. The concept and design are nice, but the idea is unfortunately poorly executed as shown in many details. The mattress didn’t give any back support whatsoever, the bathroom sink fitting sprayed the entire room and the shower went from ice cold to piping hot and back again. The blinds went up automatically in the middle of the night. Also: Breakfast service was terrible, which is a shame because the food was not bad at all, albeit overpriced. Could have been nice but too many deficits for me to come back!

When I google this address and try to making some comment here, the room price was REALLY SURPRISED me: 179.1 € due to the exhibition last week (Even I booked 2 months in advance)which almost double price than now!I have to say: this happens to everywhere in different countries! The apartment is cute ,not big,but available with the facilities you need, such as washing machine and dish washing machine etc. If you sleep the upper loft, you have to bent your wait always. Opposite there is building under construction, but its quite at night. Swimming pool is small but better than nothing, night time, the water is quite chilly. Right now,the price is reasonable to this apartment. P.S: There is problem of the shower, suddenly very hot, suddenly very cold!

Tasty flat white coffee and croissant. Nice pool atmosphere but only 5 deck chairs are available. Calm large reception where you can work with your laptop. Wifi available. I photographed the menu of the restaurant if needed. The atmosphere at the restaurant's terrace and at the pool will probably be better when the construction work of the neighbouring apartments complex is over.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at WunderLocke, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed. The concept of an apartment hotel is a brilliant one, and it offers several advantages over traditional hotels. For starters, the apartments are much more spacious and offer a home-like feel that you won't find in a regular hotel room. The apartment that I stayed in had everything that I could possibly need, and more. The kitchen was fully equipped with a stove, pans, utensils, and a dishwasher. It was incredibly convenient to have the option of cooking my own meals. The only thing I didn't find in the room was a bottle opener. We're in Bavaria where it's customary to drink beer! Unfortunately, I only found a corkscrew. Please add a bottle opener to the room! One thing that really stood out to me was the friendly staff. They were always available to help with any queries and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment hotel to anyone who wants a comfortable, convenient, and cost-effective alternative to traditional hotels. The facilities in the room were excellent, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be staying at this apartment hotel again in the future.

Great great experience! Very nice hotel with interesting design and equipped with all the necessary facilities. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they made me feel very comfortable during my stay at the hotel. The food and the service was excellent. The room was very unique, spacious and comfy, also it had a balcony with a very nice view. Thank you WunderLocke for making my stay in Munich great!

I had a great stay here! It’s very affordable and comfortable. Our room had a washer/dryer, kitchenette, AND a dishwasher! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Paul did a great job checking our luggage so we could spend a day in the city, and Desi made sure everything in our room was up to par. Both of the ladies who worked reception in the evening were more than accommodating. We also had food at the restaurant that was delicious! Would definitely recommend staying here.

I loved this hotel. It is new, super spacious and pretty affordable. 4 of us booked a 2 bedroom unit and we felt at home. There is even a little washer/dryer and dishwasher. Located minutes from the subway and a grocery store. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Luciana and her team have been extremely kind and helpful during the entire period I spent here. Great design both in the room and in the common areas. Having the washing machine and the ironing facilities inside the bedroom has been highly useful. Tube station at less than five minutes walking, a few supermarkets and restaurants at maximum 15 minutes. For breakfast, fresh and very good food. Only downside: the breakfast price might be “reevaluated”.

  • 5/5 Caleb M. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel is really well designed with a full kitchen (including dishwasher, stove, pots & pans and a washing machine), modern layout and an overall cool aesthetic. There’s a gym, yoga, co-working space and other fun activities. The location is not super accessible with public transport (takes about 20 mins to get to the city center), but if you’re with a car, it should be easy enough to get anywhere.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for the first few nights of our honeymoon and we are so very impressed. We arrived at the hotel after an exceptionally long travel day from the United States and were pleasantly greeted late in the night by Daria who was very helpful with finding our way around the facility and all that the hotel had to offer us during our stay. When we walked into our room we were very impressed by all it had to offer (washing machine, dishwasher, a kitchen stocked with any and all kitchen utensils you could need, and a tv that worked with chrome cast) and the cleanliness of everything. The breakfast buffet that was offered had a wide variety of options to choose from and everything we had was very delicious. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet and the location of the hotel itself is within a ten minute walk to the train station so travel was very seamless. Overall, we loved everything and we are looking forward to seeing how it continues to please future travelers!

We had an excellent experience at WunderLocke, in no small part because of the staff. Paul at the front desk was especially amazing. He gave us a number of suggestions for things to do and places to eat and drink. His recommendations were excellent and they made our trip to Munich all the better. The hotel was also clean, quiet, and the accommodations were exactly as described.

  • 5/5 Sune l. 1 year ago on Google
Absolutely adored my stay here, the hotel is fully equipped with everything you could think of and more. The way it was furnished also makes you feel more like home than being in a hotel room. The staff are so helpful and it was truly an amazing stay. It also comes with a gym and yoga studio+classes in the hotel which is definitely a first. The whole check in process runs smoothly and they even store your bags if you get in before check in but want to head out into Munich. Will definitely recommend it for my family and friends when they come to visit. Loved my stay here and will definitely come back :)
