Great ambiance and plenty of shopping. Near the sea as you walk through the shopping center. Feels safe day and night with plenty of lighting and people meandering. Restaurants and retail throughout.

It’s a cute mall that is right next to the beach! It is outdoors and there are coverings but when it rains hard, you have to seek shelter lol! A good range of affordable stores to more expensive! Worth a visit! Playacar ruins, mall, beach! A perfect day

I like the ambiance of this place. The natural plant life throughout the mall added a refreshing touch and made it a joy to walk through. Although I would have liked to see more stores, the mall was still of decent size. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend visiting.

A very nice looking shopping center lots of top end stores, Sadly my experience was not a positive one went to the restrooms and a local tried to pick pocket me lucky for me i felt it and stopped him before he took anything. The whole place did not feel very safe lots and lots of Security guards on the shops and police and Armed army on the streets, not a place that i would rush back too. It looked very nice and was clean and tidy.

This is a great place to shop. Plenty of great stuff and lots of food options. There is a beach along side of the strip but I didn't attend. Lots of people asking if you want blo or smoke as you walk around but they move along when you just say you are not interested.

Beautiful outside patio for evening. Great atmosphere in the evening. If you're expecting Olive Garden, turn around. Everything is à la carte. No fountain drinks, iced tea is clear. We only had spaghetti with meatballs and meat sauce, but it was pretty good. You pay in pesos, so don't freak out when your check comes. They do take credit card, but sometimes it doesn't connect.

The mall is beautiful, the choice of shops are fantastic. But, beware proper footwear is needed. The entire mall floor is covered by a cobblestone brick of some kind. Very uneven and murder if you are wearing flip flops or sandals. We saw several in our group nearly fall and witness several other men and women stumble during 3 different trips through the mall.

Nice meeting place when heading out to our excursion. I didn't visit any shops but loved how they had sail cloths above the buildings to be able to stay out of the rain. Loved the cobblestone streets

No parking lot at the mall it’s the perfect example of the bad planing of the city. The private parking lots around sucks and you need to leave your car keys with them (good luck) you will be better off shopping at Quinta Alegria in constituyentes Avenue. It’s a shame.

Very new and very nice outdoor mall. It's the same merchandise sold by the old street corner vendors but ridiculously more expensive.

A medium-sized shopping mall with various stores (food, drinks, clothes, souvenirs, coffee shops, ice cream, etc.) near the Playa del Carmen ferry terminal. A nice place to stop by for a stroll and for some shopping and a good place to cool down on warm days. Overall very much geared towards tourists, but without annoying hawkers found just outside of the mall.

Lots of great shop making an ideal place for a good shopping experience. Covered outdoor alleys are nice shade and keeping it much cooler.

  • 4/5 Sara H. 8 months ago on Google
Cute outdoor corridor market that leads onto 5th Ave, but don't expect a lot of Mexican businesses. The Paseo contains mostly American mall standards and souvenir shops (Carl's Jr, the Gap, etc.), with just a few cute exceptions.

  • 5/5 stephen r. 6 months ago on Google
Love it here lots of authentic Mexican shops and gifts clothes and food places Be aware that you will have people approach you trying to sell you things and telling you they work at your hotel so you trust them more just be aware.

Beautiful shops/ restaurants but the constant hassle from literally everyone make you tired and iritated, not a bad experience but wouldn't do it again

  • 4/5 Paul H. 4 months ago on Google
Nice shops. A bit too commercial for me, but my son left his luggage behind and Zara was a blessing to fill the gap quickly and predictably.

Walking around 5th Avenue was pretty fun, even in the heat. The shops are nice and sometimes there are street performers to watch.

Great place with plenty of stores to do a little shopping! Zara, Pull & Bear, Old Navy, Krispy Kreme, Starbucks etc

  • 5/5 DANA M. 4 years ago on Google
European style mall with Mexican spirit. Great restaurants and coffe shops in area. Starbucks, Zara, Bershka,Beneton,Harley Davidson,Pandora,Rolex,Omega and many others great breands in this mall. Close enough for everything and with relaxing atmosphere to enjoy part of the day with floral decoration and jungle plants.

Beautiful 5th ave but not cheap

  • 3/5 Keith A. 6 years ago on Google
It's a typical tourist trap....located at the end of 5th st. The stores are nice and well kept and modern looking. The staff are friendly. The stores are pretty much what you'd find in the US, but because your on vacation you end up buying stuff there. As you walk around there and along 5th, be prepared to be asked a lot if you want drugs or a massage. Seems like every other intersection there were people offering drugs and massages....kind of annoying.

Daytime it was great, nighttime not so much but still a good time. Great place to buy from their version of gap and little local trinkets.

  • 3/5 Wendy R. 2 years ago on Google
Good outdoor shopping area. Same as it has been for the past 5 years on our past visits here. Better stores than on La Quinta and other local streets

  • 5/5 Francisco M. 2 years ago on Google
You can find many worldwide famous brands in this mall. If you are in Playa del Carmen, you must visit it.

The first mall you will see if you are dropped off by a tour bus coming from tulum and coba. outdoor elements are nice, design is modern.

Nice shopping center to walk around. Areas around it are usually crowded. Lots of good BB photo ops around mall.

  • 3/5 Alex B. 2 years ago on Google
Great experience at the candy store in the mall. Helpful staff who was very pleasant to deal with. Not so good at another store in mall. They advertised a 2 for 1 sale, but when they rang in our items at the till (separately) it came to less than the price of the advertised 2 for 1 sale. They then upped the price of the items to make reach the advertised price right in front of us! Nope! We opted to not buy here because of this.

Neat little shopping place in Playa Del Carmen. Plenty of places to shop on 5th ave. Could do without all the hustling to come into there businesses. But I understand they are there to make money.

Typical outdoor style shopping, nicely designed and maintained. Lots of opportunities for token touristy photos and fun street performances. Great way to get pharmacy items or souvenirs without haggling, fixed prices and nice items.

Very nice mall in 5th Avenue

  • 5/5 Stefanie K. 1 year ago on Google
Great place to relax from all the other shopping streets around. There is no-one calling you onto their shop or trying to get attention by jumping in your way. It was a small relief entering the mall.

  • 5/5 Diana D. 1 year ago on Google
Very lovely place. A great variety of stores. The selection is amazingly beautiful and of good quality. (Better than the US) for example the Old Navy store, I've never seen clothes so pretty on that store before. They also have a Zara store which is stunning. 🥰😯💯👏

Nice small shopping mall focusing on clothing. Feels secure as all entrances are guarded.

  • 3/5 VIN R. 1 year ago on Google
Nice to visit in the evening to escape your hotel. But a lot of the same shops and very touristic. The mall ends at the mainstreet of Playa del Carmen. OK to visit one time or to eat outside your hotel. Shops itself are not special.

Stopped here on a tour of tulum. Had a great time seeing the entertainment on the beach front and the local mayans interacting with tourists. Very busy and full of life great place to visit for a day trip and for some shopping

I was staying at Wyndham Azteca. From there it's about 20-25 minutes by foot. I think it is a very nice shopping mall because it combines Mexican and international elements. You can find shops such as Old Navy, Nike, Zara. You can sip some Starbucks coffee or go for Mexican food instead. I did not go inside any shop so I can't comment on the prices but it is definitely a good place to go for a walk.
