This restaurant holds dear memories for me because 5 years ago we held our wedding party here. But it isn't what it used to be. Today we visited and it was incredibly disappointing. We were the only table in the restaurant. The waitresses were more interested in chatting to each other than watching our table. We had to get up from the table constantly to receive service. The waitress even forgot our wine. The meal cost twice as much as any other we had in Plovdiv but the service is so below the standard for a fine dining restaurant, or any kind or restaurant. Each time we visit, the service and food get worse. Unfortunately, this will be my last visit to Atlas. The food was also disappointing. What used to be fresh, delicious produce turned into delightful dishes is now lacking. The tuna salad was fairly standard. It was just all very unremarkable.

I usually shy away from restaurants located on the main touristy pedestrian areas; however, the reviews intrigued me, and I was NOT disappointed. Besides the local view, my lunch was delicious and fresh. I asked my waiter for his recommendation I could not have been happier. I had beef with a cold puree of carrot and broccoli. The beef was tender, flavourful and fell apart with the touch of my fork. I treated myself to a slice of the garash cake and it was surprisingly light and melted in my mouth. Great food, service and location. I highly recommend.

Food was presented beautifully and the flavor was very good. I would recommend the calamari along with the tagliatelle with prosciutto for lunch. They have a very nice breakfast and the most exotic coffee in the world if you desire. The cheesecake is a nice dessert and not too sweet. The interior ambiance is wonderful for any occasion.

Für das Atlas Restaurant haben wir uns entschieden, weil es zu dem Zeitpunkt das einzige Restaurant am Stambolov Square war, wo wir nicht nach einem freien Platz suchen mussten. Die Einrichtung mit reichlich goldfarbener Zierde ist für meinen Geschmack zu sehr Schickimicki. Das mag Menschen mit dicker Brieftasche ansprechen, ich empfand die Atmosphäre als steif. Die Verständigung in englischer Sprache war schwierig. Außerdem wirkten die Mitarbeiterinnen geistig abwesend und unorganisiert, aber zumindest waren sie nett. Wegen der bevorstehenden Abfahrt unseres Zuges hatten wir wenig Zeit und entschieden uns für Salate als kleines Mittagessen. Sie waren schön hergerichtet, aber geschmacklich schwach. Damit bleibt als mein Eindruck vom Atlas: Mehr Show als Substanz.

The interior is very nice, and the menu has a lot of options on it. We were arriving late in the evening so we ordered ahead, and unfortunately our orders got mixed up and we ended up getting the same food for each course. The waiter was a bit abrupt when serving, but overall the food tasted nice.

Lovely restaurant in the centre of Plovdiv, with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is traditional Bulgarian food but reimagined and made even more presentable and tasty. Although it is kind of gourmet, the prices are not too high

Disgusting! They try to get the money out of you by giving the smallest quantity of food I've ever seen. My friend vomitted his rotten salmon dish 20 min after the restaurant . We've decided to make a complaint to sanitary authorities. Don't go there, they hijack your wallet pretending to be gastronomic

The location of the restaurant is perfect if you are looking for a place on the main pedestrian street just across the fountain and the municipality building. The interior is cozy and the staff is friendly even though not enough trained. I tried the double burger and left very disappointed of the quality of the meat. I asked it medium to well done but it was quite well done even hard to cut it with the knife and very thin sliced. I do not recommend the burger in this restaurant. The restaurant does not provide chair for kids.

Service is very professional, food is fine - above the average quality still can be better. We compare to another restaurant with same price range just the next street. The best plate of the 4 below was the salad with truffel ravioli, the less tasty was the pasta according our perception. The chicken came pané and I don't remember if it was mentioned in the menu. To be tasted again with another dishes.

It is a review I owe the restaurant. I should've done it on June 27, 2018. I highly recommend this restaurant!!!!! I had breakfast and dinner here.The environment is super cozy and food is very well done. The staff are extremely friendly and professional. I felt very warm and relax in this place. And the most importantly, I won't forget the big helps the staff gave to me as I just traveled to Plovdiv by chance. LUV LUV LUV LUV LUV

The salmon egg benedict came with a burger bread instead of a milk brioche: not suitable for breakfast. The french fries were missing. The crème brûlée was not brulee. The menu description is not respected, the ingredients are of low quality, and we waited a long time for the dishes to arrive. Otherwise, the waiters were all professional and polite.

Only the bartender met us well, We waited for the menu for 10 minutes, During this time, the waiteress, who seated us at the table in a rather unsatisfying manner, walked past us 5 times and ignored us. We got up and left! I will never enter again!

I had the chicken filet with mashed potatoes and carrots. It was delicious! Highly recommend!

This is our second time here for brunch. A year ago food was good and tasty. Now quality is deep in low. All the products are "cash and carry" store standart. They serve a tea with honey that is the cheapest you can buy from "cash and carry". I ordered Egg benedict, there was a egg over cooked and buns are not brioche they just bought regular burger bread with sessame. It needs to be served with french fries as mentioned in menu. No french fries... definetely not recommended place.

I liked visiting Atlas as convenient and well priced. Like other reviews I don't normally eat at places in centre town squares,due to prices. But Atlas presented some great food at affordable prices. The chicken on two of the meals was really good. For a light dinner try the "stewed"chicken, Don't be put off by the title,(I think it got lost in translation,but is more like steamed chicken parcel.)very tender, excellent.

If you are looking for warm, friendly service with a smile then this place is not for you. Clearly this restaurant survives despite high prices, average food, cold atmosphere and poor service purely because of its location. In case there would be any healthy competition in the area this place would be closed within months!

Very low quality of food and service, older waiter wasn’t friendly and welcoming at all, they forgot about my drink and desert (cheesecake with ice cream) was smelling with margarine, we haven’t finished it. The only nice thing was the interior design, cozy, nice music. But don’t recommend for food.

Excellent interior, presentation and service, everything we tried was good and fresh, but given the level of the rest of the experience, one would expect a bit more taste-wise.

The food is great, we had some salads and the best bao buns! The interior is very pleasant as well, but they can work on the service.

I took the homade ravioli with mushrooms mousse and truffle sauce. It was so delicious and well served. Very good Hugo cocktail too.

Very special place in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. The interior is reminiscent of classic Vienna. Very friendly professional staff. Gourmet dishes combined with classy wines.
