I was supposed to stay there for a week but the property was so dirty and disgusting, I left. The sidewalks were filthy and needed power washing. Dry dog feces on the grass. Inside the room, the carpet was so filthy it was black except the edges. There was a pair of men's underwear and hair tie on the bathroom floor, and no toilet paper. Finally, it smelled. This property needs some serious attention. I was dismayed that that it had a reviewer rating of 3.2. I originally picked this property due to location. You couldn't pay me to stay there. The only upside is that they did process a refund right away.

The room had a funny smell to it and the room need a paint job. I only stay 4 day I only use the room to sleep. Also the A/C is to close to the bed. The price doesn't match the room they need fix up the room or drop the price in half. Will I stay here again I don't think so. The only reason I stood here was because I was in a pinch. The only good thing here it was quite at night. But they have a lot of scratchy people staying here.

BLACK MOLD!!! When we first got there, police cars were in front of the office. When I walked in the guy told me they were closed. I told them I had a reservation. He got me booked in room 246. We pulled around back and when walking to the stairs we had to pass several people hanging out and sitting in their cars. There was a lot of trash and someone's clothes on the ground. When I got in the room my son went to the bathroom and when he came out he told me to look at the bathroom ceiling. It had black mold on it and on the vent. I immediately told him to go to the car as he is allergic to it. There was also paint missing on the wall. As I was walking out there was a cockroach on the wall by the a/c. I went to the office and showed the lady the picture I took of the mold and she was very sorry and she did not hesitate to refund our two nights. She was very nice and understanding. She was the best part of our short stay.

Had a Christmas Eve reservation that I booked through Choice Hotels, using my rewards points. I booked it 3 days prior, and booked a room with 2 beds. I got there to check in before 7PM, and the office was closed. I was told they'd be closing at 10PM. Finally, the maintenance man came around, and got somebody there to check me in. I had been there for 45 minutes at that point. They only had a room with 1 bed, and I was there with my 12 year old daughter. We took it anyway, but the place was a dump. The room smelled awful, Roaches everywhere, nicotine stained walls, and the mattress felt like it was 20 years old. Then, the power went out. We left, and went somewhere else. I couldn't even let them know I was leaving because they were closed. I wouldn't recommend this place to an enemy. If I could give a negative star rating, I would.

This is the worst hotel I have ever seen in my life. Booked here to get away from the hurricane and instead had to retreat this hotel as the extremely black mold was more dangerous. The room smelled so bad that nothing helped. Under the bed was so disgusting and dirty. We left after not even 15 hours of our 4 days booked. All of our clothes smelled so musty, I had to wash everything. I have called choice hotels and filed a official complaint and will also be calling the health department next week. This place is a death trap breathing in the black mold infestation place. It needs to be condemned. I'm waiting for the manager to call as I was told they would. Still no call. I'm an Army veteran and believe me, I've been in really bad places but this is the worst.

Made reservation online.... Encountered car problems en route and we were rather late to arrive... NO employee anywhere to be found for about an hour... After finally entering the office he promptly informed us that they had no rooms available (even tho the reservation had already been accepted and charged to my account...) Needless to say my 2 kids, my 84 year old mother and i spent the remainder of the night in our car in the parking lot... Terrible experience... Would NOT recommend

The rooms are very nice!! The beds are super comfortable!! Not too soft and not too hard!! There's a TV, refrigerator, microwave, stove and coffee pot. A dinner table with chairs, a closet for extra storage and a dresser. I really like it!! Wish they had a pool but glad that I sacrificed and stayed anyway! They're pet friendly also. They get my vote for sure!! Didn't really care for the lady who I spoke with when I first came, she wasn't very friendly. The younger girl who checked me in was much more pleasant.

tons of roaches ,, people aren't joking. I've seen around 7 in one night and they aren't the babies either. you get what you pay for though. nice people and it doesn't look to bad. beds r cozy. roaches r just an insane issue here. things arent cleaned properly either. they don't have a gym. they don't supply dishes or silverware so bring ur own if ur staying for extended period of time. over all not bad for about 60 a night but the roach problem is absolutely pathetic. sanitary wise not even a 3 star but again you get what you pay for.

I was double charged for a room when we had to leave our home for hurricane. I was charged by site I booked on and then charged again on check in. Tried working through booking site to get a refund but they stated hotel would not work with them on it. Room was very small and not the cleanest.

Arrived at Suburban Studios on 10/20/2023 at around 6:30pm for check in, the attendant Stephanie at the front desk checked us in to room 329, room 329 was occupied so we went back to the front desk and told Stephanie, she then gave us another room, room 133. Room 133 was a nightmare with the following problems. 1. The kitchen sink cabinet door was missing on the left side. 2. The bathroom door was busted in on the inside with a big hole in the door plus scratches all over it. 3. There were cockroaches in the room. 4. We found human hair in the bed and in the microwave. 5. The floor was sticky and dirty. 6. The ceiling was leaking water It was too late to book another hotel, so we had no choice but to stay for the night. We checked out a day early because the hotel was disgusting all over. This hotel was nothing like it was advertised to say the least, therefore a full refund is expected. Beware of extended stay Hotels

ROACHES! ROACHES EVERYWHERE!! I will say friendly little fellows they were not afraid of us!! Honestly this place needs turned into health department! I do however want to say Thank you to the gentleman that came at 3am too check us in. He was super polite and tried to accommodate us unfortunately both rooms he offered was infested. If that gentleman reads this I want to say " Thank you for everything. You did your job well it's the hotel that has major problems." ABSOLUTELY DO NOT NOT MAKE RESERVATIONS FOR THIS HOTEL UNLESS YOU WANT TO TAKE HOME UNWANTED PETS - I MEAN PESTS!!

The good: cheap prices, next to a lot of restaurants/stores, management is nice The bad: First room I got had bedbugs so I asked for another one. Second room had unwashed bedsheets (hair and dirt all over them), along with dirty towels with (again) someone's hair all over them. No trash cans. Dusty/dirty room. Smells like cigs everywhere on the premises. On day two of my stay, the key card randomly stopped working. The "free wifi" only allows one device at a time and is probably not more than 3-4mbps (unless you pay extra to upgrade). I was looking for the cheapest hotel I could and this was it. Unfortunately I got what I paid for. It wasn't an impossible stay but it was very uncomfortable. Not recommended.

Worst hotel I have stayed been in for more than 45 years!! The carpet was heavily water stained and should be replaced. The room smelled musky and mold, Lysol did not even help with the odor. Overall dirty and cramped. The bed was up against the HVAC unit. The other side of the bed there was not enough room between the bed and dresser to get by. There were no drain stoppers in the sink and bath tub. The outside lighting was so bright (I assume for security.) that the room blinds (not curtains) were not able to block out the light. And they were numerous people outside their rooms smoking. I felt very uncomfortable staying there.

Run down, dirty and full of cockroaches. Rooms were so small the air conditioner literally touched the bed and blows directly on you. Needles in the parking lot along with old mattresses. Any grassy area is used for a dog toilet and people partying in parking areas. Some guests were suspicious, possibly dangerous. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE.

The outside appearance is clean. There was a few people I definitely distance's myself from. Our room was nasty, the floors turned my socks black. I kept my shoes on. They do have a small laundry room, that was cool to be close to us. The Wi-Fi sucked. It kept going out so it was hard to watch a movie. And my phone would work so slow then the Wi-Fi would go out. I didn't feel safe here. I had a roof over my head but that's it.

Do yourself a favor and NEVER book a room at this terrible location. There is absolutely nothing I can say positive about this dump. If you think you have confirmed reservations, just wait until you get to the check-in desk. This is the worst dump you can ever imagine. Seriously!

Horrible is a compliment. Spooky location. Bad staff. Does not honor reservations. Lies abound. Advised by staff at other hotels that thus place frequently mistreats guests - like 4 times in the last week. Choice should pull franchise. Bad operators

Worst hotel to stay at, if you want to get sick from mold then this is the hotel. Half the hotel sick confirmed by old Co-workers the guest are getting sick one by one and the hotel is blaming the guest when it's the condition of the hotel. I will post pictures and you tell me if you want to stay here

It went under new management and she turned it into a prison. Took the only home away from a family that lived there going on 3 yrs Because of hardship. Wouldn't fix anything that was wrong with the rooms. Left families in rooms with mold in them.

I booked online. I recently traveled from Louisiana back to Florida and quickly needed a place for a few days. The pictures online look nothing like in person. But if you need a place that is reasonable quickly it works. The rooms and appliances are very dated. And they need work. But the staff are nice. I didn't feel safe because of some activities I saw. But did my best to mind my business. I left after about 3 days. Next thing I know I'm being billed $116. I called and was told they didn't know I checked out so they billed me. But no one called me to check. And I did check out the day prior at 1128am. The front desk said he fixed it but I still am waiting on my money back. AND MY bank can see nothing pending. It's very frustrating. The manager is very kind. But I would really have to be desperate to stay there again. We also killed several small roaches and two spiders in our room.
