The care and attention provided to the overall operation of this Souper! Salad! is worthy of being noticed and commended. This is especially unusual considering the shortage of workers that the United States is facing. It is obvious that the manager and staff are professionals who know what it takes to run a successful restaurant business. It is getting more challenging for customers to experience adequate customer service these days. The experience at this Souper! Salad! (1017 N. Central Expy, Plano, TX) was a breath of fresh air. Thank you!

[4/8/2022][$11] The last remaining Souper Salad in DFW. This restaurant chain used to be very popular. I remember people used to line up for this restaurant at the Oak Lawn location. Now, not so much because it is gone; This Plano restaurant hasn’t evolved with the time, and it is less than what it used to be. Dark brown taco cheese and taco meat were spoiled. :-(. The restaurant has one person manning the whole restaurant floor on Friday night. The restaurant is clean. I wanted this review to be better but I have to be objective as possible. You are better off going to Jason’s Deli.

My fav thing the gingerbread was burnt but they made some fresh ones for me. Tea had peach flavor so no reg sweet tea. No ham for the salads. Barely any chips for nachos. We're out of baked potatoes. Didn't have taco shells or barely any meat. Overall I would have gotten more for my buck at Golden corral. 10.99 for a buffet with barely anything to eat is way too expensive

I'm not sure what happened to this place, but today's visit was extremely disappointing. The people running it were sweet and attentive people, but the display presented dried-out, unappetizing-looking veggies and salad ingredients, and obviously-bad spinach on top. The veggies basically looked like they were from the day before with a little loose wrap on them and not properly preserved. The chips for the nacho bar were stale, and the nacho sauce was way too runny. The soups were okay, and they kept the areas clean while we were there. These people need food managerial help to get the buffet back up to par again.

The food was delicious and rich. It's healthy but also satisfying. The buffet allows many options to enjoy. It tastes fresh and I finished everything on my plate. I will be back! Highly reccommend!

I was there on a Sunday at about 1:30, after church when everyone goes out to eat. The salad buffet was old and some items were down to the bottom. I am going back to Jason's deli down the street. Their salad buffet is fresh and full. You have the right selections but they are not full and fresh. dined in

Holy heck! This place has gone downhill. The ONLY great thing about this place was the guy who was running the floor/register. Super great service, thank you. However, the food quality is terrible. The lettuce leaves are wilted, the taco meat smells and tastes like canned dog food (don't ask), the soups are marginal and some plasticy tasting and the pizza looks and tastes like a pig skin flap. The only thing that was decent was the baked potato, but I'm convinced that's because their chefs don't have access to the inside of them. People, please....friends don't let friends drive to Souper Salad. Be a true friend.

If the food was a little bit fresher, I'd give this place 5 stars. However I believe the loss of business due to covid-19 makes it really hard for buffet style establishments to keep things 5 star fresh... the staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was still pretty good, but it could have been more fresh. There was a nice selection, and the price was ok for the area. I would eat here again if I was in the area.

I loved the food! It was so delicious and warm! Although the food did look a little un appetizing, it was actually delicious. The building is gorgeous and perfect for studying. I will be back again. I highly recommend to come in the morning. I was lucky to meet the lovely cashiers named Imran and Mazhar. They come at different times, but both of them are very nice to work with. The employees were nice and I enjoyed the experience overall.

Ok so we walk in and there's this disgusting lady in the dark blue she was at the salad line with a glove on feeding herself and touching every utensil down line. The cashier mind u was the owner. I asked him if he would ask her to stop. He replied he would talk to her as he laughed. I had to demand that they change all the utensils down that one side. Yuk like where is her table manners? Absolutely NOT COVID FRIENDLY. CAUTION THIS LOCATION. TRY Lewisville.

So the workers were nice and attentive, got refills when needed, all good there. The food however, not good at all. I built a fairly decent salad with a variety of different things as well as getting a bowl of soup. Granted I had to go through a couple of trays and plates to find a clean one, but that was my first sign. The vegetables were bland, the onions and bell peppers were squishy and slightly gelatinous, the pasta salad tasted like soap, it just wasn’t going well. Get to the soup, and it’s basically chef boyardee with a little more salt than necessary. The water was good.

I'm happy to know that this location hasn't closed down!!! I don't mind the drive. Dallas and mesquite locations have closed down... Service was great. Love the cornbread selection!!
