👍👍 I happened upon this beach by accident one day, about 7 years ago. The kids I nannied for, my daughter and I had visited Jelly Belly. When I couldn't find a place by the water for lunch, we picked up McDonalds and drove down the street and I said I was going to turn down the first street I can see... People often mention beach,

I happened upon this beach by accident one day, about 7 years ago. The kids I nannied for, my daughter and I had visited Jelly Belly. When I couldn't find a place by the water for lunch, we picked up McDonalds and drove down the street and I said I was going to turn down the first street I can see the lake. This was such a great find. So beautiful and quiet. I was afraid it was only for the subdivision, but I saw other Illinois plates, and figured we were good. I loved how close the parking was to the beach. There was a port a potty when we had gone last. We named this beach Jelly Belly beach, since we had gone annually the next 6 years til covid hit. The last time we went, the area of the beach we normally would hang out, was under water. (Screensaver picture) Glad to see there is a beach this year. (although seems pretty rocky) Will definitely be making a trip this year. No Jelly Belly though.

The Beach is rocky and recommend water shoes, but this is my favorite place to just sit and enjoy the view.

Clean, nice looking beach. Not too secluded. The rocky, pebbled beach is terribly painful on bare feet though.

Small beach on Lake Michigan. Breezy, whitecaps on the water, good-sized waves. Lots of cool rocks!

I feel such calm here. It's a small beach area and limited parking. Last time there I picked up some trash people left behind and there's a trash can there

Calming and scenic. Dog-friendly waterside. Not for swimming as the tides were very strong, crashing against the rocks.
