This place is AWESOME! 😁👍Edwardo Rodriguez and Rebeca were very helpful and speak English, Spanish (of course), and a little bit of German! (very helpful on my first trip to Mexico… Lol lol) They were genuinely friendly and super knowledgeable about their gear. They helped me pick snorkeling flippers & and a small dive knife for my wife and I. No pressure at all. I felt like a local by the time I left.😃👍 The prices were awesome and much better than the two shops I stopped by previously ! I won’t go anywhere anywhere else and I suggest you do the same😉

Great dive shop, the staff are really cool people, the owner is great and the instructors are really professional and environmentally minded! I really enjoyed the course and multiple dives I took here and it was amazing to get so much care from them when we had last minute request for more dives or needed to accommodate a larger group in some dive sessions. We got convinced to do the bull shark dive after some sessions with them and although our group had their reservations on how much impact this activity has for the wild life we ended up mesmerised by it. The instructors and guides carefully explained de why and the preservation focus of this activity. It was a great dive and learning session, thank you all! You saved my dive vacation! I want to thank Erica, Eduardo and Miguel. I was in Cozumel diving last week and on my very first day of diving I ruptured my ear drum. I went to the hospital for divers and the doctor told me I could not dive the rest of the week. I couldn't believe it. I had many ear surgeries as a child and it finally caught up to me. The membrane in my ear has weakened due to aging and a small hole was present in the camera that the doctor put in my ear. I was not happy at all. So my dive buddy went the next day diving and one of the other divers was wearing a special mask (IST ProEar Dive Mask) that also connected to his ears to help them equalize better and kept them dry. The diver was in his 60's and has been using these for over 10 years due to the same issue. I searched all the dive shops in Cozumel and no one carried them. Then I went into the ProDive Shop in Cozumel and Andres told me to call ME Dive Center in Playa. So I did and they had several of them in stock. They had an employee there that was getting off work that lives in Cozumel. They arranged for me to meet Miguel at the local ferry in Cozumel where I was able to look at the mask to make sure the mask was going to work. Needles to say I was in the water diving with no issues the next day. Thanks to Andres at ProDive Shop in Cozumel and the great people at ME Dive Center in Playa they saved my dive vacation. I got in 8 more dive thanks to everyone involved. Thanks again.

My husband and i went Cenote diving with Ana in Aug.2021 and we recently went back again in Dec! Definitely the best people and the best dive shop in PDC. Its much enjoyable when you go diving with someone who loves diving alot! Please visit here if you are ready to fall in love with Cenote diving!

I did my Open Water Diving certification here with Ana and it was awesome! She was very patient and friendly and made it easy to understand something very new for me. I came here with a lot of anxiety (I was actually afraid of deep water) but left confident and ready to dive more! The pool session was very helpful and the dives were fantastic. I highly recommend this place.

Really very disappointed, when I bought the mask the employees left me alone to choose and all they told me was that the mask should stick on my face with suction. They didn't even get up to come and help me or tell me that the mask might be too small for me, they just stared at your cell phone... Very disappointing customer service! I feel like I've been taken in like a common tourist, and not like a customer that a self-respecting company provides to a customer! A company that is professional always does something for an unsatisfied customer, especially when he has been badly advised! And normally, there is a return of inadequate material at least within a period of 30 days...

Wonderful customer service and great prices for quality products! Love my flippers! They have expensive products but also cheaper options, but like I said, quality! My flippers were $25 USD and they are wonderfully comfortable. The owner is a kind charismatic man and the other staff members were so kind and we all spoke about sharks, diving, etc. while trying on products. So it's not like they waste your time with chitchat. There's also a lovely old dog named Susanna. So cute!

Best shop in playa, I bought a dive package and it was super personalized. They even rented me a plate/wing since I prefer to dive that way instead of a bc. This is def a great tech shop as well, they are an exclusive supplier for Apeks down there. Ana is an awesome guide, shes really an expert on the area especially the cenotes since she dives the caves.

The place to go in Playa del Carmen for dive equipment, whether you are looking for a mask or a complete bcd and regulator rig No experience of their courses but they offer a whole range from beginner to technical, in the ocean or cenotes. Apeks dealers for Mexico.

I was on a diving trip in Playa Del Carmen and somehow lost my 2nd stage. Luckily ME had an amazing selection of replacement parts and was able to provide me an Apeks replacement at a very reasonable price. Thanks to ME they saved my trip. Staff was awesome and very helpful. They set up my 2nd stage and went through my reg and checked everything completely. They were extremely well stocked with all top level gear. Selection of Apeks gear was excellent. I would highly recommend going to them for your next piece of gear. Thanks guys!
