Probably one of the worst places I've stayed at. The main contributing factor was the staff. Rude and not helpful. They got into a strop because I asked for the room to be cleaned. This should be done daily as standard. The room was no good either. Broken fan on toilet which allowed bugs to get in. Broken wall lamp above bed. Big gap under front door so cockroaches would just stroll in the room. Seems like management are not bothered with the hotel side of this establishment and just the restaurant. (Owner looked so miserable and after reading other reviews seems he's not really a nice fellow). My best advice I can give is avoid this place. If its within your budget go to Adelaida hotel instead it's 100 times better than this dump.

Let's start with the positive, great location and comfortable chairs in restaurant. The owner is German and handles the procurement and logistics of the restaurant and does an excellent job. His wife or girlfriend handles the wait staff and service end of the business. We have eaten here three times and this is our experience. The wait staff spends alot if time in the bar area talking. We have had to call them over every time to order our meals. You will wait an average of 40 to 50 minutes to receive your food. Always seems like it's not super warm like it sat for awhile before being delivered. There are lots of restaurants in this area that deliver delicious hot food to your table in half the time. It's a great location and has potential, just need to handle the wait staff and redirect there priorities from talking to customer service.

Reviewing for the restaurant. Place has a good ambience but unfortunately service is poor (and it was not even rush hour!). Have read the same reviews from other people commenting on the service as well. Multiple attempts to call the waitresses, but seems they’re busy discussing something with each other.

Service is so slow. We only ordered pasta and sisig and it almost took one hr to be served. Idk but the staffs are not ok to serve? Then the taste of the foods are not satisfying at all, burned garlic on alio oglio, who would like that? Ok, the location is accessible to other resto. Hopefully, there will be improvement to their resto.

Worst service in town. Took half an hour and a reminder to get one cocktail and one beer, even though there were like 5 waitresses behind the bar doing literally nothing else than checking their phones and laughing out loud. Place was almost empty when we arrived, only three tables were occupied. The only waitress who really seem to be working was pretty rude- cannot blame her though as she was the only one actually working. Food was average, quality and price wise. My cocktail was pretty good though. Time to pay comes, and I get three different bills, as every time they forgot to charge for something else. I wasn’t able to pay with credit card, as they only accepted card payment for bills over 1000 pesos. As I asked for a receipt, cashier was reluctant to give me what she called an “official receipt”, so I was just provided a hand written paper with prices on it. She wasn’t friendly at all neither. The place looks beautiful from the outside, but it’s not really worth it if the service is that bad.

We ordered vegetarian pizza, and it is definitely not the best. It's bland. Drinks are okay. They have limited wifi or just don't expect anything. They have a toilet. Nice ambiance. There are some outlets. Nice to chill here for drinks. I'm not sure if all the food here is good. Accepts cash and cards.

As restaurant is lovely. The low tables and the cushions are fantastic. Really add a lot of style to the place. Food is great also. I had a very good tanigue in coconut sauce and excellent siniga soup. Staff is lovely also

Very nice rooms in a perfect location. The restaurant is fantastic as well. The staff is incredibly friendly, and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

I've eaten in the restaurant off and on for many years and it's always been my favourite place to eat or drink in town

We had dinner at this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the food. It is conveniently located near MJ Square, easily accessible by tricycle or motorcycle parking nearby. Although the waiting time was a bit long, the delicious food made it worth it. The unique nipa hut-inspired table setup, where you can squat, adds to the experience, especially for millennials and Gen Z's. The menu offers a variety of options, but the Chicken Cordon Bleu stood out for its generous serving size. Overall, a great dining experience worth trying.

We tried their restaurant fortunately food was delivered within 35 mins despite of bad reviews about serving time. Their is only one staff who take and deliver orders from one table to another. More staff are in the bar area. Hard to call staff when you need something. Food is so-so we ordered beef kaldereta too gummy despite being thinly cut, calamares was okay, kinilaw it lacks the taste i was looking for and pansit ( super salty). The restaurant has a nice ambiance but the food was not good. Not that pricey

I think it’s the biggest and one of the busiest resto in the island. Chill place and affordable food selections. Expect some long wait time so don’t go there if you are super hungry already.

Ambience has a lot going for it. Stay here if you have time to kill. Large servings expected for the price. Menu is extensive with quite a lot of drink options. Inconsistent service. It took about 30 minutes for our bill to come through. Management is quite receptive to feedback though, would not be surprised if you have an impeccable experience on your next visit.

I have personally had the pleasure of visiting this establishment several times, and I have to say, the food, drinks, and overall atmosphere here are fantastic! From the delicious cocktails and craft beers to the fresh and flavorful food, you will not be disappointed. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, and the ambiance is perfect for a night out with friends. I highly recommend Coucou Bar Hotel and Restaurant for a great evening out!

Prolly one of the best restaurants nearby. It's the only restaurants that I've had in the area that sold good food for a fair price. Portions weren't insane and it was well made. I would definitely go again on my next visit to bantayan.

The place looks great but the food... very small serving for its price and very little ingredients. The staff aren't that accommodating also. The salad is a joke also. Expectations vs Reality. Lol

We stayed here for 4 nights. The room was clean, nice, and modern. The food at their restaurant is good, portioned well, and not overly priced. The only reason I cannot give them a 5 star review is because of their inconsistent service. The servers and staff are very friendly and accommodating, but you really need to call them over to order or ask for anything else. No one really takes the initiative to come to your table when you're sitting there. However, I still highly recommend!

Just stopped in for a drink to see how the place is. Nice location and appears comfy and cozy, but staff was disengaged and ambivalent. I asked for a glass of ice and the bartender put it in front of me...didn't look at me and didn't respond when I thanked her. She looked grumpy as well...almost annoyed at our presence. I had to ask for my bill twice, and when it came, I paid with cash. When the change came back, they didn't have exact change but didn't tell me. Just shorted me 15 pesos. I really don't care about 15 pesos, but it was obvious, so they just gave me less.

Frank battaglia made a YouTube video and warned me not to go here, he said the restaurant was terrible and the pizza was dry and paper thin. In truth, the pizza was delicious. Great flavor and lots of cheese, coupled with amazing service.

Stayed at a different hotel but we saw that their restaurant had great ambience so we decided to have our dinner there. Upon arrival, they didn't have that much diners but their tables and chairs are unkempt and uncleaned. Also, their staffs were so unaccommodating and unwelcoming that they told us to just wipe the table clean with the table napkin provided. Lastly, their food didn't taste good or even average that their kalamansi juice did not even taste like kalamansi juice at all. The only dish that tasted acceptable was the Chicken Kebabs but overall, not recommended.

Ordered only one pizza, but we waited for an hour and the pizza hasn't arrived yet. The place wasn't even crowded (we arrived at 4:50 PM). We kept following up, only to discover after an hour that their kitchen ran out of gas. They could have just explained the situation in the first place.

Worst experience I've ever had in any restaurant by far! Atrocious waiting time of one hour for a pizza without updates from the staff. We had to call them to us to get updates. The first time I asked them for updates after about 30 minutes of waiting they said our pizza was coming in a few minutes (they even put the cutlery on the table for us) but after a full hour of waiting for the food, we called one waitress over and she then told us that their kitchen had ran out of gas! My frustration was through the roof and just canceled our order and walked out. My best friend and I came to the restaurant hungry but went out angry! Disgraceful!

Food was below average, even low. Price was way too high compare to other restaurant around the area. Was not able to finish my food as it was very low in quality. If a simple pasta they cant make it right, what more for the other dishes.

This is exactly the definition of a good looking resto but serves an awful service. We arrived exactly at 6:00 PM and ordered in a jiffy, we waited for an HOUR for the food to get served but to our surprise, we weren’t informed that they prioritized the reserved folks and asked us to wait for another 30 minutes, we got so displeased that we just wasted our time waiting for nothing and ended up eating to a different restaurant. Imagine the hassle. The waitress who approached us seemed to be intimidated and isn’t helpful at all (June 16, 2022 - 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm) Really bad customer service, no empathy and an outclass manner. Do you let your staffs roll their eyes on the customer? We were very patient and talked to them politely.

Ordered around 8pm and got our pizza and fruit shakes after 21mins. Just a minute late from their estimated time of serving. Pasta is still being done though. Hopefully they taste good. Will update later if I can One less star for the mosquitoes. 🥲

Disorganized staff though 😳 No hot sauce but when I went to the cashier to order some more I saw some other staff give hot sauce to another customer. 👎 But pizza was great! 👌 Chicken was huge but some parts were not well cooked though 🤣 Great seating place near the road 👌 Pet friendly 👌🐶 Edit: After a year, visited again, ate pizza ... 👌 But staff were nowhere around, all were still clamped inside the bar area. 👎 Cannot connect to wifi. Should give guests the bar hotspot password instead of the hotel hotspot. Guests cannot connect to it considering hotel guests gobble up all ip spots.

We had our breakfast amd dinner here at Coucou, it was nice and food are great. Breakfast is really good. Our Dinner food was served a little late though, but it was okay. One of the busiest establishments in Santa Fe, its right in the middle of the town. And the coffee is really good too👍
