    The only way I give 1star is the attention in the front desk. This company don’t take care the appearance at all. Bathrooms smell like bar or cantina. Terrible experience my appointment was 12:15 just for echo take me more than 1.5 hours here

    The waiting period is unacceptable. My appointment was for 2 pm. I arrived @ 1:15 pm. Waited in a standing line for 35 minutes. Then I was passed over by 11 other patients. It was not until I asked a clerk @ 2:45 pm about my 2 pm appointment. I was called for my ECO @ 3:10 pm. I waited nearly 2 hours for a 10 minute test. The tech was cordial and made the test pass quickly (10 minutes). The room appeared dirty and lacked decorations. It was also very cold. In sum, I am NOT coming back!

    I recently visited this location and my experience was amazing. My appointment was at 7:30am and I arrived at the facility at 6:55am. They opened their doors early to allow patients waiting to wait inside, because there was at least more than 10 people in the waiting area. The lady who checked me in was pleasant and efficient, she multi-tasked like a champ. I was in and out of the facility by 7:25am, 5 minutes before my appointment time, and every single employee was moving. The facility was super clean as well. Overall, my visit was perfect. Thank you!

    This place looks disgusting on the inside looks like it has never received a second coat of paint since they opened, the staff is rude and unhelpful, I had the most unfortunate luck when I had to check in with guisell (who kept calling my husband HENRY his name is HARRY) my husband had a 6:30 appointment it's now 8:23 and we're still sitting in the lobby with "another 45 min wait" why do I have a 630 and I'm still sitting here two hours later ? If you're running behind do you not call your patients to advise them the same way you call them to come in early when you are not busy? People have lives and children to get back home too, absolutely the worst place HIGHLY do NOT recommend coming to THIS location I've been to plenty Akumins and they're all run better than this place

    My ultrasound tech ( Lisa) was great. Very friendly and you could tell she loved what she does. Scheduling was a bit of a disaster. I was told company does not provide any type of confirmation call, email, text, or confirmation number. In this day and age, I thought that was bizarre. I called to confirm my own appt the day off. I was not told there were 2 offices in my town so of course, I arrived (on time) to the incorrect location. The receptionist at the first location seemed well versed in directing me to the other location which gave me the feeling, this happens all the time. The lobby at the second location seemed chaotic but employees were pleasant.

    Nadia was awesome! I was a bit nervous for my scan, her tone was very comforting easing my nerves. I had an MRI done a few months back and the tech, Travis, also did the same with the comfort level. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Akumin is the only place I go and I recommend for a scan.

    I would like to just thank the staff at the center because my experience was great. The check-in was easy and efficient. After check-in, the test was very smooth and quick. The nurse was nice and explained each step she performs. Thank you! See you next year! Happy patient

    I had 2 procedures scheduled. My appointment was scheduled for 11. They didn’t take me until 12:15. After that procedure I had an MRI scheduled. I waited from 12:40 - 1:30. No one came to talk to me. I had to go find someone and ask how long they were going to be. They couldn’t give me an answer. I missed two work calls and had to leave without my second MRI because I had to get to work. I most likely would have been there for 4 hours if I waited. It was freezing in there and no one checks on you. Horrible experience. I had to come back here because they cancelled one of my appointments. Wasted my Sunday. Again long long long wait. It’s freezing in this place. The woman that put in my IV was harsh and had to do it twice. It didn’t look clean. She kept getting blood all over the place. DO NOT COME HERE! AWFUL!

    Check-in was handled efficiently with (mostly) cordial staff. Very short waiting time before being taken in for test. Polite and professional technician. I was treated with respect and kindness. Overall, pleasant experience.

    The overall experience was good. Nice, friendly staff. However, after the Check-in process, I had to wait for 1:06 to be called to make my co-pay, then another 6-7 minutes to be called to the back for the ultrasound.

    My experience today was fantastic. Everything was organized and the staff was professional and very nice. I was extremely comfortable with my tests and will always be grateful on the timeless your business provided. I will always use Akumin for future needs!

    11:00am appointment, had 2 types of imaging to be done(CT&Xray) Also had another order from different doctor for MRI, requested Monday and again Wednesday…was told both times Akumin never received. Show up for my scheduled appointment and ask if request for MRI was in the system(Friday) was told yes, but I couldn’t have the procedure done while I was there “No tech’s available” was they reply I received from the scheduling department …was scheduled to come back on the 5th of December and have to pay another $100…there were techs there for MRI, I was in the same area for the CT and I feel Akumin could have worked me in, if staff really cared to…there waiting room wasn’t packed and I waited 45 minutes to get the other tests done. The only reason I use Akumin is to easily keep track of all my testing, in one place…been going there before facility was changed to Akumin. I really dislike this “sick care” system. I will say that the staff were nice.

    Staff was very friendly and professional. Facility was freezing. I had to wait about 20 minutes past my appointment time. Felt a slight lack of privacy having to walk through public spaces in a robe. Also strange that there is no secure place for personal belongings. I had to leave my clothes and handbag on a desk where people were working.

    When I walked in, I was greeted by busy staff that took the time to smile and say good morning. Which ment a lot to me because I was having a rough start to my day. The medical tech who called my name and walked me through to the room where I was to get my bone scan, was kind, patient and very bright. The tech was knowledgeable in the process and explained in detail what to expect throughout the procedure without prompting. All the staff I came into contact with this morning were professional and treated me well.

    i booked an appointment for an MRI here making it clear i needed the result immediately. they confirmed me that the result would arrive after 24 hours. today, after 24 hours, their office is closed and on the web site it says that the results will arrive in 5 days. this is a real scam. I should never have come here. Be Aware of this place

    Very efficient from my first text describing my appointment and what I needed to do. Short wait. About 15 minutes. Reception had all my paperwork in order and was most pleasant. The two techs whom tested me were friendly and easy going.

    All the staff is attentive and efficient. In the last 6 months, each time I've gone there, I haven't had to wait no longer than 30-45 minutes at most before being called for my test(s).

    Wait time was quite long but the facility was super clean and employees were wonderful. Had a biopsy done and the doctor and nurse were super friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Made me feel totally comfortable and thoroughly explained everything beforehand. Would definitely go back for another test or procedure.

    want to let you know how impressed I was with Giselle’s Front Desk Number 3. She helped me throughout my whole visit. She was very kind and courteous. She guided me and was very attentive. I am so thankful for her. Also the manager of this office I feel so bad I don’t remember her name but I met her in a very stressful situation. I am thankful for her as well. Thank you.

    The check in process was great the ladies were super friendly and kind. My technician was friendly and understanding of my fears. However I am only giving 4 stars because my appointment was at 11:30 I arrived at 11am and I was not called back until 10 after 12pm...my scan did not take place until almost 1230.. I understand things happen but I should have been kept in the loop if they were running behind.

    If I could give this place a Zero, I would. I made an appointment on June 7 for images. The appointment was for today, June 23rd. The registration lady said they've never received the order which the Dr's office verified had been sent on June 7. I took off work and drove to this office for this appointment. Then the lady proceeded to tell me my order was pending. So, they've had it for 2 weeks and haven't done anything with it. She then told me I could not have my much needed images done that day and I'd have to reschedule. It turns out it's Akumin's job to obtain the approval. She basically threw up her hands and said, "you go do what you want." Why on earth would I reschedule there? It was the worst experience ever.

    Registration person was friendly, courteous and efficient. The X-ray Tech, Carlos, was exemplary. He was efficient, did his job well but was also very mindful of my condition after noticing my walker and stiff movements. Very kind and caring. He made, what is usually a painful experience for me, a pleasant one. I was also impressed by the way he treated the other people waiting to be X-rayed. More like people who should be respected and not like dumb cows or sheep. You need more people like him.

    Prior to this appointment I was concerned by the many negative reviews of Akumin, especially in the handling of appointments as well as other complaints. But my experience has been totally positive. On May 16, 2020 I used Akumin's website to submit a request for an appointment. I received a phone call the following day from their scheduling department who confirmed an appointment for May 20 at12:30 pm. I received a confirmation text message the next day. I arrived 15 minutes early as advised and was promptly processed. By 12:35 I was in the X-ray room for the procedure which was complete by 1:00 pm. All of the personnel were friendly, polite, and efficient. The facility was clean and comfortable; their processes were well organized. One more thing; it was very important to bring copies of my papers (doctors orders/prescription, doctors referral, and insurance company approval document).

    I recently visited the Plantation location to get a ear lavage. I was having dizziness and my equilibrium was off. Thankfully, Kenya took very good care of me. She was very knowledgeable and kind. I left feeling much better. Not only could hear better, the dizziness was gone! Thank you Kenya for making my day and taking great care of me. I will definitely visit again because of her great service.

    Fast and easy scheduling. The front desk was very helpful especially when it came to dealing with the insurance authorizing my MRI. And the techs were very friendly and nice. I needed an emergency MRI and they made it happen the next day. INCREDIBLE!!!

    I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews. I was able to make a last minute mammogram appointment and seen a few minutes before my scheduled appointment. I did call to confirm as I do with all my dr appointments. Everyone I spoke to was very nice and I had no issues. I checked in upon my arrival as I was 20 minutes early and I was out the door in less than that time. They submitted the results to my doctor immediately and within two hours my doctor called me with the results. Thanks to all the ladies there. I hope everyone else has the same experience.

    Dolly was able to schedule me literally at the last minute. Susie was very sweet and welcoming.She checked me in quickly and effortlessly. The techs Sherrie and Bill were awesome. Both of them explained the exam thoroughly. Jackie in medical records was as sweet as pie when explaining how long it would take to burn a CD with my image’s. Cheryl was an absolute doll she called me to the window and asked for my id.

    Took me a couple hours to get through to them to book an appointment but I got the appointment for the very next day. the people there are extremely nice. the girl, Carly, who did my ultrasound was one of the nicest people I've ever met. very informative .she made me feel very calm as I am a fainter, so we gabbed the whole time which kept my mind off the procedure. I'm so glad I went to this facility

    I have an overall great experience with my visit. Wait times were minimal and the process was smooth. The receptionist Kris was EXCELLENT. She helped me with my options with my insurance. She was pleasant and patient. My MRI tech was patient and pleasant as well. He helped me not to be overly nervous. I will choose to go back for any needed tests.
