Volleyball tournament. Total chaos. Spectators walking around and next to players. Serving players are lock of space!! The referee stops play and waits for the kindly spectators to pass by allowing the players to play. Another walking spectators…. Food court serving cold hotdogs and wet pretzels. Who choose that place for whole day tournament??? And it’s freezing cold.

Don’t waste your time or money if you are only here for a short time. Paid $45 for a temporary membership. Came to use the facility & all the water features are closed. Asked for a refund & they refused to give me one. So, I’m out $45 for a membership I never used. And even if you pay for a membership, you have to park across the street like 1/4 mile away. Which is fine in nice weather, but when it’s snowing, that is quite the walk. Anyways, don’t bother getting a temporary membership here.

I had not been here in years and was pleasantly surprised at the updated equipment and cleanliness of the facility! However, I have forgotten to bring a towel a few times and go before work-for the price there is no reason they cannot supply towels. Especially considering there are typically 2 or more girls at front not doing much of anything besides checking guests in. Locker rooms could use some updating as well.

I called member services in May of 2023 stating that I will be moving in June and need to terminate my membership. I was instructed to fill out the termination form online. I moved 45 minutes from the gym and was denied early termination. After multiple email correspondence, requesting for the manager to reconsider since I would not be able to even go to the gym given my schedule and distance I was still denied. I ended the conversation requesting that I receive a statement of payments since my membership began for my records and that was that. Within the email I stated that I filled out the instructed paperwork and that I had moved and would no longer be able to attend the gym. It is now at my 'year mark'. Thinking I would no longer have to pay for a membership I cant use, I was charged again. Upon calling the gym I was instructed that the form I filled out in May was for early termination and that I needed to resubmit a new form stating yet again I would like to cancel my membership. $83 may not be a lot to most. However, to me that is money that could be used to get groceries or other essential needs. I have been a member with this gym off and on for quite a few years. To say I am extremely disappointed is an understatement.

This is a great rink with a lot to offer. I am not sure how old this facility is, but it is well kept and a nice place to play. Both of the rinks have good ice and a nice viewing area for all the spectators. All areas of the rink have been really clean when we have been here even the locker rooms which is usually unheard of. They just need to open the concession stand more and all will be good.

Do not workout here if you plan on using the gym daycare. I was a member for 2 years here. I left in January of 2023 because I had had enough of their daycare staff. Specifically Brenda who works almost every morning shift. There are a lot of younger kids (3 and under) that come in the morning and she is clearly not fit for her position. There is no “fun” allowed in the morning. All she does is yell and follow around the kids correcting their every move. Constantly putting them in time out. I understand kids are no perfect and their behavior needs to be managed but she is just not nice to children. And everyone can feel it. My 2 year old would act out SO much more when she was working vs other employees. Well I am writing this review now, 8 months after I left because the gym I currently go to had to close for a week for maintenance. So I decided I would workout at the Recplex for a week. I paid $210 for a WEEK pass. Absolutely ridiculous price. I asked if I could just buy a membership then because it would be cheaper to just cancel after a month of use and they said their minimum term commitment is a year. Still I joined and my kids were so excited to see their friends they had not seen in months. Well after my week pass I was notified that Brenda was gloating to other staff that she gave my 2 year old a “write up” for hitting. Excuse me, what? I didn’t receive any write up for him. Not only that but who the f writes up a 2 year old? Anyone with any type of experience in working with young children should know that that is what toddlers do! Show them the right thing to do and move on. So again, unless you want to pay a disgusting amount for your membership, on top of that deal with staff who don’t care about your kids and talk poorly about your children then by all means join this gym! I am so happy my week pass reminded me why I left.

I got a membership about seven months ago for me and my family. As much as we all enjoy the facilities. For the cleanliness and the abundance of things to do. This is my 3rd Monday morning not being able to use the sauna before work. Of all days....Mondays!

Tried cancelling my membership multiple times, recex will not reach back out, i was told I could cancel my membership at any time as long as i did so before the 16th of the previous month. Sent numorous cancelation requests. Was lied to when returning to be a member. Will never set foot in that place again because of bad customer service and predatory membership practices. I wish I could leave less stars

Great time for the kids and open swim. Water in water park is just deep enough for little kids to have fun with the big kids.

Really rude front desk workers who clearly hate their jobs. Hot tub broken and they charge you extra for things like parking and a locker. A total joke and waste of money. Check out the YMCA across town for a cheaper and nicer experience

Been a member for Almost two years. Tried to cancel my membershit and they won’t let me. When becoming a member I was told that I would just need to cancel my account prior to the 19th of the previous month. They are requesting I get a drs note or proof I have moved more than 60 miles away from the complex to have the right to end my membership, on top if that they are trying to have me pay a early cancellation fee of $50. The facility is nice but the sneaky policies and predatory business model is not something I wasnt to be a part of. I’ve been a member for almost two years, took a break for a while and came back. The photo below is what they don’t tell you when you become a member, I’m sure it’s hidden in fine print somewhere. When Signing up to be a member I was specifically told by the person behind the counter I could cancel my membership as long as I did it before the 19th of the previous month. Please Cancel My membership. Is it standard practice to lie to a prospective members face to get them to become a member, Cancel my membership

Used to really like the place but the water park is outdated on aesthetic, the sauna benches are all damaged and for the price I’m paying in reality I only get a small gym room and the amenities is what adds the value. It’s a cool spot to check out but I’m def not renuewing for the sake that as someone who goes solo it’s not worth the price if you’re only gonna use the gym and sauna section of it. You’d have to really have kids that do every sports for this place to make sense. Only recommend for families and I don’t appreciate their hidden cancel fees and requirements to canceling since I did move 40 miles away but they said 50miles is what’s needed. At the end of the day they’re an ok place but I wouldn’t make it a forever gym. Good “luxury” feel to get you started and having fun at the gym.

Just got a membership, friends recommended this place to us. It is out of the way to us, but we have been liking it. Weve been using the water area mostly, and track to run. Been great. The only thing i suggests, maybe fix the drying machine for swimsuits, it malfunctions.
