I went to Bantanyan Island on May so sorry for the late review haha. The BEST Mexican food I've had in all of Philippines PERIOD. The owner lured me in by saying he had some of the best food on the island and I took his bluff except it wasn't a bluff. The wait wasn't long as we had chips with salsa and all the food we ate was extremely authentic. I love Mexican food so everything was delicious. He, his wife and workers were so nice. Everything from service to food was perfect. So good actually that I came back in the morning lol. I recommend to anyone that loves Mexican food or willing to try something new. Who knows maybe you Filipinos might like it. You should go there. I'll definitely go back there again next time in Bantayan Island.

Good mexican food i liked the ones with beef brisket ! nice quality but bigger eater need to order 2 portions ! anyway good food and i been there twice and i will come back !

The burrito (pulled pork/carnitas) was okay and size is super small like someone took the middle part... The meat in burrito was not hot, didn't had much flavour apart from the hot sauce. We had to go get more food somewhere else after.

Probably one of the best & consistent restaurants in Bantayan. I tried the BMFB & Cuban sandwich and both were really good! 😋 A bit pricey compared to others tho but worth it, you'll definitely walk out with your stomach full 😅 Loved their fries & nachos as well! 👌💯

Had a taste of their burritos in 2018 🌯 in Davao but sadly, that branch closed. I was super excited to have them when I visited Bantayan. They’re smaller than I remember (thanks to inflation. Lol) but they still kept the quality. Wish I wasn’t traveling solo though so I could get more dishes. PS. Thanks for the free shot 🥃😂

Came here everyday for the week we were in Bantayan island, very delicious mexican food. Clean and tasteful. Good staff, fast service. Big minus is the dogs and people screaming 🤣

Had a great dinner here last week! My friend from Cebu highly recommended this restsurant and im happy i tried it! Food is for sharing, i found the serving really large. The nachos were homemade (not those ready chips) and were so good - we had the tequila chicken nachos and there were some mangoes in the salsa on it and it was great! We had the pork chimichanga, a fried burrito, it was also very good and very big 😆 we had beers (in crochet-ed holders, so cute) and had a great dinner. The stall was beside a resto with live music so we had a nice vibe. We paid in cash, but there's also gcash available.

Brilliant place. More of a texmex than traditional Mexican place. Serves tacos and burritos. They are the bomb. Real tasty food. The owner is this expat that is there what seems like every night. He's a hoot to chat with. His engaging personality adds to the ambiance. He'll mix you a fantastic drink. Place is inside MJ square. Any trike driver can take you here. There are lots of other food and drink places close by that add to the overall vibe of the square. Often have music playing making it a lively place.

We ordered burritos and quesadillas and both were really delicious. We also had a mango cocktail which was also delicious. This place is reasonably priced for the amount of serving you get. The meat was one of the best we had, and the quality was top notch. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic American-Mexican food.

The Philippines isn't known for it's food. The people, yes. The food... THAT said, BEST veggie burrito I may have ever had!! The salsa absolutely was the best ever!! Just add some homemade hot sauce if you want more heat! GREAT FOOD and staff!!!!!

Great burrito with smoked beef. Homemade. A must visit place when in bantayan Island. In the mj square so great ambiance. There are dogs though and that's a bit weird in this restaurant area. But it's common in the Philippines I noticed.

I recently indulged in a delightful burger experience that left my taste buds dancing with joy. Each bite was a perfect blend of juiciness and texture, making it a truly satisfying and memorable culinary adventure. I thought I would fall in love with the beaches in Bantayan. But didn't expect I would fell in love with the burger. I miss that burger.

Sooo happy we found this place! Amazing food, I think we tried everything over several visits, nothing disappointed! Great staff and fast service. Welcomed warmly by the owners who made our stay on the island even more pleasurable. Don't hesitate to call by if you're on the island. You won't regret it.

Family of 6! We ordered tacos, burritos and chimichangas, they were all so good! If i go back to Bantayan Island, Cebu i would definitely come back to this restaurant. I highly recommend getting the pulled pork tacos. 🌮

The best food we had in Bantayan. Nachos and quesadillas were comfort food and plus they serve mojitos, margaritas and tequila which comoletes the whole tex-mex exoerience. Chef Jaime is still one hella great guy, when you eat here expect to be entertained and treated like he has known you for a long time - a VIP.

I’m not a fan of Mexican food but of all the restaurants I’ve tried in Bantayan. This is the best. I would go back to this 100% Fast/good service. Reasonably priced. Got the nachos and chimichanga and it was superb. Hoping to try the brisket next time. Please come to Manila!

Friendly and attentive staff. The only place in the Island that serves something unique. Owner was kind enough to answer our questions. Huge piece of chimichanga! The pork and the smoked beef brisket are super good! They also serve locally-made and locally-sourced sauces!

We have eaten here three times, and our experience is that we really like this restaurant. The food is fresh and the nachos our made in house. Taste just like you would get in Mexico home made. The staff is friendly and attentive to your needs. The owner is also very attentive and makes sure your happy or makes it right. This is a great restaurant and a must try when visiting the island of Bantayan.

Chili con carne tortillas 5/5. Pulled pork burrito 3/5. The tortillas are freshly fried and are excellently complimented by the chili con carne. The burrito, however, was bland. The rice was soggy and we could not taste the beans. I've tried the burrito six years ago and it was outstanding. I always craved for it that I vowed I'll have it again should I be in Sta. Fe again. This visit was somewhat a disappointment. The place is also too warm to have lunch in. The staff was very courteous in directing the electric fan to us but it was simply not enough.

I was here today. We just happen to pass by this place. With no particular food in mind, I told my friends I'll go for nachos. And it was the best tasting chili con carne nachos I had. They said it's their best selling among the nachos. Their nachos are homemade and so is their dip sauce. The price is just right. The ambience is good as well. The truth is this place is a Trip Advisor Awardee. When you visit Bantayan Island Sta Fe. Don't forget this place.

Awesome foods. Loved the smoked brisket. The shop is decorated nicely. Sadly i did not manage to take photos. I even take some to go as well. Definitely will come back again.

The friend burrito is so good. ✅ambience ✅food ✅location ✅ a bit pricey though, but reasonable. The owners are even hands on, you will see them around and having small talk with their guest.
