I ordered the combo while my wife opted for ribs. The pulled pork and turkey were decent in taste but a bit dry, so I had to use a lot of sauce from the table. However, I thoroughly enjoyed the beans and the Mac and cheese was decent but not exceptional. On the other hand, my wife loved the ribs and thought they were the best in the area. She also enjoyed both of her sides.

DELICIOUS FOOD!! The ribs were seasoned nicely but I would've liked to have them finished off with BBQ sauce on them already. Instead, they have three BBQ sauces on the table for you to pick which is nice too. The chicken was amazing as well! Loved it.

A Gem of a barbeque find! Our first time here and we will be back! Perfect stop on the way to Tampa, felt like we were regulars thanks to Krysten C! Excellent smoked turkey sandwich! Loved the fried okra too and plenty of it! Onion rings were tasty and thick cut but breading was crumbly and dropped off. Ranch on the side is delicious! Pickles are a bread and butter dill mix and taste amazing! 2 delicious sauces to choose from and both are smokey and one is a bit sweeter, good to mix! Sweeeet tea, recommend 1/2 and 1/2! Relaxed and homey atmosphere! Love it!

Absolute favorite restaurant ever! The food is always delicious, the service is fantastic and their sweet tea is to die for! My favorite is the smoked wings with their incredible sweet BBQ sauce! I've never had a bad experience with their food or their service! They even have a rewards program that got me $10 off today! *Yet another fantastic experience. Every time a friend or coworker visits from out of town, this is my go-to spot!

Can you say THE BEST with me?!? Oh melted off the bone smoked, and deep fried because just smoked is not enough right? Well, it's smoked, fried and drizzled in HONEY! Ok?!! The best chicken we've ever had hands down. The sides: Mac and cheese, the potato salad (like your grandma used to make, omg so good) sweet buttery rolls, sweet bbq that you could drink it. Serenity sauce I'd call it. They also have dessert but we couldn't get past our large portion to make room. Wow! Can't wait to go back again. Highly recommend to get here fast as you possibly can!! ;-) DELICIOUS FOOD

Everyone was very kind and always making sure we had what we needed it. The food was wonderful and the Mac and Cheese was spot on. I had pulled pork tacos they were amazing. My friend had chicken breast and it was juicy not dry at all. The manager was Rulx and he was walking around helping his staff and asking people if they needed anything it was a very nice place. They also have a drive threw.

There is a good reason this place is famous. Awesome BBQ and ALL the fixings! You must try the apple Cole slaw. Big shout out to our server Abby. She did an excellent job in a busy dinner rush. I accidentally forgot to leave a tip so we'll definitely be back. I promise we'll make it up. We plan on eating there as often as possible. Thanks for taking good care of my family.

Listen, the best bbq baked potato with brisket & smoked turkey is amazing, the best hands down everytime that I work in Plant City I definitely place my order.. Bbq nachos was finger licking good...gotta get more

Great BBQ in Plant City! I'm upset I didn't get the baked potato because I saw it come out to another table and it looked AMAZING! Cream corn is absolutely to die for and their meats are BBQ'd to perfection. Get a platter and dig in! It won't disappoint.

Jennie was amazing!!!!!!! When we walked in everyone greeted us with a smile. Let me also add I've always ordered at the drive thru and never done in. We switched it up and we had a stroller with us and when I tell u they were so kind hearted and understanding. Every server kept saying I promise we are not skipping you and that was amazing 💓 its not very many restaurants that take families before you and not explain why. We took family there for the first time and they came from Orlando and loved the ribs falling off the bone.

Beyond amazing food and some of the best prices around for BBQ. The portions are well worth the prices. I had their BBQ loaded baked potato with brisket and it was one of the best things I've ever eaten. Other half also got the potato but with pulled pork and was equally thrilled. Hands down the best BBQ place in the area.

This was my first visit. It's really tasty food. I got the BBQ baked potatoe with shredded pork, and it came with one side. I got the Mac and cheese, which was nice and creamy. The apple coleslaw came with my son's meal. The coleslaw was excellent. We also got fried pickles as an appetizer - no photo because we gobbled them right up. Highly recommend! Great energy in the restaurant and fun music playing. There is limited outdoor seating and a few seats at the counter.

Great value For the amount of food. We sat outside because the indoor seating was full. Our server, Jennie, was fast, friendly and attentive. I recommend Johnson Barbeque to anyone who is traveling down Alexander Street in Plant City.

From Vancouver Island, Canada, and we needed to stop on our way from Tampa to Orlando after a long journey to get here. This couldn't have been a better place. What a bubbling atmosphere, with patrons having a great time and amazing food and staff so receptive to new comers. I only wish we lived closer!

Sausage was great, ribs were cooked perfectly but a little bland, Brisket was very bland. Friendly service and clean. Great decore but the BBQ was only mediocre.

Have to say I was quite impressed with this BBQ joint. You know it has to be a great place when you walk in and there is a host of Plant City's finest in the dining room. They have a very nice selection of other things besides the standard Pit offerings but let's be real you aren't eating Pit why bother going to a BBQ place. I ordered a rib plate that came with an additional meat so I opted for dark chicken. Also get two sides and a heavenly roll (similar to Texas Roadhouse, but even better if that is possible) sides are pretty standard fare so I opted for Mac and cheese and corn pudding with bacon. RIBS were amazing..some of the best I have had in a long while. They have 3 sauces and both the sweet and regular complimented the ribs nicely but you absolutely do not need sauce. The chicken did need some help and in my opinion the regular vinegar based sauce was the better choice. When I saw the sides I was afraid I was going to be disappointed with the Mac and cheese because it looked dry. It was not..it had a nice cheese flavor with a small peppery kick. The corn was really good too. They make a real good sweet tea too..All around a great meal and I will be back. As a kicker they offer a 50% discount for Veterans, First Responders, and the likes.

Everything is great here. The bread is moist and doesn’t need butter with its flavor. The brisket is flavorful and tender. The sausage has the perfect amount of moisture and flavor. Best Mac and cheese I’ve had in a long time. I went home satisfied!

Great food, atmosphere & sweet tea!! I got the brisket & I wished it had been smoked a bit longer but the flavors & selection is top notch! We will definitely be back! If you stop here and don’t get their sweet tea, you’re doing it wrong!!

1 st time dining here and we went during lunch on a Thursday. I ordered the smokehouse salad with pork. The salad was very fresh and the pulled pork had a great flavor. The others in the group order the potato skins and it was freaking huge serving. Definitely something that could be shared. The last order was turkey tacos and cheese grits. They said they were really good. The turkey had awesome taste to it.
