Receptionist was outstanding. Doctor was nice, observant, and knowledgeable. She treated me with no judgement, which is something you find everywhere. I look forward to my next appointment.

Dr. A. K. Vijapura's office is located at: 802 W Dr Martin Luther King Jr Blvd Suite D, Plant City, FL 33563 Suite D is located the furthest North away from the Handicapped Parking Spots ♿️ My Fiancé has been going here for just about a year now to find some much needed comfort and solace from mental and physical trauma. I have to say that coming to see Dr. A. K. Vijapura really has helped her cope with her past and really has brightened her future. The rooms and doorways are spacious and very Handicapped ♿️ friendly and offers the same amount of courtesy to all patronage.

I recently visited Dr. Vijapura’s office and it was very clean. The providers are very knowledgeable and super nice. The new front office is also kind and willing to work with you and accomodate. Highly recommend coming here!

I was very pleased with my visit. The staff was kind and professional, all the way from the front desk, the nurse and to the provider. I would recommend this practice to anyone needing psychiatric services.

1st STAR • I needed paperwork and medication maintenance fresh out of rehab, and the only place (and I have private insurance) I could find an appointment that wasn’t a year away was here. 2nd STAR •Some (UNDERLINE SOME!) of the staff was courteous and showed empathy. NO MORE STARS I decided to go without medication because the FRONT END was so bad and unprofessional making mistakes left and right. Making you feel as if you were invaluable. They even hung up on me one day while I was trying to set an appointment with this remark DONT BE NASTY Side note: I was being my normal self and that is EDUCATED 🥺 By the way they never filled out my docs📝 to go back to work FYI Oh and remember⚠️❗️⁉️ JUST IN CASE YOU GET TO HAVE TO GO HERE….. ONLY CASH 💵 💰🤑

My first appointment wasn't even until tomorrow 1/5/23, but Peggy at the desk spoke with Amy and the rest of the wonderful staff and they were able to take me today 1/4/23. They all seem very passionate about taking the best care for their patients. They are also very quick with calling back their patients. Thank you so much to you all! 😊

I have changed my review of this place, since they got rid of the person that won't be named. The new office looks great and the office staff is wonderful. You're greeted with smiles and kind words now. Not ignored and talked down to anymore. I dreaded coming to my appointments but not now. I'm treated like I'm somebody now. I have been going for quite some time and ever since I began going to yesterday, I feel blessed being cared for through their office. The staff is always pleasant and Dr. Amy Card has been a kind, caring, and involved psychiatrist in my life and my fiancé, Michael's life. I would highly recommend this office, not for immediate medical relief, but as an office who will invest in you as an individual to help you in any situation. I thank Jesus for SueCarla and everyone at Dr. Vijapura's office. Being a Christian I have been criticized by other church people for seeing a psychiatrist but God has given people knowledge in all areas of healing for our good. I've been going thru one of the most difficult situations I've ever had to endure in my entire life. The compassionate non-judgmental treatment I have received has helped me tremendously.

I was a patient here years ago and I always dreaded going to appointments. The doctors constantly changed and I was unable to get to know any one doctor and build a relationship with them. One would not prescribe me the necessary medications based on her personal bias, that i need. The receptionists needed empathy and it was hard to reach them via phone. I had serious issues from not being able to get my meds so I had to go through withdrawal cold turkey for 5 psych meds which is dangerous! However...This place has improved tenfold in the last year! The receptionists are kind and caring, namely Alyssa who is very understanding and helpful. The waiting room is more inviting with art, fake plants, and music playing. It's no longer packed beyond belief. The doctors are generally more concerned with your well being and seem to actually want to help. If they stay like this (and have for almost the past year since my husband is now a patient), their reviews will get even better. I also will be returning when I get my health insurance back. I'm relieved my husband is being cared for properly at last!

Very Knowledgeable also they will listen to understand what’s going on. Ms.Amy will help you! In the process to uplift you and educate on whatever it is she decides what’s best suits your situation! When you have some one that understands in such a way to help you get through!

I was very pleased with my experience with Dr. Adams. She was patient, attentive and knowledgeable. She explained everything to me in a very clear manner. Highly professional and recommended.

We are forever grateful for Dr V and his team. In just 6 mos. My hubby was able to wean off of all heavy mental meds he had been taking for 2 yrs. We are forever grateful and will refer others in need to the Dr V. Team. They are miracle workers and a joy to work with. Thank you for giving my hubby back to me.

I've been coming here for over two years and I did have a problem at first but it was because I didn't understand the process. Now I know what to do and as for Dr Vijapura, I've seen him several times through my treatment. I like the Drs and staff as well. Nobody's perfect but they at least must be given a good chance to improve.

So far I like my new psychiatrist, Dr Card . She's very sweet and listens to you with concerns of medication.

Just had my first visit with Dr. V. I’m excited to see how his suggestions will help me. He was attentive, addressed my needs, and very nice.

Genesis is fantastic in the front office!!!! So glad they got new staff, old staff wasn't professional at all and very nasty to patients.

I have yet to see the doctor and I've been there for several years. I have been through at least a dozen nurse practioners. They keep quitting and I never get the chance to get comfortable with them and they're gone. Also I never am able to get anyone on the phone.

I wish I could select zero. There's definitely illegal and bad things happening under this administration. They refuse to tell you what time your appt is if you have misplaced your card. The business office staff will not help with anything or even tell you their name. Bathroom never has soap or other items. If you don't follow their orders you get thrown out, nurse practitioners are nice, never saw the doctor billing my visits. I have never seen him there. 5 minute counseling before appt is probably billed too. I stopped going here.

This was a pleasant experience for me.I finally I feel I'm getting the proper Help! Everyone was so kind and caring! Very educated and helped actually figure something else going on..I'd highly recommend if your in need!

I hate bringing my husband here. We only come here bc he hates change!!! The nurse practitioners at the Plant City location do not care at all about patients.

I’ve seen SueCarla for a year now , I went from not wanting to get out of bed to running and operating a funeral home and owning my own online boutique. She never judges me , and for the first time makes me feel normal regardless of my anxiety/depression I suffer from. Sue has literally changed my life !

I love Dr Sue Karla !! I feel human around her and I enjoy seeing her ! I love her realness and her intellect ! She not for the feint of heart she will keep it real as can be and I wish she was my family !

Felt very comfortable with everyone there. They were all extremely understanding and willing to help. The one who prescribes the meds actually listens to you and your symptoms and truly tries to find the best meds to get you back to feeling like yourself again. I love this place.

Best doctor and staff of all psychological counselors. This doctor has been my doctor for almost 8 years. I love them more than any psychologist in the world.

First time I met him was during an interview in behavioral ward. He had one finger up his nose while the other was holding his cell phone. I had good insurance so I'm sure he was happy collecting a portion of the nearly $1000 per night that they paid.

The staff and doctors were all very nice and accommodating to my needs. They really listened to me and made me feel like they really wanted to help me in any way they could. I highly recommend them!

I just switched to this Dr. And she is great. She's attentive, has great pharmaceutical knowledge, and has great people skills. My appointment went smooth as a whistle and I look forward to my follow up.
