I'll start with the good, the hotel seemed clean and it is new so it looks great overall. The easy check in and no touch access from your phone was very convenient and Covid friendly. We had a small issue with the lights in the room and they sent someone upto fix it quickly. The staff was also friendly and helpful so the reason for my gripe has nothing to do with the staff at all. So, now to the negative part. We rented a king bed suite which is advertised as having a pull out bed. We got to the hotel pretty late in the day with two very tired kids to find out the pull out bed is really a ( what my daughter called), a fold out piece of cardboard. There were no sheets in the room for it so we had to call the front desk and go downstairs to get. In addition to that, our King size bed wasn't any better. My husband threw out his back from how hard the bed was and we ended up checking out the next evening to make a 4 hour drive back home so we can sleep on our own bed. As a Marriott Bonvoy member, I'm pretty upset this hotel is labeled as a Marriott. I don't expect to sleep on cardboard at a Marriott hotel. At a minimum I expect to have a decent bed.

I had never stayed at a TownePlace suites before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’m happy that I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean, as was my room, and the staff was friendly and helpful whenever I needed anything. The hotel has a nice fire table outside, that became the focal point for my group. The room was clean, and spacious and even came stocked with plates, cups, and some cookware along with an iron and ironing board which definitely came in handy considering I was here on business. I would stay here again.

Beautiful space. Very modern and the design is well organized and spacious. Nice shower pressure and lots of hot water. Breakfast in the morning was expected, but what made it great was their attendant who set up and tore down the breakfast. All around every employee was excellent. If we have to be in the area we would def return again.

I have stayed at a lot of hotels due to visiting family, leisure travel amd my daughter playing extremely competitive travel soccer for 9 years. This is hands down the nicest hotel I have stayed in. The location was super convenient- lots of dining options right within walking distance and a grocery store, too. A gas station basically on the other side of the parking lot. They had BBQ grills, which one of the teams used for a big team dinner. All rooms are equipped with a full size couch, a nice big closet with storage system built in, a full size fridge, coffee pot, stove top, and a workable kitchen. The bathroom was beautiful. HUGE shower. I was so impressed, as was my daughter. She took video of the room and put it on her snap story, that's how nice it was. The breakfast was not as over the top as some hotels, but given how bad the food still is at the other places, who cares?! They had really great coffee available downstairs at all times and the front desk staff was so sweet and accommodating (I made a mess as soon as we were walking in and she just cleaned it right up without making me feel like a bigger dingdong). I will be going back and encouraging our team to use this hotel as a first pick option when in the area.

The bed wasnt as comfortable as i would have expected from a Marriott. The downstairs and outside was a awesome set up but I expected better breakfast for the price. Especially when it is pet friendly but I have to pay a 150 non refundable.

Nice fairly new hotel. Room was clean, staff were friendly, standard free breakfast offerings, gathering/breakfast area was nice. No complaints at all about anything inside. The outside however has an odd setup. The BBQ grills are located right at the main entrance, and the (unheated) pool, fire pit and outdoor seating area are all up against the parking lot and only a few hundred feet from I4. If you enjoy listening to the soothing sounds of heavy interstate traffic while you’re grilling or chilling by the fire this is the hotel for you. Don’t know why they didn’t put these amenities at the back of the building where it would be quiet, as it is anything but relaxing to use them where they are. 5/5 for inside the building, 2/5 for the outside amenities.

Horrendous experience after hotel helped themselves to extra $ on my AMEX for a completely fabricated smoking fee! The GM was arrogant and would not remove the fee. Marriott had me call back twice to no avail. 0 HELP, and we are Silver Elite. Will only be staying with Hilton properties going forward.

The staff at this hotel was very friendly and the hotel was very clean. The cleaning staff is amazing here. The room is large and fairly nice. The mattresses were on slippery wood frames and the mattress slid around very easily. I found this a safety hazard and not the best design. The kitchen area in our room was narrow and not easy access to a sit down and eat table. Also the refill products for shampoo conditioner were not filled as I find an issue with these containers at many hotels. So no conditioner during my bathroom time. The continental breakfast was great and coffee always out. The pool area had an issue with lots of frogs in the pool and around the pool area. This made it a bit stressful for swimming. The pool otherwise had clear water and was clean. The shrubs around the pool draws wasps so that wasn't pleasant either. The parking lot is shared with other businesses and a Starbucks drive thru with cars driving on the wrong side of the road making getting in and out of the hotel a bit of a nuisance. Overall we had a pleasant experience and would return. A few minor adjustments and this could be five stars.

Rooms were fantastic. I was down stairs and didn't want to go back upstairs to get my ice bucket. Fernando said don't worry, I put the ice in cooler for you. Thanks alot Fernando!!! The fresh made cookies everyday were to die for. We'll be back. The ladies up front were great, from the morning shift, afternoon shift and the night shift.

Great hotel and amazing customer service! We booked the hotel cause we went in Plant City for the weekend and we really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are perfect in size, plenty of amenities, very comfortable and very clean. The common areas are nice, comfortable and clean. They have free parking and breakfast was ok and I liked that they had a couple of healthy things for breakfast like bananas and apples. The best part is their staff!!!! Very friendly and always ready to help you. We called a few times regarding our booking before we arrived and workers Cassandra and Corey (Hope I wrote correctly their names) were very helpful and friendly. Check-in was quick and easy. Cassandra and Corey were at the front desk and again they were really good. It was a great pleasure for us to be able to receive such a great customer service! We defo recommend the hotel. The overall experience was really good.

This is a very nice and new hotel. The room/ suite is spacious and efficiently laid out It has a full kitchen, living area, desk, large bath with walk in shower and firm king bed. The view from our room was from the back of the hotel that looks out over woods and beautiful ducks swimming in a canal. The whole hotel is very clean and staff are all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good with a nice variety to choose from. This is definitely a place where you could enjoy staying for an extended period if needed. We were visiting family and chose this hotel for its location. Many restaurants close by, near the highway yet still quiet and very close to our family’s place. We will stay here again! Keep up the great service Marriott!

Amazing location, you have access to the highway. You can go to Tampa, Lakeland and Orlando, in a short drive later to return to this relaxing hotel clean and the employees treat you amazing. Worth the stay.

The room is very beautiful and clean. The very good service and the breakfast we loved too! Better than many hotels I've been to.

We thought this would be a nice "in-between" location for us, because we wanted to do Orlando sights, but also Clearwater beach, and stay in a spot between them. WOW! We underestimated the Florida I-4 traffic, that feels like it's 2.5 hours to get ANYWHERE. The hotel itself was fine, but it's also new, so we expected nothing but perfection. Room was fine, and staff were fine. But, never again at that location. I-4 Traffic is horrendous. We did a 4 day getaway and it felt like we spent 2 of the days stuck in I-4 traffic! Do not underestimate it. Only stay here if you are doing something right near it. That's just my opinion.

Had a great time with the short style here the staff was amazing the hotel was always clean. You are always greeted and handled calmly and in a respectable manner. And major kudos to Katelyn she did an excellent job at making sure my mother felt really at home and enjoyed her stay. Will be coming back again, Great job everyone

This hotel is only 2 years old. Lots of personal touches like round the clock delicious coffee, patio with grills, welcome water bottles and snacks in the room. Amenities are modern. Each room has a mini kitchen with stovetop and nice size fridge with freezer. The location is about 30 minutes west of Tampa. The service was wonderful. I really enjoyed meeting and talking to Barbara who was in charge of the breakfast service. She was friendly, helpful and gave me lots of good tips on the local area. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Very nice place to stay. Except for being lied to about a pet fee, I told them I had a pet when checking in .walking by the front door all weekend they know I had a dog giving him treats and all. I check out check my bank statement and I got a charge of$190 pet fee that is more then I paid per night for the room. I was never told this on checkin she only said she needs a card for accidentals but no charges would be done. $190 9n my card for a pet fee straight up robbery I'm never staying here again what a rip off.

The staff were very helpful and professional. They lived their jobs and were respectful doing my stay. They work as a team, and the hotel was well kept also clean. The location was great, having restaurants and stores in walking distance. I really enjoy my time there.

We stayed for 5 nights whilst waiting for our new home to close. The accommodation perfectly suited our needs. However the best part was the service we received from FOH, HSK and the breakfast ladies. They were all so friendly and proactive. Not very common in today's world. Would highly recommend and if the opportunity arises again we will stay there in a heartbeat.

Beautiful very new hotel. Great location next to the highway and next to a Wawa gas station/market. Felt homey with bbq grill and fireplace outside. Customer service at the front desk was great. The suite was great with a large bed and big window to look at, extremely nice bathroom and large walking shower, and kitchen area. Only downer was the breakfast. The waffle maker was cooking the waffle longer and made it harder. Regardless, will definitely come back when I am in the area for the Keel & Curley wine farm; only 3 miles away.

This is such a nice addition to Plant City! Beautiful outdoor fireplace on the patio, plenty of places to hang out comfortably in the lobby/breakfast area. We loved our room. Super clean, updated, very comfortable bed. We slept really well. The breakfast was delicious. Will definitely return in the future!!

The room was clean... the hotel was quiet... the parking lot was well-maintained with an adequate number of spaces... the location was close to everything. I recommend it if you are passing the area.

Check in was a breeze. All of the staff is friendly and super helpful. The room was fantastic. I had everything I could possibly need for an extended stay. The free breakfast was just ok but I was grateful for it just the same. I would Definitely recommend staying there and can't wait to return.

Responding back to this hotel where me and my fiance stayed at 2weeks ago, yes this is the correct hotel who did not disclose a $150.00 pet fee prior to checking in. Apparently this is a franchise hotel and each Town Suits Hotel is allowed to set their own pet fee amount. $150.00 is a bit much!!!!

The general manager Corey was extremely rude. I booked 10 rooms for my team for the cheer competition at this hotel and over 15 rooms at their sister property Hampton Inn. I woke up at 7:45 am to my card being charged. I picked up the phone to call the hotel and spoke with the GM COREY who adv he was going to cancel my rooms without notifying me. I explained to Corey that had spoken with his sales director and several of his desk staff including his night audit who advised that because we are a non-profit we would not have to pay taxes but we needed to pay with a card attached to the non-profit. They explained we could do a credit card authorization form however Corey started there was no such thing. I explained that no one advised after calling to follow up 3-4 times this weeks. Had I not called I would have been without a room, he was extremely rude we will see how check in goes. I would not recommend based off this experience

The accommodations are new, the staff is the best. We evacuated here from hurricane Ian. Every guest there kept remarking how wonderful the staff was. I highly recommend Townesuites by Marriott in Plant City. All the staff working during Ian deserve a bonus check!

No what you did was not hear what I said that my mother was visually impaired and does not have cards in her name due to my father not being present because he had to fly back home due to not being able to stay for the entire funeral she cannot see and if you would’ve said that she could come inside and you would assist her that would have been top notch service. Again I will contact the ADA and notify them that we received terrible service. I was not trying to rent the room for myself but for my mother who was present in the car but due to me having a small child and not being able to walk her into the building I had to go make accommodations for her. We had even stayed there a couple nights before with the same card information. You can’t do it one day and then change the rules the next either your entire staff has to follow the same protocols or don’t do it and make people like my mom who have a disability feel like you’re turning them away.

This hotel was great. Staff is super friendly. Carlie check me in for my 1 night stand and she was great. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Room are very spacious and clean! Gym is also great for basic workouts and the laundromat came in handy! Kitchen in room has everything you need. Breakfast was good but don’t expect anything fancy, just a basic breakfast. But there are restaurants near by. There’s also complimentary coffee all day. Will definitely stay here next time im in town

Ok so we had to get the house tented for termites(fun, right) and I booked us two nights at the townplace suites in Plant City. Let me tell you if you have family/friends come into town to visit, this is the spot to stay. Very inexpensive, super clean, spacious rooms, yummy free breakfast, free coffee all day that is better then starbucks, and the friendliest staff ever. This will definitely be our go to spot for out of town guests.
