Everything was great! They picked us up in an air conditioned van took us to the marina took off in a boat called the Peloma within a hour they found over 50 whale sharks for us to swim with even found some Manta Rays. Cindy made us feel very comfortable. She swam with us and pointed us in direction of a whale shark we got to swim with two that day each group of two. Highly recommend. After they took us to Isla Mujeres for snorkeling and gave us lunch. Then they took us back to marina and back to the Resort.

This is more than a tour- it’s an experience. The whale sharks were amazing, the beach at isla mujeres was the most beautiful all week and it came with a fantastic ceviche and mango to boot. If you go to Cancun during whale shark season and you don’t get a tour, then you’re missing out on a once in a lifetime experience. Ask for Isaac and Cindy- best captain and guide out there. We were truly spoiled on our trip and can’t stop talking about it.

water was choppy but our whole group agreed to persevere with the hopes of seeing the whale sharks. once we eventually made it to where all the whale sharks were, each of us was given multiple opportunities to jump in and swim alongside the whale sharks. while i wasn’t able to snap a pic, it was absolutely mesmerizing and worth the sea sickness. the sharks were so calm and unbothered by the people surrounding them, and it was incredible to see how docile they truly are. after swimming with the sharks we went to one of the nearby islands to snorkel, eat, and wait out the choppy waters. they were accommodating to my vegetarian diet and whipped up some killer guacamole. our guides were so friendly and kept us in the loop, even when they thought there was a chance we wouldn’t be seeing the whale sharks. it was a once in a lifetime experience that i am glad to say i was a part of.

Had the best time with our guides Isaac and Sindy! We saw dozens of whale sharks and I even got to swim with three at a time - had no idea that so many of them could be in one place at the same time. We also saw a pod of dolphins who played around the boat for ages! We swam at Isla Mujeres and they organised Ceviche for us (and catered to dietary requirements - vegan), then snorkeled at a beautiful shipwreck. Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone!

Highly recommend Mexico Whale Shark for your whale shark tour! We had the experience of a lifetime. Our guide Raul and the captain were both amazing, very informative with an obvious passion for the whale sharks. As well as ensuring we had the best experience possible, they were also very conscious of having a safe and comfortable experience for both us and the whale sharks. We were talked through beforehand how to swim with them, and to try and minimise our impact on their habitat which I thought was a great touch. Thanks again!

We had an amazing experience with Mexico Whale Shark! We were abroad the Santa Rosa with Pepe and his father, the talented local captain who was the first to find whale sharks that day. At some moments, there were more than a dozen whale sharks swimming around our boat, feasting on the plankton buffet of the season. Pepe was extremely helpful in guiding us in the water to get up and close to those magnificent creatures - what an unforgettable insight! I accidentally left my Go Pro with precious footage of the encounter on the boat and only realized much later. With the joint effort of Pepe, our wonderful driver Hebert and kind-hearted employees in the office (Rene, etc), the Go Pro was returned the next day to our hotel in Tulum. Many thanks!!
