I decided to do this house as part of the 15 leva for 5 places ticket. Not as impressive as the other houses in town but a wonderful experience overall. This was a functioning apothecary beginning wih the 1870s and until after World War II. Back in the day medicine was based on natural ingredients and you can see on display some of the utensils used in the craft.

(Translated by Google) A small museum, slightly in countries by theme and essence of the others in Plovdiv. The exposition is interesting, but there are no information boards. Get a pamphlet - it will be your main source of information. (Original) Малък музей, леко в страни по тематика и същество от останалите в Пловдив. Експозицията е интересна, но липсват информационни табели. Вземете си памфлетче - то ще ви е основния източник на информация.

Lovely little museum A nice little old house museum full of old pharmacy products and a very pleasant guide. It's on the 5 places ticket, and a nice change in pace - probably only about 10 minutes of time.

The Bulgarian Revival period of the 18th and 19th c. Is a time of economic, political and cultural upheaval. A time when the national spirit has gained the hears of rich and poor, young and old, and when the greatest men with a mission in Bulgarian history were born. The merchants and craftsmen from Plovdiv of the period had a mission too. Reaching out to developed foreign countries and cultures has changed their style of life. They have embarked on a competitive journey building new houses and thus brought vinrant life back to the three historic hills

This museum is one of a kind - small but rich in history. It has collected instruments and equipment needed for making pharmaceutical products in the twentieth century by hand. There are syringes, bottles, trays and even samples from aspirin from the beginning of XX century. The museum's guides are always ready to welcome you warmly and tell you the story of everything inside. There is even a small backyard where some herbs and other plants are grown which have been used for medical purposes in the past.

Small place, interesting objects and herbs from the pharmacy used over a century ago. The local Host is somewhat lackluster but tries her best to explain some of the background.

Interesting place, however, a bit more information is needed.

This museum is among the options of a combined ticket for 15 levs, which includes the Balabanov house and 6-7 other museums. Information about the history of this pharmacy is explained at the entrance, but I would like to see some information boards inside the museum. In general, I really liked looking at the oldest pharmacy in Plovdiv, very atmospheric.

So interesting and beautiful. We chose it from the combo of tickets that you can buy at tourists info point of the city (it’s in old town also). Maybe more attention to the visitors would be nice.

The program displayed on Google Maps is inaccurate. It closes around 5 pm, during summer days. Be advised if you make any plans!
