Went with Pierre to dos Ojos for a dive. It was a great experience. Cave diving is a must if you are in the area! Pierre was friendly, professional and showed me a lot of cool stuff. Blue Life seems like a reliable center. Highly recommend.

I had THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER with Hugo from Blue Life! I was completing my advanced diving coarse with him and had to do a deep dive which made me extremely nervous to think about even doing. But Hugo made it so calming, and fun. He gave me every bit of information I needed and reassurance to relax me throughout the dive. He was kind and patient and I can’t wait to hopefully complete my next coarse with him. The company itself was super communicative and I felt in safe hands. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!

Sean, Christian and the entire team at Blue Life are amazing!!! We did the three day taste of Yucatan (Playa Reef, Dos Ojos/The Pit Cenotes, and Cozumel.) Some of the best dives ever, and the Cenotes were a lifelong goal! Sean ran my son through Advanced Open Water, great price, excellent direction, really fun guy!! Christian was an excellent guide during our Cozumel drift/wall dives, beautiful colors and fish everywhere.

Amazing time with Blue life. Booked a dive package for the family upon a recommendation from a friend and were super impressed. My husband completed Intro Cave with Hugo and had a blast. Fun informative and safe course. My son and I dives at Dos Ojos with Billy and had a great morning out. Small group super safe and a great guide who picked up some amazing burritos on the way. We then undertook a further 2 days of diving at both Cozumel and Playa del Carmen and guided by Mirie ( and dive master trainee). Super lucky on the Cozumel dives as just the 2 of us and the whole boat to ourselves. Great guide lots of care and attention and made to feel very welcome. Definitely recommend Blue life for your dives whether a course or fun dive. Gabby was great in helping with all the finer details when booking and schedules and the rest of the team super helpful at times. Great experience for.our first family dive trip. Sean was my fiancé's diving instructor on his last day of the Advanced Open Water course. I was fortunate enough to accompany them into the jungle where they planned three nitrox dives into The Pit and Dos Ojos. Wish I could share more/better quality photos and videos but our GoPro SD card regrettably malfunctioned. Such a shame. But we have wonderful memories of the halocines, stalagmites and stalactites inside the caverns, the cute coati crossing the road, the iguana (which apparently wasn't 'that' big compared to most haha) and the good company. Spending a day out in the jungle with Sean was like spending time with an old friend - who has extensive knowledge and passion for diving and for Mexico. The tacos and horchata were amazing! Thanks for being so welcoming as I tagged along! Thanks for the music recommendations and for taking such great care of my fiance. We hope to run into you or dive with you again soon! Blue Life was EXTREMELY accommodating, giving me the means to tag along on this gorgeous and tranquil expedition. Since I am not a diver, they were kind enough to loan me a wet suit, snorkel, and mask so I could also explore the cenotes.

Excellent diving in Casa Cenote & Tulum Reef with dive instructor Sean. He is such an excellent instructor: makes you feel at ease, safe and providing us with beautiful & challenging dives. Great local food in between - he takes so much care of us!!

I flew here from Canada because a friend of mine recommended this place to be a great spot for scuba training , so I came and boy was he right! I spoke to a gentleman on the phone who explained everything in detail and was very accommodating to my needs and schedule. My instructor Pierre was really an amazing teacher/instructor. He was very patient, informative and sometimes funny when he tried haha , he taught me everything I needed to know and all the theory that I studied he brought up and reintegrated it into my head so I was a confident diver. Pierre really made my training an enjoyable/memorable experience. I had to book extra training with him, just because I got so much out of it. Great instructor to have , very accommodating and fun to learn from. Everyone at this facility really made my experience awesome.

Dove 3 days with Blue Life. This is an amazing outfit and I 100% recommend them to anyone looking to dive in or around Playa. We dove Cozumel (beautiful reefs, nice drift diving), bull sharks (WOW!), and cenotes (very unique experience, highly recommend). Billy and Mireia were our divemasters during our dives and they were both amazing. Very friendly and fun to dive with, and also very helpful, offering tips to improve our dive technique. Most importantly, we felt very safe diving with them, because they prioritized making sure that our knowledge and skills were up to scratch. Lastly, when one of our dives was a aborted early due to an issue with another diver, Gabby (who works in reception and booking) was incredibly helpful and keen to make it up to us. Once again, 100% recommend this company, and we would definitely come back to dive with them again in the future.

Recently got my PADI open water with Oscar at Blue Life. The experience was excellent. As an instructor Oscar communicated and demonstrated everything very clearly, he inspired calm confidence while diving for the first time which made the experience very enjoyable. I felt I was in a good hands the whole time. I did a total of 4 ocean dives and 2 in cenotes (which I would highly recommend).

My wife and I had a great experience diving with Blue Life. Oscar was our guide and he was amazing! It had been a few years since we last dove but had no issues since he sat down with us to thoroughly go over the dive sites, plans, and our gear. The dives were beautiful and Oscar was great at finding interesting wildlife, coral, and formations. I would highly recommend Blue Life and Oscar and hope to dive with them again soon!

I have to first apologize for this late review! We went diving in May with bluelife and the experience is fantastic, and more importantly, I proposed underwater and she said yes! In detail - before the trip, the desk officer, Daniela, is the fastest and the most responsible people among several dive shops I inquiried. I mentioned that I am planning to propose and she helped a lot in this progress, explaning their packages, ordering system, confirming date, travel details, and she also recommend Olivia, a fantastic underwater photographer for our event! I have the 3 day "a bit of everything" dive trip, including PDC, Cozumel and cenote. The view is definately better that florida :) We got leatherback, countless turtles, rays, lobsters etc. All my dive guides are professional and responsible. My fiancee got her course done in the first two day with Oscar (hope I spell his name right). She was nervous at the beginning of course, and she has a bit sea sick. But Oscar handled everything very well and she got the OW license in a breeze. More importantly, she loves scuba now! Overall, we will definately come back!

Amazing diving school! Everyone is super friendly and helpful. I did my open water certification there with Oscar and he was just the best instructor I could have imagined 🙏🏼 did another cenote dive with Katy and also she was amazing! Every moment with them was just a pleasure. Highly recommend an I’ll definitely come back!

If I could give Blue Life more than 5 stars, I would! I originally was only going to do my Open Water certification with them, but because of the valuable insight and knowledge that they provided, I ended up booking two more extra days of diving and got my Nitrox Certification as well. I had two dive instructors throughout my time with Blue Dive, Wilhelm and Pierre, both of whom were the best scuba instructors I could ask for! They took the time to make sure my knowledge and skills were ready for the open water and cenote diving. Their calm demeanor and composure in the water made me feel safe the entire time, especially when conditions in the water were less than ideal. I'm a big believer of receiving critique, and both Wilhelm and Pierre made sure I received the constructive feedback that I needed to bring my scuba skills to the next level. Not only do they teach you the skills needed to becoming a proficient scuba diver, but they go above and beyond to learn more about you as a person to build a genuine connection, which I 1000% appreciate. If you're thinking of which shop to book your next dive with, you will not be disappointed with these guys. Big shout out to the whole team at Blue Life, Gabby, Wilhelm, and Pierre, you guys rock! Keep doing what you're doing.

We planned a trip to Playa Del Carmen to get my niece her open water certification. My brother and I have been diving since we were kids and that is the hobby we both love the most. We made arrangements with Gaby who is the engine behind the shop. She communicates openly and with transparency and will do her best to help you with anything she can. She even helped my brother find a nearby location to take a zoom video call when our hotel wifi failed to be stable. That is going above and beyond =) The dive masters are friendly and knowledgeable you can tell they absolutely love what they do. They will do their best to make sure you have great dives and they will even match you with people of similar skill level which makes diving even more fun! I started this review sharing our trip was initiated to get my niece certified, but I didn't share she was not able to travel with us. Gaby was able to make the proper adjustments and credits for our dives. Our experience was so awesome that we are planning another trip later this year to fulfill the initial plan of getting my niece her Open Water Certification. That's all I got.... Great trip! I was traveling with my family of 6, 4 experienced & 2 very young (13 yo) and new to diving. Oscar & Mireia were SO kind & helpful for our young divers as well as the extra help they provided to my older father to get in & out of the boat. They were very attentive to all of us to help ensure we all had a great experience at all diving levels! They also recommended the best place for lunch after diving, just right around the corner, El Fogon. It was a perfect day!

During a short trip we booked two mornings of diving with Blue Life. In short, they were EXCELLENT!!! I’m a dive master, having been a diver since 1996 who stopped counting after 1,000+ dives in several countries, and I work with a local shop in my home town. The Blue Life crew absolutely impressed me! Blue Life reached out to us to keep us updated on some expected poor weather, working to provide alternatives in the event the gulf wasn’t going to work out. With a little luck, the west held! Once at the shop, each of the two instructors we worked with on their respective days were VERY attentive without being “in your face”. I noticed them each keep a close eye on equipment set up without being overbearing and offer suggestions or help to people as soon as it was needed. The dive briefings were excellent and their same quality of attentiveness without “babysitting” the divers carried over into the dive. Throughout the dives both instructors showed their familiarity with the sites by navigating to hidden gem after hidden gem. Neither disappointed! I cannot recommend Blue Life enough. The level of experience, professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail was top notch! I look forward to more diving with them in the near future!!!

Great experience! We did a 3-day package and the Nitrox course. The cenote dives were unparalleled—otherworldly, serene, awe-inspiring. Will definitely come back for the cenotes over reef dives when visiting PLC. We dove Chikin-ha, Dos Ojos, and the Pit and will be back for more. We are hooked! Big thanks to BlueLife for making our trip epic: seeing Xibalbá while in the Yucatán! High quality shop. Definitely recommend.

Outstanding dive school. I came to Playa to get my open water and advance open water certifications. Blue life was the most responsive and fairest prices from all the schools I spoke to. We were a group of 4 and they offered us our own dive instructor for the course. We had Pierre and Billie for the second half. They were amazing instructors. explained everything clearly and made sure everyone understood all the information. The dives were beautiful and the marine life is colorful. would definitely recommend taking courses or just diving with Blue Life.

I had an incredible time diving with Blue Life. I did The Pit and both lines in Dos Ojos. The Bat Cave is an absolute must see. My guide Joshy was very capable and I was more confident and at ease with him as my guide. You cannot go wrong by diving with this safety oriented company. Other companies will take your money with no questions, but Blue Life will not do anything that is against your best interest even if it means less money for them. They have an established business with such a good reputation I heard of them by word of mouth all the way up in Eastern Washington. I will be returning here for my future dive certifications and already want to come back. This was an unsolicited review that I am leaving because I want to see a good company continue to be around for many years.

I had 2 amazing weeks with Blue Life. This is the best dive shop I've ever been. After taking me to the divesites of Playa and Cozumel (awesome drift dives!), it was time to discover the cenotes. And I loved each one of it! Car wash, Maravilla, Nickté Ha, Dos Ojos with the batcave, El Pit, Dream Gate, Hells Bells, and many more. It was awesome! The light, the decorations, the clouds, underwater forests, caverns, and the haloclines, it was all mind-blowing. The team is fantastic, I don't speak Spanish but you see that they are having fun. The briefings were clear and the instructors have everything under control. That made me feel calm and relaxed and I never feld afraid or stressed, not even in the dark cenotes. The dive equipment is well taken care of. Even the lunch is fantastic, they know exactly where to go. Burrito, taco, sandwich, whatever you want. Most of the dives I did with Pierre. He is fantastic, kind, calm, patient, relaxed and knows a lot. He knows exactly where to go and when. Most of the times we were alone on the cenotes. He even made the tarantula not scary to me. Lol! Unfortunately I could not say goodbye to him, but he left a message. So nice. Billy, Ilenia and Josh, thanks for the wonderfull dives. You did a fantastic job! Ilenia, thanks for the funny stories and the great pictures you made in Car Wash! Gaby is awesome, everything I asked was possible and could be arranged. Nothing was too much. I really didn't want to go home, you felt like family to me! You made my holiday unforgettable! Keep doing what you do! Big hug and take care guys, I'll be back!!

We had a great time with Blue Life! We completed the open water certification/refresher with Pierre who was an awesome instructor and made the days fun. Our dives in the cenotes were amazing! The Blue Life team took great care of us; we never felt rushed and felt like part of their community. We highly recommend this shop for all divers!
