Absolutely first class establishment. Food is of very good quality and the staff are very attentive and friendly. The Scottish breakfast is amazing one of the best I've had for a long while. We also tried the afternoon tea it was so fresh and tasty, and very good value. Oh and don't forget the homemade cakes.....I'll definitely be back soon. Thank you. Geoff Davis.

Love popping into Thistles for lunch. Food is always lovely and service excellent. Ordered afternoon teas for a surprise party last week. Was so glad I did. Sandwiches, scones and cakes were fabulous! And even some beautiful chocolate covered strawberries! Everyone at the party commented on how lovely it all was. Thanks to Marion and all the team at Thistles.

Outstanding although I'm not surprised. Myself and my wife have been in various places and Thistles are by far the best organised. We are running out of our usual places to go. Thistles here we come.

Can’t thank Bobby & Marion enough for their help organising a family wake. Food was lovely, great selection of sandwiches, sausage rolls and variety of cakes. Service was spot on - checking with us to makes sure everyone was catered for including gluten free options. Nothing was too much trouble and the family appreciated their guidance for everything to run smoothly on the day.

Great food, friendly staff and fair pricing. Just passing through on the A71 looking for some lunch, didn’t stop here first but glad I didn’t go with my first choice. I crossed the road and I’m sure I’ll be passing through more often. Very spacious tables considering the current pandemic though I had a take away panini that was absolutely gorgeous and coffee was great too. Thank you very much 👍

Enjoyed an excellent brunch there this morning, poached eggs were perfect! Customer safety is obviously a high priority and the staff were excellent at making sure everyone had sanitised their hands and knew how to check in for track and trace, whether that was through a mobile phone or just manually. Pleasant and attentive staff, great food. Would recommend.

Popped in on Saturday and had a really good coronation chicken baguette, tea (2 pots) , and a great toasted tea cake. Food great, staff friendly and attentive, spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend 👌 Best value 11 quid I've spent since the wife's engagement 💍 ring !

Went to Thistles for the first time with my wife and newborn baby for lunch. The cafe is bright and airy and the staff were friendly and welcoming, even giving us a ‘penny for the baby’ (significantly more than a penny) which was lovely. We both ordered panini’s which were delicious. The cake selection was impressive too. We’ll definitely be back.

A delightful cafeteria. The best in West Calder. Very helpful staff, wide ranging menu and very fair prices. The premises are bright and clean and inviting. What's not to like!
