😠 I've been a member of Gold's for circa 20 years because of its excellent equipment & easy access at all hours. However, since they quit staffing at night, you must use their pass key which works only erratically. If it doesn't work, then I have to wait for somebody to leave so I can get in. I really... I've been a member of Gold's for circa 20 years because of its excellent equipment & easy access at all hours. However, since they quit staffing at night, you must use their pass key which works only erratically. If it doesn't work, then I have to wait for somebody to leave so I can get in. I really dislike this. I pay my dues and do not cheat or sneak people in. I drive 40 minutes round-trip to get there so hate taking the chance that I won't get it. They've also posted a really mean declaration at the entrance that you must have a recent picture and proof of ID! Is this how to treat loyal, paying customers? They've chosen not to staff at night in order to save money. They need to contact all of their customers and tell us that our current passkeys must be updated and recoded since their current system does not work. Then they should inform us of who to talk to at what time to get this mess straightened out. I'd hate to leave because of these hassles, especially since I'm paid up for the calendar year. They take my money every year and IF they're going to claim to be open 24 hours, then, by Zeus, they should be.

I've been trying to close my membership for the past two years. Golds gym has thrown every loophole and excuse at me. I live in Minnesota. There isn't a golds gym anywhere near me. They say I have to do it in person with a form that ABC fitness, the subsidiary says doesn't exist. Flew home this past December and went in every day. Each time a different excuse. I stopped paying, you'd think they would cancel the membership after sending to collections. Nope you pay collections and they continue to bill you. You can't get out of a membership here. Don't sign up in the first place. Only advice I can give.

It seems like the personal trainers & the physical therapy staff get priority and get to save machines, but it’s an issue if anyone else does it. Or they act like you’re a huge inconvenience while you’re on a machine they need. After my year membership is up, I won’t be renewing. I’m tired of feeling like an inconvenience when I pay good money to attend this gym.

I liked the gym and staff. But because of an back surgery I had to cancel my membership. It took 7 phone calls where they said it was canceled but I kept getting charged. After the seven calls I finally just accepted that I would just pay the 50.00 that they said I owed even though I had told them 3 months ago to cancel. Terrible customer service!

The Club was fine, but got some attitude when trying to cancel our memberships. They said that I would need to fill out some cancelation forms. I asked if they could email them to me and then I would sign them and email them back. (there is no way to cancel online) They then told me "it's actually just easier if you come in and sign them". Easier for who? Because it's definitely not easier for me, the client. She was seriously trying to tell me that it would be easier for me to pack up my kids and drive over there than for her to send me an email. I told her I wasn't going to be able to make it in so if she could just email the forms to me, that would be great. She then said that she could email me the form for the membership, but that I would still have to come in to sign the form for the kids club cancelation. I asked her why she couldn't email me that one and she said that it was because they use a different computer system. I then asked if she could just have them email it to me then and she said sure. After I said thank you, she said yep and hung up. Seriously so unprofessional and lazy. How hard would it have been for her to figure out a solution to the kids club form herself? Seriously felt like I was dealing with a 12 year old. She didn't give me her name, but I called billing Monday April 17th at around 10:30am if management would like to address this concern. The process to cancel is way more difficult than it needs to be. Edit: once talking to management, they were super helpful and got me taken care of!

I like how popular of a gym it is. There is a lot to do besides workout like Yoga, Zumba, classes etc and it is clean well lit and has great A/C, various quality workout machines and Weights and treadmills. I can also do most of my hobbies I like including swim, play basketball then relax with massage table and sauna. I pay for the premium package so my son over 10 goes as a guest and I pay a low price per month for my youngest to be watched at the childcare center. It is also great that kiddos can swim and play basketball on the weekends for free during certain times!

I have physical therapy 3 X's a week at Superior Physical Therapy and love how easy it is to use both places as they are so close together, every employee is optimistic, aware of what you can do and what you need to work on, there is no "can't" but we can try 🤗 I recommend the dry needling(acupuncture) highly, they are very knowledgeable and supportive with amazing personalities, every single one of them🙏🏼💖 Thank you guys, you're awesome💯

Will definitely not get a membership here due to the very lax policy on wearing masks. In an Establishment where people are breathing hard, sweating I believe it should be a requirement to wear a mask as well as cleaning the equipment. Apparently, Gold's Gym does not take the pandemic seriously.

Great gym enough said. The majority of the employees are friendly. I have yet to have a negative experience there. I really like the personal trainers, they are knowledgeable and friendly. Especially Josh.

Gold's gym does not really care about fitness or people becoming healthier!!! All they really care about is the $ money!!!! In 2017 I won a free week trial and instead they pushed and pushed the first day I went, to sign up. They told the deal was only for that day!!! They had three people at once come to push me into signing up. I felt very obligated because of their pressure to sign up after they finished talking to me. Fast-forward to now, my insurance company pays gym memberships and Gold's Gym is one of them. However they only give you the bare minimum uses of their facilities, which is the machine weights and free weights!!! If you want more access to the gym you have to pay!!!!! Where at Pocatello Community Recreation Center you get full use and access to classes, the pool, weights, machines, and other things there. IT'S JUST SAD THAT GOLD'S GYM JUST CARES ABOUT MAKING MONEY AND NOT HELPING PEOPLE GET HEALTHY!!!

This is a great place to workout and it has everything and more. I love how open and light it is inside. There is a ton of equipment. My personal trainer is Conor and he is awesome! Very knowledgeable and has taught me a lot. I also love the sauna and steam room. Everyone is very nice here.

Easily the best equipped gym in town. Great basketball court, nice racquetball courts and really big group exercise rooms. Cross fit stuff upstairs and a ton of cardio equipment. I love it.
