Attractive and Colorful fishing beach at the north end of the Srilanka. There is a soil mountain around the church. It is wonder. Don't know as it is made after tsumani or not. It is an amazing feeling like climbing hill. Can see the sea from top of the soil mountain. No any danger there. And there is no any restriction for public. Can see all around. Beside to the church, there is lot of small soil elevations. According to the name of the area, it is not a forest area. It is a sea side with bumps of soils. #Sea #Beach #Church #Soil #Christian #Bumps #History #Dutch #Manalkadu #Mountain #Beach #

A beautiful beach close to point pedro. Some development activities have happened here it seems but not that populated most of the time. It’s not safe to bath here when the sea is rough as the sea get deep just after few feet from the beach. People have died here . So be careful.

What a drive to get to this location. What a location for this little fishing community. I really would like to learn and understand the history of this place. Obviously it was and is Christian community. Wells everywhere, houses made out of cocconut palms. The sand is a golden colour. Didnt see anyone swimming?

One of the most beautiful beaches in Jaffna. The clean sea, fishing area, fine white sand. The beach is very large and with many dunes. The beach is full of garbage and all its natural surroundings too.

beautiful long white sand beach, warm waters. good if you want somewhere more quiet and peaceful. side road takes you to a beach front parking lot. just be careful about swimming - strong waves and rip current, stay close to shore

Unspoiled and very clean wide beach. May not be the best for having a sea bath, but excellent views.

What a beautiful place to visit. I visited many times here with my University colleagues, Friends, Office colleagues, Family. Every time, I feel better than previous visit. Seashore, White sand dunes, Casuarina forest, nice wind flow, whistle noice with casuarina leaf movement. It is better to visit in the evening or in a rainy days. I highly recommend this place to visit and see nature with fresh breath. Swimming is danger here because this is the park ocean and there is no coral reefs or shallow water. You just watch the nature and eat some delicious food with your family. make it memorable day.

If you plan to go there, either go in the early morning or evening. You will get burn if you go there in the afternoon. Indeed a beautiful place with calm, quiet and picturesque scenery. There are many photogenic places around here. ❀️

A beach with soft white sand and without impurities. Beach is not polluted and small sand hills are also available here. Lot of pine trees are grown near the beach area and its like a pine forest. You can visit there with your friends in the evening, but bring food and beverages. Know the best routes by asking the people around there, not just follow maps.

Manalkadu Beach is a golden sandy beach which is situated in the Jaffna district. It is a famous beach for its noticeably large number of sand dunes which is one of its unique features. There are a few fishing boats and some palm trees to be seen in this beach. The St Anthony’s Church with a 6 m-tall statue of Jesus Christ stands at a lonely spot close to the beach. Getting to Manalkadu Beach From Jaffna travel along the Jaffna-Point Pedro Road passing Kalviyankadu, Siruppiddy and Karaveddi to reach the Manalkadu Beach.
