Absolutely delightful hotel. The hosts are very hospitable and think of everything. They greeted us with freshly squeezed juice and coffee. Showed us a map where to go and what to see. There was also wine and cheese in the evening and a very delicious breakfast. The rooms were comfortable and they have 9 different kinds of pillows you can request. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were full of antiques in superb condition. Location is excellent - in the old town, but super close to the Kapana and the main pedestrian street. I highly recommend it

Very friendly owner and staff, felt very welcome. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Really good breakfast with vegan and vegetarian options available. Check in late at night is very easy, you will get detailed instructions how to do so. Can definitely recommend!

A beautiful hotel in a historical, traditional Bulgarian house. A very warm welcome, wonderful ambience, terrific breakfast, all in the magical area of Plovdiv old town. You won't go wrong if you stay here. Very highly recommended.

We had the Superior Quadruple room for one night. it was super! The room is two rooms connected with a door. One double room and one twin beds room. It was highly convenient for us as we were couple with a teen son. The hotel is very nice, decorated with a lot of ancient stuff that generate the right atmosphere. Everything was clean, team was very welcoming and helped us a lot. The location is great. Right inside the old city. We had no problem with parking.

We stayed here three nights and found it a good base for visiting Plovdiv. The attractions and the hip Kapana section are within walking distance. It is easy to catch public transport as the hotel is on the edge of the Old Town. The rooms are fine. We enjoyed both the breakfast in the morning and the wind and cheese at night.

We spent three days mid-August here, and can highly recommend the location. It is a quaint little place, clearly decorated and maintained with consideration and care. The breakfast buffet was simple, but with delicious and well-chosen food. Absolute highlight for us. Prices for the beverages based on the honor-system were low, much appreciated. The proprietor and his staff were friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and very helpful. I had a car issue that needed sorting out, and they volunteered good suggestions and their help over phone if we’d run into any trouble. The location is perfect for Plovdiv: just cross the street in an underpass, and you are in the buzzing “Trap”-part of the town, with plentiful of food and beverage options to chose from. Or just turn the other way and explore the old town. So we can’t highly recommend this place enough!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is incredible, right in the old town and immediately next to the underpass to the Kapana entertainment district. The room was beautifully furnished and quaint. And the complimentary wine and cheese in the evening was the perfect touch. The owner Hristo was exceptionally helpful and hospitable. The breakfast was amazing, as was the homemade apple juice and lemonade. We definitely want to return!

The place I always take my friends at. It has excellent service and the most welcoming staff! My friends tell me that the rooms are so cozy and comfortable that they remind them of home. The prices of the stay totally resembles the quality. Moreover the hotel has a great location giving you the opportunity to visit the important historical monuments. My friends keep in touch with Hristo and are planning to come again this summer!

Our stay at Evmolpia was splendid. It was like visiting a museum and being allowed to sleep in it! The hotel manager Hristo Giulev personally looked after everything and seemed passionate about what he does. He was exceptionally friendly and hospitable to us. The hotel is located right at the edge of the old town, just before Kapana district, which makes it perfect to discover Plovdiv. (The home-made lemonade there is the best in the city, if not BG)

A Jewel in the heart of Plovdiv. We spent three wonderful days in this hotel. Everything about it is amazing.. it has been decorated with much style and taste, everything thought to the smallest detail. The beds are super comfy, bed linen is very fine and bathrooms -sparkling clean. Situated in the heart of Old Plovdiv it’s really close to all attractions and most importantly, close to the district with best bars and restaurants, just two minutes away. Hristo and Velislava are the perfect hosts. Took good care of us and provided us with everything we needed for our stay. The complimentary wine and cheese is quite a nice touch. The breakfast is more than delicious.. made us feel quite at home.

This place is amazing, the location is great and the interior design is simply stunning. The owners are so thoughtful and nice, always helping and making sure we're okay. Made us feel at home straight away and our stay was lovely and memorable. Definitely will be coming back!
