I went to Barnes & Nobles in Plantation 3 - 4 days a week for 4 months straight studying for a state exam. The place was perfect for what I wanted. It was quiet, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. When I got hungry or thirsty, the cafè was right there to get a bite to eat and something to quench my thirst. BTW, I passed my test with flying colors👍🏽🙂. Thank you B&N!

Thank goodness, in this high tech age, there are still bookstores for those of us who prefer reading from a book rather than a tablet! This Barnes and Noble has been my “go to” store for many years, and they never disappoint! Did some serious holiday shopping yesterday and found everything on my list and more. Enjoyed an iced latte in their coffee shop, surrounded by murals featuring some of my favorite authors. The staff is young and hip, helpful and pleasant, and the store is just the right size to spend time browsing comfortably. They have a pretty good selection of books in Spanish, and I wish they could bring in some magazines and newspapers in the Italian language. You will find lovely holiday cards and wrapping paper as well as an assortment of Godiva chocolates if you need a hostess gift. Plenty of free parking and located a stone’s throw from Macy’s.

This is one of the nicest Barnes and Nobles I have ever visited. They have a very nice Starbucks in the center of store with plenty of seating. I like the way it’s sectioned off and quite unique compared to other stores. The music section has vinyl records, they have a section for legos, games, toys etc. There is seating near games. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I was shopping for chapter books for my 7 yo great nephew and summer bridge workbooks. Jamie (Barnes & Nobles Jr,) advised me to get the series Magic Tree House and my great nephew is enjoying it. She took her time to answer any questions I asked. Debbie was the cashier who checked us out and she was super friendly. She even gave me stickers for the kids. I spoke to Laurie who is in management and informed her how welcomed I felt at this location. I highly recommend visiting this store if in the area. Sure hate our store is not as nice.

Love the place. The coffee shop in the middle is bomb. And the food is good, didn't expect that from Starbucks.

I love this location. Every time I call, I have the nicest employee helping me reserve a book very easily. I was assisted by Sarah. She made my day. I was thrilled when she was able to hold the book I wanted at the register. I was on a lunch break, and it made it quick and easy to pick up. Thank you, Barnes and Noble Team.

Barnes and Noble on University Dr is a place that is worth going and returning every time. The extensive selection of books and magazines is great. I always find what I am looking for on their shelves. Great place to see, select and grab the books in person.

I have been going to the B&N in Plantation for years and have to say the staff is friendly and it is always kept up and clean. Unfortunately, they have NO policies on screaming kids or rowdy crowds. It’s unfortunate that people come here and treat it like a playground for their kids and social hour for gossip as opposed to a quiet place for students and adults to read, study, etc. Ultimately it is a book store not a play ground. B&N should have tighter policies on the noise level permitted.

Great Barnes & Noble to visit. There's a Starbucks inside so you can grab a pink drink and browse the shelves. I went over their vinyl selection and that was a pleasant bonus. Wide range of books to pick from and good vibes in the store. 👍

Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Go there all the time. Plus it has a Starbucks inside. Oh and get the membership its worth it if you buy books often. My book is gonna be practically free because of the points I've accumulated.

As much and as many Barns & Noble's I've been to.... I should have a key. Definitely my home away from home. But I like the set up in this one.

This place is my sanctuary for any bibliophile it is such a gem. What makes it even better is the staff, everyone is so nice in the store and even the staff at Starbucks Justin and the girls didn’t catch their names, are incredibly sweet. The selections are plentiful and the store is always kept well. Highly recommend I’ve been coming here for years and it’s one of my favorite locations.

Always enjoy browsing the cookbooks and puzzles especially for something inspiring. And I love the shaded parking during these extra hot months. A favorite get-away!

I’m only giving it 2 stars because of the nice employees at the Starbucks. I walked in to quickly find a book with my dog and a lady, I’m assuming a supervisor, came racing down the aisle looking for me and told me dogs were not allowed (no signs anywhere and first time I have ever been told this in any location) and told me I’m ruining the customer experience. Her bitter attitude about the situation ruined MY experience, as a premium member. There were definitely nicer ways to express this but she was very rude. If I had the time I would have gone to another location instead of spending my money at this one. I put my dog in my car and purchased what I went there for and a lemonade, the Starbucks staff were lovely, and if it wasn’t for them I would have given this location a 0. I will definitely not be back, I would rather go to a location that’s farther than me or order from Amazon.

I have been coming here for years and I love it! I sometimes go in just to walk around and relax and see if I can find anything new and cool to buy. It’s my peaceful place. I love their journals and candles. Of course all the books you want! lol

Was kinda busy, so i understand the service was a lil weak, but all i asked for was where the travel books were....i got an "over there", with no interaction...the food court in the middle of the buildings a lil annoying while youre trying to do something and the girls yelling out orders to pick up...

Horrible experience with this store. I went there on 01/09/23 to return a planner because I found out the planner was 2022/2023, was planing to get something else . They let me in at 7.59pm but as soon as I went to the cashier a lady that looked like a supervisor with a bitter attitude said that they were closed, come back some other day. Something that would take a minute. And you need a receipt! I don’t have it here, then you can’t return it, I said thank you, she said you are welcome. Very nasty lady. Really ?this should be a place to feel welcome, I go there all the time to buy books or have a cup of coffee. But if they don't care about the experience anymore, you are better off buying from amazon. Not going there anymore.

Great space and calm atmosphere. Close to the mall and other restaurants of you wanted to grab a bite or shop after. There's food inside of this B&N but just a quick bite not a full meal.

The store manager, Alvaro, is awesome! He went out of his way to assist with a previous purchase I’d made. The young man at Starbucks was awesome too :) Great Barnes & Noble location 👍🏽

Every staff member I've spoken to here has been extremely helpful and friendly. The store is huge and you can get Starbucks in the middle of the store. It's everything you would want in a bookstore.

I love that we have this bookstore nearby to enjoy! So many bookstores have disappeared and I'm always anxious it will happen here. Please keep this store open and busy! It's a wonderful place with so much to choose from or you can order whatever you need. Thank you, Barnes and Noble! Nothing compares to a REAL book in your hand 💙

Always great! Good selection, they know their books! Goffee shop personnel not so great. Slow and not interested. One was chatting with her friend who came to visit for 20 minutes while we waited in line.

I'm glad that places like Barnes and Noble still exist, bookstores where people go and read and relax. In this place there is a good selection of books and it is always very clean. inside there is a cafeteria and several chairs where you can sit and do your homework if you are a student.

We decided to get a present for our granddaughter's elementary school teacher. Got her teacher a Harry Potter book & Harry Potter Book Clip because apparently she enjoys the series. Later we'll be purchasing a Dunkin Donuts 🍩 Gift Card because apparently she loves D&D as well.

I like the calm atmosphere accompanied with the smell of books, making it an ideal book lovers home away from home. Plus you can pick up a sweet treat at the cafe! I only gave it one star off of perfection, because some of the books can be a bit pricey and they seemed to be low on stock when I got there. Otherwise it's an enjoyable place to stop by.

The bookstore is well maintained. But, for it to have a Starbucks styled area you'd presume there would be outlets. NOPE. How about no where in the entire building... yep you got it. Had to go to the bathroom to charge laptop and download files. Glad there's a place to purchase good literature but no accommodations at all. Bathroom was clean and the staff was nice. Just was very unaccomidating.

I'm love this B &N location, but my daughter loves it even more than I do. She's a book worm and a coffee lover, so she gets the best of both worlds in one location. It's always clean and neat, with very friendly employees. This location is on university drive close to Broward mall with lots of free parking and restrooms if you may need to use one. The prices on books and other items varies. Go check it out.
