The building has been renovated both outside and inside - the layout of the paintings and the current exhibition is great, I highly recommend a visit!

Worth a look for the works by various Bulgarian artists. One floor of modern and one floor of more traditional paintings.

Отделете си поне два часа, за да се насладите на престоя тук. Още от стълбите към сградата ще бъдете посрещнати от големи конструкции и статуи. Вътре ще откриете още от модерното изкуство, но чак на мансардния етаж. От входа разбирате, че сградата е историческа забележителност за Пловдив. После виждате гардеробна, сувенири, книги за изкуството..., тоалетна (и за инвалиди), малки стаи за работа с ученици, а нататък дори в коридорите и покрай стълбищата ще откриете скулптури и картини. В преходните зали има подредба - тематична или по художник. На едно място забелязах електронно устройство, в което да прочетете сами биографията на твореца. Всичко е ново, добре осветено, чисто, топло, модерно... Служителите са много и всеки има какво да сподели. За по-дълго пребиваване в залата имате огромен остров за сядане в центъра. Децата си посядваха и на паркета. Навън има пейки и чешмичка. До сега съм идвала три пъти, но в старата версия на музея. Този му вид ще ме накара да го посещавам дори още по-често.

Excllente gallerie sur plusieurs étages. De très beau tableau de tout style et courant. Amenagement aussi pour les enfants.

Great art museum! It had a nice selection, and I believe it cost four leva for adults and two for students, though we visited a few weeks ago so that could be wrong. Either way, it was not very much of a fee, and definitely worth it. I saw so many beautiful paintings, and I would love to go again next time we are in town!

The beautifully and with respect to its heritage renovated building of the gallery offers four floors of art- predominantly Bulgarian one. Particularly liked the second and the third floors. There is an elevator inside, but reaching the gallery from the outside requires climbing a lot of stairs - so be aware of that if you are coming with a stroller or wheelchair. The family ticket is 8 BGN.

This is a fabulous city art gallery. They have collections of mostly Bulgarian paintings with just a few sculptures, although there are some works from outside Bulgaria as well. It is beautifully presented in a really nice facility. I would highly recommend that anyone visiting the city stop in at this gallery. It's very inexpensive and can keep you engaged for an hour or two.
