lovely place, excellent service, tasty lithuanian food, menu have dishes which depends to old lithuanian or samogitian cuisine like cibulyne, kastinys, smakalas.

Oh. My childhood restaurant to go and eat here. After more than 10 years, I still come back here to eat. Mostly it is Lithuanian cuisine, but definitely worth trying. Prices are normal, but it provides great money value

I could definitely recommend eating at Karčema. It has this tradition Lithuanian vibe and many dishes to compliment that feeling. I personally didn't like the onion soup (it contained herring) but this is mostly a matter of taste and wrong expectations. The menus have an English translation underneath every dish, which is obviously very useful for non-Lithuanian speakers. I am not sure whether the staff was capable of speaking English since i had the luxury of being with some locals that ordered my dishes. It's very affordable too. I paid around 8 euros for soup, potato pancakes and 0,5L ice tea. Again, I would recommend it to anyone visiting the region.

my plate was very dirty, it looked like it hadnt been washed for at least three weeks! i ate zepplins and what can i say, they were one of the worst zeppelins i ate. the meat was so hard, that it hurt my jaw to chew. the potato was also so hard and it tasted as if it wasnt even boiled. the table i sat at was very shaky and i think it was broken. also there were spiders crawling on the table and hanging from the ceiling. i think they were trying to get in my zeppelin. even though the zepplin wasnt the best, the service was a little bit awkward, but fast! and they gave bibi candy here after paying.

Beautiful gardens and unique oldish lithuanian style suroundings. Years ago food was delicious, not anymore. Prices are high. Been served by two girls, one of them was lovely, polite and friendly the second one so rude with her facial expressions, felt like she doesn't want to work there. Knife was old and broken. Kids loved pancakes.

I like this place. Would come again. The food is okay, definitely not disgusting, fullfilling portions, mostly traditional and reasonable prices. Very nice. Service was super fast, since they contact the kitchen at the same moment they take orders, so almost before we have finished our order, the cold drinks came already. Other dishes come fast as well. Karcema offers many things. They bake their own bread and other bakery, quite delicious. At the site, there is a sauna feature, you can also book an evening here together with a group, sleep in beds etc. Some ponds. All old and woodcrafted items, children playground or a swing for adults too. Even the deer family of around 20 members! I think its an excellent place to spend a day, gather up, or if you want just to stop for a fast lunch, there is a quick menu for that too! Located just besides the road, cant miss.

Place is huge, very nice inside- welcoming. Shame that was rainy day I could have check around which they have so much more to offer. Lots of parking spaces. Fire place inside with hot stones I believe they are cooking on them . Portions are big enough and nicely looking. Prices definitely great ! Good Lithuanian kitchen. !! I wish waitresses would be more active let’s put it this was it was not even busy .

Cozy place and quite okay food with rather big portions. We got our desert almost at the same time as the main course so it was a bit of a rush to finish your steak before ice-cream with the desert melts. Might come back on a less busy day. The environment around the restaurant is beautiful, worth to take a walk after the meal. There are places for kids to play around if you're traveling with a family.

My fourth time visiting Karcema. Very nice experience, food is lovely and my favourite is Chili soup with some extra bread and hot wine! Looking forward coming to Plunge again!
