Nice place to watch a few trains roll by. Small museum with lots of railroad artifacts. Largest railroad speeder collection I've ever seen. Clean muesum and surrounding park.

Great place to watch trains. Has a diamond for all directions. CSX and Amtrak go by mostly.

This is a great place to hang out and watch for trains. My son likes "railfanning" from the platform and in the area around it. I enjoy hanging out on the benches and talking to the other railfanners and their parents.

Me and my friend came here to relax and maybe see a train or two. Instead, these kids were screaming at us asking when the next train was coming and other stuff we really just didn’t care about. I really wanted to chat with my friend (and hopefully see a train) I asked one kid politely to please leave us alone, and a woman (his mom?) began berating us about how rude we were and she accused us of telling her son to be quiet (?) when we said no such thing. We left. That wasn’t the end of it. We decided to give it another try a few months later. When we arrived, there was a group of crazy, very rowdy teens cussing loudly, yelling, and banging stuff against the railings. They even threw stuff at a security camera… We left I’m disgust, and never saw a train both times. NEVER AGAIN!

Always a treat coming here. I've been visiting here since I was a little kid, coming to see the Amtrak Silver Star.

Old fashioned town with lots to do and see. We watched as an Amtrak train passed us by. It was amazing!

Great platform with very nice benches. Perfect place for viewing several kinds of trains go by. Close enough to trains to feel the wind and feel the ground shake!

The viewing platform has multiple covered benches and outlets. The railroad museum across the tracks is really nice, I think they had a good set up with lots of information. They also have the livestream view of the tracks playing in the museum, which you can access yourself on youtube.

I went at night with a friend and just as we were about to leave the arms lowered and lights started flashing, and a night freight train came by! So intense, and very cool to just sit there and enjoy the intensity of that experience! After taking a train from Ohio to NY, then to do this....so cool....the ground felt like it moved...😆

Not much to say. It's a train platform, but it's clean and in great condition. I am giving it 4/5 stars because the lift has never been available when we've gone. I don't need the lift, but sometimes would be easier to keep my youngest in the stroller when we go to the top of the viewing platform.
