I needed my watch repaired and went to several of the local jewelers. I was quoted in the hundreds and 3-4 weeks turnaround. A friend suggested Stellor Custom Jewelry. I brought my watch there the next day (they're closed on Mondays) and I got it back a day later at a cost of $50.00! Even better, the owner, Steve, is a biker too and we spent time swapping biker stories.

While their jewelry is lovely I had a bad experience with a watch repair. I brought my watch in for a new battery. The glass on the face of the watch had a crack. When I left there was a small part that had become dislodged around the manufacturers name on the face of the watch. It was not dislodged before the repair. The watch worked for a week. I brought it back and told them the watch had stopped working and this part was dislodged. They told me moisture was getting in due to the crack and another battery would not help. This seemed odd to me so I asked for me $25 repair visit back so I could take the watch for another opinion. They denied this request. Did I mention? I had spent $500 on a Christmas present for my daughter in the store! So I left snd went to Carver Jewelers. They not only fixed my watch, they told me the crack was superficial snd no moisture would get in. They didn’t even want to charge me for fixing it which involves removing the part that had become dislodged. I insisted they charge me something. I do not like being taken advantage of and lied to especially when I’ve spent so much money in an establishment. So as much as the owners are very personable and their designs are lovely I will never step foot in there again.

Was told one thing over the phone from Steve. Another from Lori when I showed up. I will say Steve was very pleasant to talk to. I recieved a ring from someone important who passed and wanted to keep it in the family. I had to cancel the first appointment last minute because of a family emergency. But they were happy to reschedule. I was told the ring couldn't be sized from a 4 to a 6 without breaking the mount. I also asked to have 2 diamonds removed from the band to make another piece of jewelry. Lori said it wasnt possible because of how they were mounted. So I left. Went to a jeweler in Carver and he did everything Stellor said wasnt possible, no issues at all. I wanted to support business of the town I live in but different jewelers have different abilities. Also was in the market for custom bride and groom wedding rings. Carver Jeweler recieved that business from me as well. Maybe if I dealt with Steve the whole time it would of been a different experience. But they could not handle something another jewler did so simply. Maybe others have had a great experience but my first one...not so much.

Stellor did an absolutely stunning job on my wedding band. I asked for a custom design using an old beat up family ring (both the gold and diamonds) to match my unique engagement ring and they immediately saw my vision. They quoted me a very reasonable price and had it done within the timeframe I asked. I would highly recommend them for custom work!

I’ve used this jeweler because of its favorable reviews. It’s not easy to know which jewelers to trust giving you a fair deal on purchases, appraisals or repairs but I have no reservations about giving Stellor Custom Jewelry my highest recommendation for the best service, quality and price. My most recent visit was only for watch repair that was very fairly priced and done in 1 hour.

I have been using Stellor Custom Jewelry for all my jewelry since they opened years ago. They are wonderful! Lori is always great at helping me pick out just the right piece for myself or a loved one. Steve has done several custom designed pieces for me including a new wedding ring (that I get compliments on almost daily). His artistic ability is incredible and his workmanship is top notch. I feel fortunate to have such an amazing jewelry store in my hometown!

I went to Stellor Custom Jewelry in Plymouth because they had many very positive reviews about their watch repair business. The reviews were correct!!! I met Lori who owns the business with her husband. I brought a number of watches of different brands and ages which I had not worn in years because of the coming of the I Phone. I wanted to get them in working order in anticipation of selling them. Lori looked over each one very carefully and clearly knew more about watches than I did. Ultimately she indicated I only needed one battery replacement and was easily able to determine all the others were in working order. She indicated it would be counter productive to evaluate a watch that was in working order and that I should simply wear those that were “motion operated” to make sure they kept the correct time. Frankly I did not realize that there were so many different “ mechanisms” including battery operated, motion controlled, and needed to wind on a daily basis. This whole experience was a delight and I learned more than I ever knew about wrist watches. There is absolutely no need to go anywhere else!! ___ Richard M C

I have to start by saying I never post or review anything, but I definitely needed to. I was looking to get my girlfriend an engagement ring. I googled places in Plymouth and ended up emailing Stellor Custom Jewelry. Lori emailed me back and I instantly felt that sense that they cared. I went by and Lori was AMAZING. I gave her an idea what I was looking for and from there she help me design the ring. She explained EVERYTHING about diamond rings. We ended up designing a beautiful ring. They built it in within a week. When I picked it up I met Steve what an AWESOME person. To say I was astonished at how beautiful the ring turned out is truly an understatement! My girlfriend was so happy with the ring it exceeded all her expectations! The ring was a bit to small to fit over her finger, the very next day Lori and Steve fixed this. Lori and Steve are professional and care very much about their customers! I would highly recommend them to anyone without reservations. THANK YOU! Steve designed and made our wedding rings, and I couldn’t be happier with the look and quality of his workmanship. His personal efforts creating the rings ensured a perfect final product. And their prices are better than anything the chain stores try to sell you. I highly recommend this business.
