My family stayed 8/8/23 - 8/10/23 in Room 576 and we absolutely loved our room. Staying so close to the parks was great especially with the extreme heat warning. The cold towels being passed out in the lobby where very refreshing. My 4 year old loved spending her birthday trip at this hotel. The children's activities were really good. It was a shame the pool was closed on our side. It didn't appear to be in need of repair. And no one came to work on it. It was disappointing on Wednesday because the muddy puddle splash pad at Peppa Pig was closed down as well... We tried the other pool for a little while but bigger kids were being too aggressive near my 4 year old (lifting the rope up and over her so she was on the deep end of the pool twice with the lifeguard saying nothing) so we didn't bother going back there. Loved the gift shop in the hotel but wished it was open until 10. All the kids activities stop at 9 along with the pools closing.... It would have been great to be able to stop in for a set to build on my way up to the room. Food on property is delicious. Ate at all 3 restaurants in the hotels, only had an issue with anything at shipwreck restaurant, mostly to do with lack of courtesy dealing with disabled members of my party, but I wrote a separate review about that. Lack of courtesy to disabled guests was very noticeable (in the hotel, shipwreck restaurant, and Peppa park). From employees standing near by letting a member of my party struggle with her walker trying to get out the door to the pool to no one bothering to tell that member she could have a courtesy transfer over to the Peppa Pig park so she didnt have to walk (we found out that was possible when we got there and were renting the EV) that seems like something that should have been mentioned by the employee that greeted us when we were printing out our room keys. There are no disabled spaces in the employee parking lot so it's impossible to leave the property between 7 and 8:00 a.m. when day shift is getting there and still get a disabled space when you come back. When we got to the park the first day they weren't any spaces available until after 3pm. Overall half of the staff was really great and enthusiastic and the other half seemed like they really didn't want to be there. But there was an excessive heat warning so that's kind of understandable 🤷🏻‍♀️ I still would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the lack of courtesy to the disabled. $1400+ for the 2 days we spent at Legoland would have covered 2 nights club level at animal kingdom Lodge and tickets in to the park which seems like a way better value because of the courtesy Disney shows their disabled guests. And it's not just Disney... Universal, SeaWorld, basically all the parks we've been to go above and beyond to be as helpful as they can be to the disabled...best I can say about the Legoland property in that regard is that it's ADA compliant with ramp access and accessible rooms.

A truly fantastic experience for families with small kids. I purchased the all inclusive pass which had tickets, room, food and many other perks. The dining options were very delicious with plenty of entertainment for the kids throughout the hotel.

This made our visit perfect. Our 2 and 4 year old are talking about it a week later. The breakfast, evening entertainment, pool, quick access to parks was great. We came off season on a Tuesday so our room was quickly available and the park was quiet which is worth it for a 2 year old who hates lines. Breakfast staff was kind and every corner keeps your kids happy.

Just returned from a two night stay at Legoland staying at the Pirate Hotel. The park is clean and roomy with rides that are fun for younger children. Hotel was fun and colorful. Hotel had one desk chair in the room with no other seating. Called front desk to ask for another and was told none were available. Prices to eat at Hotel and park were way too high. One may expect to pay more but their prices were exorbitant. Fifty dollars for lunch for two. Will not return.

It was a great experience for my kiddos 6 and 5. We stayed labor day weekend and surprisingly enough the parks wasn't that crowded. We've stayed before in the beach retreat about 2 years ago and I would defentally rather stay in the pirate hotel there is much more for them to do here than at the retreat. Would have given 5 stars but our sink had a huge crack in it and I think they turned down the pressure in the sink because of it and the mini golf course was extremely dirty for 8 bucks an adult and the pirate pool was dirty as well.

The theme was adorable and the kids’ area was perfect. But it smelled terrible and wasn’t very clean. There were broken plastic pieces on the floor that I kept stepping on. The bathroom floor didn’t seem to be mopped. The shower drain was so filthy the water didn’t drain properly and ran out into the bathroom. There was mold around the drain and on the shower walls. Several pieces of packing tape were stuck to one wall in the sitting area and the other wall was covered in dust that was clearly visible in the light from the window. There were only 3 sets of towels in the room even though it was a 6-7 person suite. The treasure hunt was fun but the code to the lock was incorrect. I tried to call the desk for towels and the lock but the phone didn’t work. I asked at the desk and the towels were delivered within minutes. The man who delivered them tried multiple lock combinations and radioed for assistance from customer service and maintenance. It took about 10 minutes of people giving him wrong codes before he was given the correct code. We paid $800 for one night in a family suite. Other than the theming, the room was on par with a $100-$150 per night hotel room. We had a blast at the parks but I would never stay there again.

Stayed in a Pirate themed room with the bunks for the kids and a king bed for the parents. Every hotel should have family rooms and be set up like this. The included breakfast was great. Family style with coffee juices and milk. Very low key compared to the nearby Disney complex. Less crowds and easy access. Drove up the morning before park opened. Dropped bags and self parked (saved $40 instead of valet). Walked 100 feet to the park gates. Super easy. Came back to our bags in the room. FYI, the “build your LEGO character” voucher you can buy with your hotel booking is redeemed in the park, not at the hotel. We thought it would be an evening activity, but the manager walked us back into the park and ensured we were able to pick up our purchase. Well done by him. Will return if in the area.

Wow! The theming in this hotel was outstanding. From the well decorated and clean rooms that included a pirate in room treasure hunt. The free family style breakfast was really good too with lots of fresh fruits and meats. Great size for a family of 5

Hotel was very nice, rooms were themed, large and awesome. Parking was not great as it was a hike and very full, overflow was even further so plan on dropping off the family at the door with your stuff and hiking in. Proximity to the park is very close with its own security checkpoint. The 2 restaurants on-site were good, not great but good. Front desk was 1 person for 2 very busy large hotels and the rest was like using self checkout at Walmart. The service in general at the resort and restaurants was not great to put it nicely. Seemed like alot of younger people and major lack in leadership everywhere. We had an issue with our park tickets (booked a room and ticket package through them directly) and in the end we had to enter and exit security from the park 3 times back to the hotel desk to correct the issue, at which point a manager "fixed it", not my expectation for 2500$ spent on 2 nights and park tickets. Some other strange service issues with staff in restaurant just casually standing around with dirty tables, or closed seating sections in the restaurant with a huge line at the door. Overall room and proximity to parks was great. Cost and customer service major cons.

5 out of 5 ! Splendid time we all had! Wife and I were huge kids for the kiddos and from the moment we walked in to the amenities, food, love, pool with legos, everything was beautiful! Hotels and rooms were decorated beautifully! My son has been asking for this for 2 years and I was so happy to do this for him! He loved it ! We all did 🫶🏽

This place is in the middle of nowhere but for being next to the park at walking distance I give it 5 stars. The rooms are great, and they have pretty awesome games and treasure hunt. The service... JESUS Christ! Everything is a NO. You have people saying "no" and "we can't" for everything. Even when my 6 year old tried to take a picture with a character at the Hotel, someone shoved him away because they were only there for an hour and the hour was up at the very moment we approached. The fire pit is also open for an hour, at the mark of the hour someone comes and shuts it off no matter if you are roasting marshmallows or not... people bought their 25 dollar smores kit and were only able to get one or two in because there were others roasting... the people that work here need to understand customer experience, and the company needs to understand, both, the customer and employee experience and the correlation between the two.

It is connected to the Lego land hotel and shares many of the same amenities. It is only 200 ft from the entrance of Lego land and they have many evenings activities for the kids. The only negative comments would be about the breakfast. The give you ice cold plates to put your hot breakfast on, so your eggs get cold very quickly.

We recently stayed here and really enjoyed our visit. The rooms are great and have a lot of detail put into them to keep the kids entertained, it was nice to be able to relax in bed while the Legos provided entertainment. The food was better than expected (we ate at shipwreck) and the service at the restaurants were great. There are several things that really took away from the experience. The first is that the elevators STANK ... I want to say wet dog because it's not just mouldy. The rooms didn't get cleaned until after 4 and when they did it wasn't done well. We also had to ask for towels which never arrived. The water also stinks like sulphur, which was not very pleasant.

Overall good experience and glad we stayed at the hotel, however I do think it is overpriced. The kids had a ton of fun and it is so close to the theme parks which was really convenient! Food is very overpriced, breakfast line was 45+ minutes and mediocre, pool closed 2 out of the 3 nights we were there. This was annoying to us parents, but the kids didn't mind and had an amazing time. Next time we will stay at best Western and eat at Ruby Tuesday though!

This is probably the best hotel I have ever stayed at, and I've stayed at hundreds of nice hotels. Every single thing about the hotel was amazing. The room decor was unbelievable, I felt like we were in a Lego movie! They left surprise hoodies and toys for my kids and I paid for the birthday package for my son which was so nice! There's lots to do and I think it's so worth the money. The room was super clean and even the lobby bathrooms were very clean. The restaurant food was really good and what's cool is both hotel amenities are available to all guests. I can't wait to come back!

Hotel-not great! For 7 people it was too small for the price we paid. Water pressure not great at all! Staff-half were great and the other half act as if they didnt want to be bothered or attend to kids or anyone when they put on a show! No smiles No help, rude! Get off the stage. Front Desk-rude, when asked questions as if we were suppose to know all about the hotel and parking! Food-buffet can be better, change it up from day to day! Tired of the same food at the Buffet. The Buffet cook-Armand took care of my grandson that has peanut allergy! Really nice man! For breakfast at the Buffet AJ took care of us and he was nice!

Such an amazing place if you have children. The staff, the hotel, park access, amenities are all designed around family with kids, and everything was perfect. We loved every second!

Amazing attention to every detail to fully immerse you in the Lego experience. Helpful, friendly staff, great free breakfast with table service, play areas, heated pool with giant water slide, and just steps from Legoland!

The Experience was great, as we went after a major holiday and during the week. My girls Loved it and the treasure hunt was a nice surprise. We had dinner and the complimentary breakfast at the Hotel, a bit pricey, not all the sides where great but over all satisfying. Access to the park was easy and the over all stay was memorable.

Our room was amazing. Very clean! We ate at the Shipwreck & the food was so yummy. The only complaint I have is how far away the parking is from the Hotel but it's free so that is a plus. Everyone that works at the Hotel from the people at the front desk to the servers at the restaurant were so wonderful. Very friendly. Everything was crazy expensive but well worth it :)

Clean, rooms are clean and spacious. Gym is basic and small but the outdoor pool is lovely. Cute view of the pond at the back. Coffee and cookie offered in the lobby. Breakfast is a decent selection. Location convenient. Close to shops, food places and others.

The hotel for the kids. Kids love it but I'm not enjoyed it. The room cost $600 but feels like you stay at a $100 hotel. I see a lot of parents with kids like us come to visit but they have no microwave, only a coffee machine... They build the hotel so kids love to come but didn't think about what they needed.

The service and location was great. However, we had a few issues with the room. Our bathroom sink was clogged upon arrival, the floors felt wet, there was no microwave and the room was very humid. The mini fridge barely held our leftovers and basically froze everything we put in there. The main bed is super high. I am 5 ft and I had to jump up to get in it.

We live 2.5 hours away from Legoland, and it is worth the drive. This was the first time we stayed at the hotel and it was amazing! I recommend taking kids of all ages because there is something for everyone. The rooms were clean, and the staff was attentive and very kind. Make sure you do the pajama dance party at your hotel, the kids will fall asleep from all the dancing and fun. Can't wait to go again.

The hotel is great my children absolutely love it. The rooms are not super spacious for a family but they really keep with the pirate theme. The lobby play area is always a hit as our the Pajama dance parties. We have stayed here for 4 nights 2 years in a row and the constant problem is housekeeping. There is a small trash can in the bathroom and one small one in the main room. With small children we obviously produce way more trash than this. Housekeeping does not take anything, even if it is clearly trash directly next to the trash can. Empty water bottles and soda cans lined up directly next the trash, nope. Empty pizza boxes leaning next to the trash, nope. Very frustrating. I had to call down and ask for trash bags so I can clean the room. They come in and make the bed and replace some towels, that’s it. No new liner for the ice bucket, no vacuuming, nothing. Just frustrating when you pay for high end accommodations and do not even receive the basics. The complimentary breakfast is outstanding, every wait person we have ever had had gone above and beyond. Other than that we got out for dinner as the pricing of the food at the hotel is insane. The little restaurant in the hotel is theme park quality at a resort price. The all you can eat family style BBQ is the same price as a steak dinner. Not at all worth it. Fortunately there are a lot of great family friendly restaurants near by.

The Pirate Island Hotel decor is very detailed and fun. Rooms are a bit small for a family with kids but our kids loved the themed look, the bunk bed, legos into play with in the room, and their own tv. Queen bed was very high and difficult for me (5’ 1” to get onto) but was comfortable to sleep in. Housekeeping only stocked the bathroom with 3 towels in a room for 4 guests (and actually could hold more guests if needed). Service was lackluster at the hotel and the park. Several people we encountered in different capacities (restaurant, front desk, etc) just didn’t seem happy to be there and were not the most pleasant to deal with. Asking for a booster seat and high chair for my little ones made me feel like an inconvenience to one of the hostesses. Also, we splurged for a lake view room but got a pool view room with a small piece a lake in view… not worth the extra money. Aside from the location, we felt this hotel was extremely overpriced for what it offered even with member discounts. Elevator is cool and we loved that it played a song while we rode but it is very slow and so many times there was a significant line and wait to ride it. The Shipwreck restaurant served cafeteria rated food and was overpriced for the quality and lack of choices at dinner. The Pirate Island pool looked very dirty and we didn’t feel comfortable letting our children swim in it. This was unfortunate because my son was begging to let him go swimming. The hotel location to the Legoland theme park is amazing. It is as close as you can get. The entrance to Peppa Pig theme park is a little bit of a hike from the hotel but it is walkable. Note: Bungalows are off-site and required transportation to the park. Parking is a nightmare and be prepared to walk even as a hotel guest. There is just not enough parking close to the hotel for hotel guest. Valet parking is available but adds $40 per day to the bill!!

Water park was great and lazy river. But lunch prices, really? 2 small tacos and a few chips $15. You have to buy an all day drink cup for anything other than water. And they break easily, have to go back to entry area to replace it. So if you have their cups bring them!

Great atmosphere for young kids and things to do to keep them busy! Room was lots of fun and breakfast choices were good even though it is served family style.

Legoland Pirate Island Hotel was super cute! We loved the separate bunk bed area for the kids, which had a TV for them as well. They were excited to do the scavenger hunt when we first arrived. Appreciated the kid accommodating touches like smaller toilet seat and step stool in the bathroom. Personally, the room felt dark to me, but no big deal. Breakfast places opened at 7AM and was filling. Every waitress we had at Shipwrecked was great! I signed up for creative workshops before our arrival to make sure we got seats. All of those master builders were great, but the room is always freezing! The lobby is chaos with legos and kids everywhere, but my kids enjoyed it. They also have an agenda for the day to check out what's happening after the park closed. We really enjoyed all the decorations and entertainment.
