I was a loyal customer here and visited about 5 times a week. This visit I had the “black plate” Smoked rib eye. I’ve had this here about 10 times before and with no complaints. My dog would not even be able to eat what they just served me. I had to go down the block to fill my belly and get a burger at shake shack after dropping a $20 on this plate full of fat. I won’t be back !

Best BBQ outside of Kansas. Will be back. Can't believe Yankees can BBQ that good. Staff was Southern friendly. All bull aside meat was smoked just right. Didn't need any sauce.

Long time customer of Mission BBQ and love it every time. The patriotic theme is perfect for a chain BBQ restaurant. I always get the NC style (with coleslaw) pulled pork sandwich but also opted for the 5 rack of bone in ribs. They also have an assortment of BBQ sauce on the table to add to your dish if you like it extra saucy

David the Floor manager is clearly running a tight ship. He is super friendly, professional, and attentive to guest needs and the overall experience of patrons. The dining room and tables were spotless, all condiments and utensils stocked and clean. We come here alot! Sky took care of us today and as always the service was exceptional. Fast, very friendly and helpful. The food is always fantastic, hot, fresh, generous portions. Today's visit was particularly good, the brisket was unbelievable. Cornbread is moist, mac and cheese is so good! For a great quality, fairly priced delicious bbq meal this is by far the spot.

Mission BBQ is a cut above from the food quality to its wholesome American values. They STOP operation for three minutes to salute and sing the pledge of allegiance. Pro-Veteran, Pro-Values. A little pricy but consistent food quality - I’ll pay a little more for the above EVERY time. MURICA’

I forgot to ask for my steak to be well done, when i brought it to their attention, they explained they cannot take food back to the kitchen and they made me a perfect well done steak and allowed me to keep the other one for my puppy who will appreciate it more than you know! Mission has great BBQ options and always family friendly and helpful employees. The brisket has a great bark and the sides are all excellent. The service is very quick. Also, I love going to places like this with the various BBQ sauces at the table to mix and match throughout the meals.

Pretty solid BBQ sold here. I ordered the brisket, slaw and green beans, all very tasty. Ate here with a couple of co-workers after a late night of working. Half of us are from Texas, the other half from KC, so we have our opinions of what makes good BBQ... Mission BBQ did not disappoint us. Only been here once, but looking forward to eating here again.

Came for lunch and finish some work. Stayed for 3 hours and Keith kept checking in, super friendly made us feel welcomed. This is why I love this place. Great service and great cause. Always get the AMERICAN HEROS cup to support. THANK YOU KEITH.

Food is phenomenal. But you're selling me 6 ounces of meat for $12.69? Is the business hurting that much? I'm sorry, but I won't be back until you change your portion sizes. $33.84 for half warm pork and chicken?

This is probably the best food place I’ve ever had the pleasure of going to. The staff is always super friendly. My order is never wrong, and the food is always delicious. Not to mention I never have to wait more than 3 minutes to get my food. I love this place ❤️

I usually love this place. Today my whole opinion was changed. My order was missing a sandwich and side order to start it off. And I didn’t notice until I got home (15 minutes away). When I called the store to let them know my order was messed up they kind of rushed me off the phone and tried to pacify me with “I talked to my manager and we’ll issue a refund” I paid $68 for dry sandwiches and hair in my sons food. I drove the food back and showed them the short silver hair in the food (the woman with short silver hair was there) when I asked about HAIR NETS the manager told me in an aggressive tone “it’s not their corporate policy to wear them”. So I kindly pointed out each worker in the kitchen. ALL of them had long hair and in sloppy pony tails. I pointed out the girl chopping up the brisket and dropping fries in the fryer had a long ponytail and was swinging her hair over the fryers and over the slab where she was cutting up the brisket. The manager AGAIN got aggressive and repeated the same thing. It’s not our policy and said “we don’t have to wear them”. I pointed out that in almost every restaurant in America ALL people handling food have to wear hair nets even the men with beards. She was VERY rude and completely did not care about anything I was Saying to her. There was 2 other families in line behind me and they left when they saw me show her the hair in the food. How disgusting 🤮 !!!!! And a huge inconvenience that I had to drive back to the store all to be treated so rudely. We will NOT be back to this location! I would give ZERO stars if I could and CORPORATE NEEDS TO CHANGE POLICY AND MAKE EMPLOYEES WEAR HAIR NETS WHO HANDLE FOOD! If I could I would fire that rude woman she needs to learn how to treat customers! It was not my fault they don’t wear hair nets. This is what happens when you don’t! You get hair in food 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

First time there I was greeted by someone cleaning tables no signs as to what to do when I came in. So we sat down then figured out that we had ro order at the counter. No biggie. Got to the counter told the young lady we were new she suggested the 3 meat combo came with 2 side and a drink. So I had baby back ribs which fell off the bone and half of chicken which was super tender and well seasoned. We were also greeted by a young man on the grill im the back who was very helpful. Our sides were mac and cheese yummy not dry at all. Also had collard green they were ok as they have tomatoes in them and I am not a fan of hot tomatoes lol. We also got a free side of banana pudding so yummy we order a plate to go and this one had sausage and potato salad sausage was ok and the potato salad was ok but had the skin on the potatoes which I am also not a fan of. I would definitely recommend this place we drove about 45 mins and would visit again if I was in the area. Restaurant was clean and so are the bathrooms great job guys!

Excellent as always. Food was delish, my 6 year old tore up the pulled pork w/ mac and cheese kids meal. I had pulled chicken and a friend had brisket. All were A+. My friend was going to go get more mac and cheese and one of the employees, a veteran which was awesome to see, gave her a complimentary free side. The employees are always kind and see to actually enjoy their job, was is always nice to see. I've been coming since they opened and will definitely be back.

I am giving one star because of a pattern of poor service. Good food and poor service does not make the customer's experience pleasant. We have dined in, but lately ordered for pick up. On the last few visits, I noticed that the staff appears very unorganized with no visible processes at the register to accommodate customers. For example, there are only two registers and sometimes the line extends to the entrance/exit doors. During my last visit, I was asked if I was paying with cash or credit. I told the cashier "credit". After she summoned me over, I told her I was there for a pickup order and she said that should couldn't help me; "he'll help you at that register.", she said Why is it that the both registers cannot accommodate dine in and pickup orders? The employee who was on this register, asked her to come over and help me. She repeated my order and had it wrong. I called it in, and the person who took the order repeated it back correctly, so how is it now screwed up? The workers preparing the food do not have head coverings. They argue. They chat, and seem completely unfocused, throwing food in containers etc. When my orders came out, even after repeated verification on the phone and in person, they were still wrong! This site appears to be cutting corners with public health, customer experience and food preparation. The food/health/safety violations here must be horrendous, if not up to code. A car was parked blocking the entrance into the restaurant, even though there is a sign that states "no parking". I do not recommend Mission BBQ in Plymouth Meeting because of persistent failure in customer experience and possible health violations. This location is chaotic. The staff appears distracted and unable to take basic orders.
