Famous and popular place in the past, known for good quality and price balance - not anymore! Good quality now is below average, however prices are on top range. Respect yourself and don’t waste your money. There is many other places around, where you can spend same amount of money for much better food quality, service and experience.

Beautiful location and interior. Very well designed. The food and staff were decent. The atmosphere was a bit dead but that's because I visited during the off season. But I like the vibe of this place.

Score of three to reflect how average it is. We came with the family with a bit of expectation as we visited Vandenis 4 years ago. Perhaps the management or the owners changed but it's a different place now. It's much larger, well equipped and decorated (definitely lots of investment), but the menu gone down. It's largely traditional Lithuanian cuisine. Some dishes were good, but some very average. Our group was disappointed by service. Half of our table was still finishing our starters when all of our mains arrived. It felt they were rushing us out. Otherwise the service was good, just too efficient. If you want efficient and largely good food in a nice outside setting - that's the place for you. If you expect some special taste or meals - avoid it.

Loved the interior. Modern interior mixed with old style concert posters. Monkey 47 Gin cocktail was really well made. Only one spot better that made better gin tonics is Sanatorija Gin bar in Vilnius. Prices are higher than other places in Palanga to eat but portions, waiters are really good here. The only thing I missed was salt on my cepelinai and potatoes with my cold beet soup.

This restaurant has become into something below average when it comes to food. We've been visiting very frequently in the past several years and the food has been ok before, however this year it's gone really bad. There is literally nothing to eat, dumplings always come cold, pasta always overcooked, fried bread never crispy, biggest joke is the "Caesars" salad which is just some regular salad with tomatoes. Everything hugely overpriced for what it is. Would not recommend.

Poor quality food and hugely overpriced for what it is. We were wondering if chef turned up to work that day. Staff were nice and polite but seemed stressed. It was sad to learn waiters have to pay customer walk out bills… we were only one evening in Palanga, so it’s a shame we spent it in this restaurant, we should have walked away.

I went yestetday and ordered the pasta bolognese, it was the dryest suace i ever had and the meat was not mince, it was like powder, i am not italian, but im sure any italian would cry if they saw this dish. There was also some of the pasta was burned black, strange how the cook the pasta.

Not many vegan options, but beet salad without feta was really good. Also bruschettas with tomatoes are nice.

Despite bad reviews, we were pleasantly surprised by the restaurant. Food was very good for our taste. Prices average for Palanga. So all in all a good place to eat.

Beautiful location with a nice terrace, amazing place to eat! All meals we tried were delicious.

Following our first off-peak visit that we enjoyed immensely we decided to visit it again during peak hours, that did not go as well as our first visit. Service was less than perfect to say the least, we received our table water around half way through our meal although we requested for it to be served ASAP, our server seem to be all over the place and less than attentive to say the least, i assume because he was overstretched and as a resul we felt neglected, but worst of all he didnt even bother to advise us that BBQ chicken (saslykas) is served without any fries, rice or bread (that is a crime in itself) when he took our order and while he was as quick as he could be bringing fries (they are best fries i have ever eaten btw) we ended up eating chicken luke warm, our soup was also served luke warm and cheese balls (surio spurgos) was nowhere near as well made as the first time round, most likeley because kitchen was also overstretched. As a result i have downgraded our experience from 5 stars to 4 stars and i would advise to visit it off-peak time for best experience

Food is good as always, but it was the staff that made our dinner amazing. Waitress with glasses was not only quick with the order but was also extremely sweet with our little boy.

Came with recommendation to have some lunch. Less than Average food + found a curly black hair in my soup that I had to pay for. 😏 Asked for butter, got the lard, that we ‘be refused right away, also had to pay for it. Won’t be back.

Terrible service. Not enough staff. Never coming back. 4 tables around us complained about service and a wait time. Our food never came at all after 1 hour so we have to leave without eating. No apology was made by staff or manager.

Saltibarsciai horrible old, rotten potatoes. Bad service. They look entitled. May too expensive. Kijevo kotletas i could get much better take anywhere else and cheaper. Overall taste does not meet the high price. Too overpriced. For rich fokes who dont understand taste.

Got nothing to say about the food because we never got to taste it. We waited for more than an hour for the staff to completely fail to communicate to us that the food had already been prepared only for it to be forgotten on the pass and gotten cold. We had to chase them around to have some kind of update on our food. I don't blame anyone else but management and the poor quality of training to the young waiters, who clearly weren't enjoying their work with so many angry customers. Complete disaster of an avenue and they should be ashamed of the way their restaurant is performing. Such a pity since the location is fantastic and the overall space is gorgeous.

Sad experience, restaurant was understaffed. Waiters were exhausted, people angry that no one is bringing menu. After waiting 30min to get our order food came pretty quick, but that was another disappointing experience meat was really dry and not worth the money.

High prices, food is very average, I thing do not pay your attention. There is a lot better place to eat and drink.

Don’t always write positive reviews. But this is sad when the place has 4.4 stars and its nothing but great. Just like a great country of Ukraine.

My family and I were visiting Vandenis on the 18th of July, 2022. The service was pretty good, waitresses were polite and working quickly. We only had to wait for a receipt for a little bit too long. However, the quality of food was poor. We ordered some starters, that was overpriced. Eventually, the cocktails that are very simple to make (aperol Spritz and Mojito) were very disappointing. Mojitos were made in very small glasses and Aperol Spritz was made in normal size glass but there was half of it in the cocktail glass. Price of the cocktail is from 9 to 12,5 eur so for such price you should make it proper size, taste and look.

The atmosphere was good very nicely decorated. The cepelini were amazing, but the Kiev kotlet was not that good, quite dry and the salad was not good either.
