I was near lakeland in the morning and searched for the coffee place around me. I decided to have coffee and quick breakfast at Mitchell's Coffee House. It is a small cafe with a very good atmosphere. They also have books which one can read and also work from the cafe. After browsing through the menu I decided to order Latte Espresso Drink and Veggie wrap. I got my latte in 5 minutes. The latte was hot and freshly brewed. I loved the latte. In another 5-10 minutes i got my veggie wrap. The wrap was also delicious and loved the wrap. Amazing cafe with beautiful atmosphere in the cafe.

Wonderful aromas as soon as you enter. Great staff and food selection (sandwiches, muffins, cakes and more). Coffee beverages iced and warm were divine! Delicious high quality food and baked goods. Would definitely recommend!

Fun, funky, absolutely delicious! I loved the cakes here! Anything you get is top notch. I love that local artists get support and space here. Great spot to chill or meet with friends. AND!!! They have books!

I’ve had the honor of being a frequent visitor this past month. The lattes were fabulous! The pancakes were to die for and the desserts made you want to buy the whole case. I spent many hours outside working on my computer and not once did I feel unsafe or not welcomed. The staff was friendly and always greeted you with a smile. I eventually met the owner and he was just as kind as the rest of his staff. Thank you for welcoming myself, my husband, and the many insurance adjusters that were in and out of your door this past month. We’re going to miss this family owned, quality business. Cheers to many more years!

Stopped in for a nitro cold brew with milk, and it’s delicious! The young lady behind the counter (blonde, short hair) was very friendly. They serve breakfast and have plenty of space for study groups, larger parties of people. I’d come back.

Mitchell's is great. They have a wide variety of beverages including smoothies, and also some great pastries and cakes. There's a good deal of indoor seating including a bar at the window if you want to watch the activity when the market is set up. There's also outdoor seating for when the weather is cooler. Service is fast and friendly.

We ordered the vegetarian options and it was just so bad that I’m actually offended that I was charged for it. Who wants to eat a whole chunk of onion in their veggie wrap? It was all just big chunks of veggies and I paid extra for the hummus and there was hardly any on there..I barely tasted it. My husband ordered the veggie burger and it came on sand which bread and looked like it had been microwaved then slapped between two pieces of bread with a tomato and a piece of lettuce. So bad. Just bad. The people are nice but the food left sooo much to be desired.

I hate giving a small business anything less than 5 stars but after visiting multiple times I have to say something. The coffee it self is good. Like the espresso itself has decent flavor but the way they put an iced latte together just can’t be right. It always has this watery taste to it. I can’t explain it but it’s just not right. It taste like they are using almond milk but they aren't. It’s confusing honestly. The wait time to receive your coffee is also pretty brutal sometimes.

THE place in Lakeland for local, craft coffee. Food is always stellar. Don't miss the chicken gumbo. Service is always great, too.

Mitchell's has been a long-time favorite of mine. When it first opened up, it was a mismatch of furnishings with some local artwork. Now, with the remodel, he's added more space to the place. Mitchell's serves up some good coffee, iced coffee, and tea. In addition, he has a lot of sweet options as well as breakfast and lunch items. If you bring a coffee cup and leave it with them you can get your coffee for refill prices instead of the full price. It's definitely worth stopping by for some coffee.

A really great coffee place. The food is good and ambiance is very nice. Not many coffee places, have spread out interiors like this. Very nice back section that you can reserve. Definately keeping this place in mind. Especially for Mondays when other favorites are closed.

Cute lil coffee shop! Great for meetings and events. I loved the smoothies and the keto bowl. The smoothies are made with fresh fruits and were very refreshing and light. Excellent fast service, delicious food, great environment and caring customer service.

Very flavorful burritos, energetic coffee and friendly staff. The seating area is a bit bland but it has plenty of occupancy. I really appreciate their cork board for small businesses to advertise on.

Nice little place for brunch. Awesome food. Loved the fluffy pancakes and the coffee cake. The paintings in the place are a little disturbing to watch while eating breakfast.

Very friendly staff, delicious frozen lattes and pretty good cappuccinos. Petite vanilla scone was perfect. Atmosphere was very inviting, several shelves of books you could borrow to enjoy while you hang out.

Ordered the Mitchell’s favorite burrito- amazing. The croissant breakfast sandwich- very good. And a latte which was also very good. Would gladly go again.

Great service, super friendly staff. The cinnamon roll is a mist in my opinion. I had the strawberry smoothie and it was just what the doctor ordered on this very hot day.

Nice place to grab a bite and coffee. The baked goods are delish. We haven't tried breakfast fare. There is a nice selection of hot and cold brewed coffee. You have the option to eat in, eat on back patio, or eat at small tables out front. The staff was polite and efficient. You may have to wait a minute or two, as some beverages take a bit.

What a nice place! Went on a busy Saturday with a group of ladies and had a blast. Tried the Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Croissant and it was delicious. Also had a strawberry smoothie and enjoyed it as well. Will definitely be returning again!

Mitchell's is a staple of downtown Lakeland. Chill atmosphere and good coffee! They have really delicious flavored drinks, especially seasonally (like the Pumpkin Pie latte!).

Always a great experience here. They’re coffee is delicious and the homemade whip cream is such an awesome touch. The food and sweet are always a must for me! Staff is kind and helpful and I love the home town coffee shop feel. They also have local artist work for sale!

Baker is very nice and accommodating. I ordered a cake for my wife who had unexpected medical issues and was hospitalized. Mitchell's worked with me, getting the cake early without any issues. She's out and we can enjoy it on her bday. Thanks guys. Highly recommend for baking needs. The coca-cola cake is always amazing

Really cute... but I think people come here for the coffee more than the food. Pancakes have no flavor and are dry.ham is sliced ham for sandwiches. Service was great coffee was amazing but food mehh

The banana bread french toast was divine! As were the over hard eggs (perfectly cooked) and Salted Carmel Crunch latte.

Great little coffee shop. I didn't get to experience the personal service as I was at a private event..but the owner was VERY present and attentive to us.

This is my favorite coffee place. I love grabbing a coffee with a bite to eat (the croissant sandwiches are amazing). The staff is always incredibly friendly and the atmosphere makes it a great place to sit with friends or do work.
